The FITT Tōge Challenge at the Blackfoot Shear ft Point-To-Point is a test because the car is sliding all over the place and downhill as well, the best I can do is a crappy 4:04.644 and it is a challenge to find a right setup.

I've got 3 different cars going right now, trying to figure out which one to settle on and tune... And boy oh boy is the transmission going to be a HUGE factor with these tunes... The standing start has me scratching my head already!

Blackfoot is so much fun to drive in. A well deserved break from all my WRS-induced stress. Thanks a lot for making this map! @Frenzyhero 👍

Best lap so far is a 3:36 but I could really care less about how the laptime will go, just have to make sure the tune's enough to keep the car on track, pretty easy to go off track if you're not careful here.

Same here. I can't really tell if I already have just enough wheelspin to go fast off the line or can I lessen that wheelspin more.

With my first car that I have chosen to test, I have gone from a 4.07.xxx to a 3.53.3xx with minimal changes and no track knowledge. I think with some more tinkering and greater track knowledge, I can make the car I have chosen competitive. Just got to see how it compares when I try my other two options I picked out from the dealerships.

Me too. First careful drive with this tail-happy family car which tuned at the Deep Forest seasonings challenge. No idea fast or not. As long can tame it, should be :P.
Uncareful for this long family car ...

Keep pushing, I'll try to put a video up later showing the lines 👍

Looks interesting, can I sign up for both classes as tuner?
Welcome aboard

I dropped 2 seconds yesterday by just tinkering with the transmission, its a long run and all those little gains add up to a big difference. I won't give away all my tricks but there is a tool (available on the forum) which will give you very accurate and useful feedback on whether you are making your launch/drive better or worse 👍

Good lines through the high speed corners. I would guess that you have a FR car for this video as you are having to recover some over steer moments (which you do very well!) with whatever vehicle you are using.
I think its transferring a little too much weight onto the front wheels during entry which is making it a bit fidgety and causing a bit of push, needs a bit of smoothing out before its ready for the track. Got a few different cars on the go at the moment, not sure quite what drivetrain I'm plumping for yet

Sooooo tempting. This looks like a great FITT event! I don't know this track well, but with elevation changes and the types of corners, tunes that work on Nurburgring should work well here. Time to see if the new G920 pedals work with the old G27. The plug is the same.
Its somewhere between the Nurburgring and the downhill section of Mount Panorama, any good all rounder should do well but its got to be able to take the extra front end load associated with driving downhill. I imagine it will be quite the work out on a wheel
