Anyone know if this track pack is on the uk psn store an for how much?

According to Codemasters, it should be up for € 3.99. Maybe someone in the UK can confirm/deny that for you.

They also said the PS3 patch is now out, but I was never prompted to download it.

However, I am now seeing staggered starts in Pro Tour now in the US. So far, I think I like it. But is ghosting off? I could see if a slowpoke was out front and made it hard to pass that would suck. Realistic, yes, but would still suck.

Oh and regarding superteam liveries for 360 and PC:

from Paul Coleman's twitter
Sorry, the Superteams will only be available on PS3 for now. Depending on how things go they may then appear on Xbox & PC.

One more thing: I think double xp is working now. Finished 4th in a trailblazer and got 1,200 fans. Don't remember that being the reward for mediocrity :)

I believe they can issue some patches without a download. I know COD has done this a number of times.

That could be true, but there's a few issues with that theory: 1) that's generally known as a "server-side fix" that goes through online play, hence why COD does it so often, because it's basically all online play. "Patch" terminology usually applies to client-side downloads. 2) Even with online fixes, I've never seen offline bugs/glitches fixed through the server-side fix. I think there was a few offline fixes in the DiRT 3 patch, not completely sure, but last I read there was. 3) Codemasters said the delay for the PS3 patch was certification through Sony, and I was always under the impression that only client-side patches went through certification, server-side fixes don't. That's why COD can do playlist updates and other games can do double xp and various other multiplayer updates without certification because they are done on the server side.

The x-games Asia pack is £3.19 and the superteams £2.39

Shibuya is great fun, more of a dusty tarmac course compared to the gravel/tarmac from Dirt 2, also a lot brighter.
The superteams is a lot less VFM, especially if you're level 30 and don't need the extra rep points it provides, there are some nice liveries though, I especially like Yokohama on the Delta HF.
Now I just wish Shibuya and Monte Carlo would be added to their relevant world tour pyramid.

If they revamped Croatia and the jungles of Malaysia from DiRT2 for DLC, that would be complete win!

Wishful thinking though, considering that this is the last in the Dirt series :guilty:

Is it? the last one? they should DLC all the tracks from the previous ones then...

They even mentioned that DiRT 3 is the last in the series. They as in "codemasters" They'll make future rally games but not in the Dirt franchise. According to some twitter news from the past from Paul Coleman, they're working on a full gymkhana game.

Alright well hope they also make a full proper rally game! Keeping all the rally cars from all different eras from dirt3 and adding more too. No interest in a gymkhana game but I know others will be.

One word: rental.

Do you have a video/article link where they talk about DiRT 3 being the last in the series? It makes sense, just wanna see what they say about it.

Hopefully WRC 2011 will fill that "proper rally game" gap this fall. Supposedly last year's game had some big graphical problems but they're refining it for this one, in addition to various other updates.

I find it kind of bs how on the USA PSN the x-games pack is 99c and on the Australian PSN its $6.95

Well, it's not supposed to be 99c. It was supposed to be $4.99. It's just one of those things man with lady luck. That being said, if it stays for a buck for a few weeks (or permanently) then you certainly have reason to be pissed off.

They mentioned it a few times during the development previews of Dirt 3 saying that this is the last game to round out the trilogy. After that they'll focus on something else but they wanted the Dirt franchise to end or something along those lines. That's why they wanted to kind of go out with a bang with Dirt 3, implementing what was in part one and part 2.

You can read more about it here

as of any official news, can't find it. IT IS somewhere on youtube where Paul Coleman actually states that Dirt 3 will be the last of the series, can't remember which video i watched though.

back to DLC talk, don't want to derail this thread anymore lol.

It's a livery for an open-class Ford Escort (which isn't actually available until you download it).

Oh yeah, well I meant that the Escort is already there, but in another class. This is just a different class, same car. Right? So it's really just another way to use the same car with a cooler livery, as I see it.

Ken Block Pack is on the NA PSN store for 2 bucks. I guess it's just a livery? Bit of a waste. Probably pass on it.

This and the EA Season's Pass are 2 of the worst "add-on" things I've seen in a long time.

Horn pack is worse than this, but I guess for a buck it doesn't feel as bad. EA's season pass though is the biggest load of BS. Pay 25 bucks for demos and discounts on worthless dlc. Fantastic!

Fair enough. Forgot about that.

At first with all the DLC I thought great a developer that supports its game after release but I'm starting to think this is much more a cash grab than I'd hoped.

I tried downloading the Block/Hoonigan escort tonight, and even though it says the download was successful, the game is still telling me that I need to purchase the car to use it.
