donesign me up for street racers please.
1 tune for 2 tracks, however, you can change 1 tuning setting. Example, front dampers for each track different or rear dampers different for each track. Or LSD, final drive, etc......if I read it correctly anyway.@Otaliema what does this mean? "1 tuner picked tune setting change (optional)"
Do we build one tune and only tires change between tracks? Or are we building two tunes, one for each track?

It would be one tune but for the dirt/wet track, you can change one setting on the car to make it better on the "new" surface. The center differential would be another example that may be more helpful. This is a two track one tune challenge. Meaning you have to provide one tune for the car that will be used on two tracks. You are allowed to make one change to the provided tune for each of the tracks if desired. A setting anyplace in the tune. As an example you want to change the Dampers, you can change one of the two dampers options Compression or Extension, the setting may be changed for the front -OR- rear setting, on the car.
I believe that only one of the settings can be changed for dampeners, not both. @Otaliema feel free to correct us if we have something wrong though.1 tune for 2 tracks, however, you can change 1 tuning setting. @Otaliema Am I correct that twin plate clutch is ok for Spec Class or is it standard clutch only? And I checked out several cars tinoight and have to say you are an evil genious, and that is NOT meant to be an insult. Hard choices coming in manufacturer selection.
That is why I said or.It would be one tune but for the dirt/wet track, you can change one setting on the car to make it better on the "new" surface. The center differential would be another example that may be more helpful.

I was referring to what I have now bolded and underlined in both your post and the OP. What I read from this is a gray area about if I can change both comp and ext dampeners. I was just helping clarify what you said.As an example you want to change the Dampers, you can change one of the two dampers options Compression or Extension, the setting may be changed for the front -OR- rear setting, on the car.
The evil face from Hami has me worried/intrigued
Done tuners post updated.can i get in for street racers and spec ?
want me to put ya down as tentative for a particular group? So, the shootout looks pretty awesome and very well thought out @Otaliema 👍. Time wise I don't know if I will be able to do much for this challenge. If I tune I'll probably be a late entry and go with whatever make I'm assigned. I'm hoping I can at least to do some testing but I don't know which group(s) I can commit to. I'm really interested to see what the dirt/tarmac tunes end up looking like.
I do have a idea about @Motor City Hami and his car make preference too.... could it be related to a particular tune in your garage???
Yellow fin or blue fin?Sign me up for Spec Street Tuner, and tenitive for Street racer as a tuna please
yeah I've continued on from them WRX tunes and continued to evolve it too. I have a few WRX's floating around in my garage all set ready to go, will look forward to seeing which one I have to tune...I'm always getting voluntold into these things. I kid.
Looks good and I am excited to see what happens with the weather being a factor here. I suppose I will get in on the Pro Spec. Hopefully my luck on dirt will hold up.
@Slender_Man good to see you here! Look forward to seeing what you can do with either one of these. I remember your GT5 WRX togue tunes being nigh untouchable in LotS.

Hmm didn't releize the track dried out on us. I'll run 10 laps see what happens with the track.Has anyone done any testing in the wet yet? I think we need to have it raining in order to stop the track drying out, after 4 laps at Tsukuba the track felt bone dry and by lap 6 on Silverstone there was definitely less water on the track than when I started. I also think the standing water needs increasing on Tsukuba as there is barely any grip reduction at 40%
Are you sure you have weather changeability set to 0? I just tested Tsukuba and I did not have an issue unless I had weather changeability on 1.Has anyone done any testing in the wet yet? The tires would stay the same, unlike the pro-spec that requires dirt tires for dirt tracks. Also, sports tires are more of an all weather tire, compared to racing slicks, which is why there are racing rain tires.@Otaliema what are the required wet weather tyres? I can`t see it listed, only up to sports hards for spec and up to sports mediums for street.
