Seems like you guys have been having lots of fun on this track. I have only managed to do two runs in my first pick of cars so far. I am looking forward to trying out some other cars soon.

Woohoo. 3.47 with about 6 moments off track and only half a completed tune.. I can see this car making the final cut when it comes to choosing my ride :)

Holy 🤬, Grandma built a missile!

My earlier 3'33 and recent 3'31.xxx was done with an NB Roadster, probably gonna test some other cars later on now that I'm done with the tunes on this one.

4WD sounds promising but isn't it too heavy for the downhill?

There are some fun cars in the 450 PP group. I built five yesterday, but have not driven them yet. I already know that I love two of the cars on my short list. I picked a couple of odd ball cars just for fun. And there is one more that I built because it may be a complete sleeper. No one in their right mind would pick it, unless by pure chance.

I'd say 100kg either side of 1000kg is the butter zone, too heavy and you'll get catastrophic understeer on entry, too light and you won't be able to generate grip and the car will skate around

There are some relatively light 4WDs there, but I'm not so sure if they'll have enough power for the flat sections. I think I'll take my chances with an FR, I'm not so good with FF so I don't think I'll be touching those until I learn more.

I just took a front drive family grocery getter and made it into a curb hopping, four wheel drifting monster. This may be my entry, merely for entertainment value. :dopey:
I'm having a similar feeling about my current ride, I still need to build a few cars and check how it compares but as long as its within an acceptable range then I might just run it because it makes me laugh
Hatchback.
90's?

Everything on my short list is late 90's, except for one. I am even going to test something that Burt Reynolds would be familiar with.

Tested car #2 and it is soooooooo gooooooood in the corners, but cannot get out of its own way on the straights.

I gave the track a go with the car I had been working on. NO GO. I set it up for a tight course and this one is anything but. So I went to my garage to see what would qualify that I already had in stock and low and behold I found something. After getting familiar with the track for a bit and a couple of tweaks I managed a 3:38. Just a couple final adjustments and my tune is good to go.

I started with 6 choices but quickly realised I only had two choices which I was going to go for. I think I will have my car sorted out by this weekend hopefully but I will probably hold off on posting. :)

Isuzu Piazza?
Nope. Answer is Levin. But just found a 4WD that easily whacking fast lap times consistently (+ silly mistakes) although not really familiar with this track for every tester. This time I will purposely tune it for auto trans. user to love it. Target for every testers: Point to point 3:29 - 3:32.

I am in the low 3:33 now but there is a problem with the Blackfoot Shear ft Point-To-Point track, the red arrow in the picture below shows a little dip in the track which unsettles the car and it should be fix now, because I am not going to do anymore tests until it get fixed thank you ;).
