The tires would stay the same, unlike the pro-spec that requires dirt tires for dirt tracks. Also, sports tires are more of an all weather tire, compared to racing slicks, which is why there are racing rain tires.

Blanket rules for all classes
No Oil changes
No engine rebuilds
1 tuner picked tune setting change (optional)
Tire compound change
NOS Not allowed.
Maximum of 10 point ride height difference front to rear.

??

Done. Tuner post updated.

Hmm didn't releize the track dried out on us. I'll run 10 laps see what happens with the track.
As for Tsubkua the 40% is just enough to mess with the car not make it slide all over the track.
It seems to, its hard to tell with Tsukuba because the wet vs dry times are only about 0.2 secs difference at the most (I think its wet enough to mess with a rwd car but not enough to bother a 4wd). With Stowe I was definitely getting faster after lap 6 while testing various cars, the car was sliding a lot less under braking and it became a lot harder to get the tail out (I have accounted for driver improvement over time)

Are you sure you have weather changeability set to 0? I just tested Tsukuba and I did not have an issue unless I had weather changeability on 1.

Edit: Also, are you testing online or in arcade? Arcade defaults to 0 while online defaults to 1.
Set at changeability 0 in offline arcade mode.

Unless it's something that can be turned off it should tell you over by the map how much surface water is on the track. Or is that another missing in GT6?

@Otaliema what are the required wet weather tyres? I can`t see it listed, only up to sports hards for spec and up to sports mediums for street.
Any tire you want upto the listed limit for the class the rain tires are in the racing class.

tires do need to be changed in all classes for each track.

Can I sign up to be a tuner in the street racer class?
Done Sir.

The surface water is indacated on screen. I've not seen it drop while driving what I have seen is the tires getting cold. but other than that nothing of notable. i'm only at lap 5 in silver stone so not at the 10 lap point yet

Yeah i've noticed the % doesn't change, either I'm imagining it or the dial doesn't work.

Thank you sir. Would love to see you test a challenge one of these days. Your feedback would be invaluable to us guys here in FITT. Your one of the top 100 in the world regularly.

@Otaliema Actually on second thought sign me up to tune the spec street class. And for testing I'll try to do the rallycross and tentatively the spec street.

I need something to keep my sanity over the next month and this will help:boggled:
I'm pumped!:gtpflag:
Done sir. if you want to tune another class let me know

I am usually up for the challenge of these tunes but unfortunately I don't have much spare time over the next week or so. I am going to dip out of this challenge. Best of luck to all the other tuners and testers though.

I totally understand ya. Just a FYI in case you missed it, the tune(s) are not due till June 4th so you have a couple weeks to tune a car.

Opps i left a half PD ghosted car in the street racers division.... lol ohh well it's lack of wet handing covers up the dry track gain.

Thanks for the reply, okay, put me down for Spec Class and Street Racer class (as tuner). I am a little tired from doing a late shift at the hospital so forgive my naiveness but I am able to pick any of the cars from each class. Such as for Spec class, I can go for the Mitsubishi and the street racer class I can go for a Subaru? I know which cars I will tune as I have them in my garage untouched.

No worries. about car choice, with the classes on the 19th I will post lists that will have been randomized by my self and @DigitalBaka for each class, when your turn comes up you can pick STi or Evo the number of slots for each model is half the number of tuners registered for the class. so at this time there are 4 slots for each make in street tuners and 5 in Street racers with one free choice in each group. If all the slots are full one side you get auto defaulted to the other. The free choice person is randomly decided and will be noted. Once you pick a side you can than pick any car from that line up for that class.

That makes sense now. Thanks for clarifying.

On another matter, I am just testing the track settings on GVE circuit in free run mode and I can't change the surface water to 40% to see what the grip level is going to be like? has anyone else found this or should I tune in Arcade mode to get this setting enabled?

I believe this may be the same (bug?) as on both Willow Spring tracks, the option is grayed out? It would be the same in both the test drive and arcade I believe though.

Yep. its greyed out on all options but grip level (the very bottom option). Good news though. The Dacia Sandero ... (just kidding). On Tsukuba circuit has the option enabled which should be the same grip level as GVE? Perhaps? well see i guess.

I did notice that willow springs didn't have the option for rain. I just figured it was cause it's a desert track.
And testing at Tsukuba is not a bad thing as thats the track for the test driving. :P

Probably one of the better ways to tune anyways, or finish a tune.
