It likes to slide around, nothing too crazy, and I question the stock transmission. There is a lot to be gained by tuning the trans especially with the Honda being the underdog. It felt sluggish to me but that could be me and that I drive an automatic trans.

It didn't feel very agile or nimble on its feet, but it was stable and safe. This kind of tune is done by someone who makes cars for a wide range of drivers....now who does a lot of tunes?

A car like this is why you drive! I really liked that this car suited the driver, if you are average, it will stay under you and give you confidence lap after lap. Push it more and it will gladly agree. This car can be wicked fast in the hands of better drivers.:bowdown:

A little loose, but still a joy to drive. Even with it being a Honda!:sly: A very solid tune.

Another good tune that can be enjoyed by all. I felt as if there was a little something missing to make this car spectacular. If I was a better tuner, I might be able to suggest what to do...:dunce:

This car felt like it had been put through a technical tuning process. It was very precise on throttle and steering inputs. I like this one, and for a while it was the car to beat time wise.:cheers:

You actually felt as if this is how a car would handle in real life as it bounced and moved around the track. It could push on entry if you launched yourself into the corners, but easily managed.

Amazing tune, agile and quick around the turns! But this car drove you, not the other way around. This car has attitude and a personality all its own. If it wasn't so stubborn it would have gotten a near perfect score.

Whoever tuned this car truly understood what can make a car quick around a particular track. The suspension was excellent and allowed you to take advantage of the quick sections of GVE reverse. Turns 1-4 were eaten up by this car. Before the fastest lap was set, it was easily doing 10.5xxs until I took it over the curbs and set a time that shocked me. I dub this tuner.... Evil Genius.:odd:

I struggled finding speed in this car. My only guess would be the extra 50Kg. It was easy to drive but down the long stretch I watched previous ghosts pull away.

Great job tuners, as always you guys did an amazing job creating cars better than the stock settings.:cheers:

As for the guesses, I submitted a copy of them to Bowtie yesterday, but I will post them here in a day or so. Until then, I'm looking forward to other tests and guesses maybe put doubts in the minds of my other testing competitors!:cool:

Each tune was given 15-20 laps to get the best lap possible, some more some less. In general, I really liked all of the tunes and found it very difficult to separate them. I found the IS350 to have a tendency to oversteer on exit, the BRZ to understeer on exit. These were at differing corners however, some tunes had a blend of both. The IS350s were tested first, then the BRZs, followed by a quick retest of each IS350.

Tested with DS3, M/T, ABS 1 - Arcade Mode with grip set to REAL.

This track, though seemingly easy, has never been one of my better tracks for whatever reason. If my times seem off compared to your own, it could be the driver and the track, not necessarily your tune. I did try and get the most out of each. :)


Tuner #1: BRZ
Lap time - 55.549
DC - 8.5

Quick, very quick, and easy to be consistent. Smooth on exit but with power understeer most notable on the final corner. Nice tune, nice job. :)


Tuner #2: IS350
Lap Time - 55.804
DC - 8.0

Nice turn in and good brakes. The gears were a little shorter than I would have liked but overall helped and did not hurt. Typically, loose on exit was the challenge and curbs were not it's friend(But this was with all the tunes not just yours). I liked it alot but struggled with time. Original time was 56.044, during the retest I had laps od 55.068 and .069 within 5laps. Shows how easy the tune was to get a handle on. Best lap cam on retest lap #7(final lap) Really nice effort!👍

Gearing was wide to help with exit and did, but Maybe too high on LSD accel?(MAYBE):confused:.....This car was hurt by the grip bug, there than gone on exit. Kept feeling a better lap was coming but it never did, even the retest did not lower the best lap altough I matched it several times. Put more laps in this tune than any other trying to get more. Not a bad tune at all, just likely not a good mix with my style and ability although a really gave it my all. Slowest in the field but not too far off.👍 Let's hope another tuner gets more for you than I could. Great Effort whoever you are.

Please read FIRST:
Each tune was given 15-20 laps to get the best lap possible, some more some less. In general, I really liked all of the tunes and found it very difficult to separate them. I found the IS350 to have a tendency to oversteer on exit, the BRZ to understeer on exit. These were at differing corners however, some tunes had a blend of both. The IS350s were tested first, then the BRZs, followed by a quick retest of each IS350.

Tested with DS3, M/T, ABS 1 - Arcade Mode with grip set to REAL.

This track, though seemingly easy, has never been one of my better tracks for whatever reason. If my times seem off compared to your own, it could be the driver and the track, not necessarily your tune. I did try and get the most out of each. :)


Tuner #1: BRZ
Lap time - 55.549
DC - 8.5

Quick, very quick, and easy to be consistent. Smooth on exit but with power understeer most notable on the final corner. Nice tune, nice job. :)


Tuner #2: IS350
Lap Time - 55.804
DC - 8.0

Nice turn in and good brakes. The gears were a little shorter than I would have liked but overall helped and did not hurt. Typically, loose on exit was the challenge and curbs were not it's friend(But this was with all the tunes not just yours). I liked it alot but struggled with time. Original time was 56.044, during the retest I had laps od 55.068 and .069 within 5laps. Shows how easy the tune was to get a handle on. Best lap cam on retest lap #7(final lap) Really nice effort!👍


Tuner #3: BRZ
Lap Time - 55.191
DC - 9.5

Simply lovely tune:D:D
Could have been the only tune under 55.000 if not for the driver. Excellent Job.

Tuner #4: IS350
Lap Time - 55.696
DC - 9.0

My favorite of the IS350s, fun tune, really fun tune. Unfortunately the car suffered from oversteer on exit that came out of nowhere. Grip-Grip-Grip-Goodbye and slide sideways. When I managed to tame it, the lap time improved. Could find some mild power understeer, not bad but present. There is a better time lurking in this one for sure, hope another tester finds it for whoever you are.


Tuner #5: BRZ
Lap Time - 55.195
DC - 9.3

Almost as good as Tuner #3, almost. Smooth and consistent with slightly higher lap average. Second fastest lap was 55.197. Found the trans WEIRD to set, really nice and it worked, but weird. Who does tranny testing I wonder?:confused:


Tuner #6: BRZ
Lap Time - 55.401
DC - 9.0

Really good and stable tune, only issue was it was a bit slower than the two top BRZs. First lap was faster than any other tunes first lap.


Tuner #7: IS350
Lap Time - 55.967
DC - 8.0

Perhaps too much front brake, entry was critical and had more mid-corner understeer than the others. Gearing was wide to help with exit and did, but Maybe too high on LSD accel?(MAYBE):confused:.....This car was hurt by the grip bug, there than gone on exit. Kept feeling a better lap was coming but it never did, even the retest did not lower the best lap altough I matched it several times. Put more laps in this tune than any other trying to get more. Not a bad tune at all, just likely not a good mix with my style and ability although a really gave it my all. Slowest in the field but not too far off.👍 Let's hope another tuner gets more for you than I could. Great Effort whoever you are.

Generally more on the loose side, especially under hard braking. Not bad if sliding around is what you are good at. Not that I'm good at loose setups, but my straight line braking style does help.

It likes to slide around, nothing too crazy, and I question the stock transmission. There is a lot to be gained by tuning the trans especially with the Honda being the underdog. It felt sluggish to me but that could be me and that I drive an automatic trans.

DC Score: 8.5
It didn't feel very agile or nimble on its feet, but it was stable and safe. This kind of tune is done by someone who makes cars for a wide range of drivers....now who does a lot of tunes?

A car like this is why you drive! I really liked that this car suited the driver, if you are average, it will stay under you and give you confidence lap after lap. Push it more and it will gladly agree. This car can be wicked fast in the hands of better drivers.:bowdown:

A little loose, but still a joy to drive. Even with it being a Honda!:sly: A very solid tune.

Another good tune that can be enjoyed by all. I felt as if there was a little something missing to make this car spectacular. If I was a better tuner, I might be able to suggest what to do...:dunce:

This car felt like it had been put through a technical tuning process. It was very precise on throttle and steering inputs. I like this one, and for a while it was the car to beat time wise.:cheers:

You actually felt as if this is how a car would handle in real life as it bounced and moved around the track. It could push on entry if you launched yourself into the corners, but easily managed.

Amazing tune, agile and quick around the turns! But this car drove you, not the other way around. This car has attitude and a personality all its own. If it wasn't so stubborn it would have gotten a near perfect score.

Whoever tuned this car truly understood what can make a car quick around a particular track. The suspension was excellent and allowed you to take advantage of the quick sections of GVE reverse. Turns 1-4 were eaten up by this car. Before the fastest lap was set, it was easily doing 10.5xxs until I took it over the curbs and set a time that shocked me. I dub this tuner.... Evil Genius.:odd:

I struggled finding speed in this car. My only guess would be the extra 50Kg. It was easy to drive but down the long stretch I watched previous ghosts pull away.

As for the guesses, I submitted a copy of them to Bowtie yesterday, but I will post them here in a day or so. Until then, I'm looking forward to other tests and guesses maybe put doubts in the minds of my other testing competitors!:cool:

A bit less than 2 weeks left for testing I believe, we left a week between tuning and testing just in case we had any problems but it all went smoothly so it added nearly a week of testing time 👍

Deadline is the 21st, you have plenty of time, almost too much time.

No tune felt quite like that, not enough horsepower. Now the Car of the Month......maybe.:crazy:
