FITT: Blind Tuning Challenge! Congrats to Bowtie-muscle & Otaliema! Tuners Revealed!!

Best to start 'em young, all the best racing drivers have been exposed to motor sport at a very young age and supported by their parents đź‘Ť
Well that won't be an issue for him or my daughter soon as she gets the concept she will start driving too.
He wanted a blue car so I let him pick any car he wanted from the 300 or less pp range he picked the Samba bus in baby blue with custom rims painted in GT fluorescent 005 (neon green) rims, tuned to turn on a dime. I might just refine the tune and post it rather fun bus lol.

The Samba Bus is a sturdy and noble steed, I used to use one for drifting in GT5

I might have to bring the old bus up to date, that thing was a lot of fun if a little prone to falling over

If you can send a shot with the car then thats ideal but if not don't worry because I haven't decided how I'm going to present it yet (might use them, might not) đź‘Ť
Photo mode or race mode? I figure studio mode might give away what car we are using cause somebody might see it before I could download and remove

OK so we don't have to bother with sending pics then?

Also, I have been extremely busy at work this week and weekend. If for some odd reason I do NOT get on long enough to send the new tune in, if the deadline hits, go ahead and use that old tune a sent 3 weeks ago. But I do intend on switching if I can.

Gentlemen, it is now just after 8:00 am EST for me, PLEASE have your tunes ready or submitted by MIDNIGHT tomorrow Jan 31st. Midnight is where ever you are in the world, but basically until I get to the computer Sunday Morning. As for @DolHaus and the GT300 Time Attack class, that is up to him as he is 5 hours ahead of me. If you need extra time, please let us know. There has been 2 weeks to prepare but I understand this thing called LIFE can sometimes throw a curve ball at you.

If the entry isn't in by the time I wake up on Sunday and I haven't received a request for an extension then it won't be entered đź‘Ť

Upholding the British tradition of subterfuge and polite dishonesty
Absolutely! Its what we do best!

I`ve really enjoyed tuning for this challenge. And, dare I say it, I`m quite proud of my entry! (Said that about my MR2 and look how that ended up!:dopey: Does come in handy for drifting seasonals though!) :dunce:

And I`d like to say a hearty keep up the good work to @DolHaus and @Bowtie-muscle. Sterling work to get it this far gents.

I have to second this because I really didn't know how much work goes into making a challenge fair and competitive until I started testing an idea I had for one. Great work to all the hosts over the years.

I second exactly what you said, still slowly working on one of my own, and third @brian wolf because it is always a joy to watch these events fold out and participate when I can.

I second that second: Second, and I also agree that this has been a good challenge for tuners, and I am also very happy with how my tune has panned out: I have learned a lot from it. I am also looking forward to testing for the duel.

Good work @DolHaus, and @Bowtie-muscle.

Well made it 29 hours with out a smoke better than the last three times getting futher each time. So sit back and relax for a week then try again. Just like when I started smoking it take practice to quit. Just need to keep at it. But trying to quit while trying to buy a house is a lot harder than I figured it would be the added stress ugg.
I quit smoking 64 days ago. :)
I did it on some time off work staying at home with the kids.

Personally, I just accepted the fact that nicotine is only mildly addictive, and after the first 24-48 hours, it was easier than I ever imagined. It's a habit that's hard to kick, much more than an addiction that's hard to kick.
Hope it goes well for you. đź‘Ť

Nicly done sir, We will get this habit kicked soon just taking a little at.a time so we don't shock our systems and with the added stress of buying a house that makes it just a little harder.

Now choices choices I tested a new setting and found it has the potential to take a tenth off the time but at the same time it makes a few of the corners rather interesting...The submitted tune is consistently half second faster but that tenth is hard to ignore...
