Bugged room, wrong grid order, with 2 people watching and no restart or new room whatsoever. Seriously, couldnt at least the race been restarted?!! I get pole and start 4th?!! GRRR Im so pissed off!! Turbo, you could have just done something. that room was just wrong

I really thought this was organized, and apparently it isn't. This has happened last week on D2 and nothing was done about it. Samething happens again, and nothing. And to make things worse, I get disconnected. I just smiled when I got disconnected. Not hating on anyone, but seriously Im just frustrated, really really frustrated.

Nepal, I feel for you and know your position 100%- I hope you read my post from last weeks race, the exact same thing happened to me except for worse - I qualified 1st/pole doing a 34.1!!! But then I started 9th. Ruined any chance I had for victor, and might very well have ended a solid bid at the D2 championship for me. If the grid is messed up, just say something IMMEDIATELY at the start, and I trust that ALL PEOPLE, including the stewards will call everyone in to the race for a proper restart based on qualifying times without question.

On that note, I want to let everyone know, and expect everyone tonight in D2 to be 100% sure that they start where they are supposed to. I don't care if you are on pole or DFL, make sure the race grid is proper at the start. I will GLADLY stop the race and reorder/restart if anyone has any problem. If I have even the slightest inclination that I am out of position, I will back out immediately upon race start, call for a restart and hope/expect that everyone else will follow suit. We have qualifying for a reason; especially in cars like these that have high grip/low power it is vital to qualify well and stay in the lead pack, ESPECIALLY at what is going be the biggest draft fest of the season. Someone 2 seconds slower can keep up with the driver in front, and if you lose the lead pack, your race is over.

What if I quit and order to restart and nobody listens to me? I seriously thought about that, so I kept going. I was already in a "pissed off" mood as soon as the race started. Then, I get hit by TnJ's spin(No hard feelings, it was an accident). So, I had to work my ass off to gain all the time lost. And when Im within reach of the lead I get disconnected.

The disconnection has nothing to do with my internet connection as I was still online. We were in the 1st room where everyone was having trouble getting into, but no problems whatsoever for me. Then, we open a new room and I had some lag on qualifying but no biggie. Apparently, it was. Great!! :ouch: This issue there isnt much that can be done, but the grid start issue can be resolved and NOTHING was done about it!! Sort things out guys. I brought up the D2 issue of last week because of what happened to you. I thought the same mistake wasnt gonna happen again, but NO! IT STLL HAPPENED!!

1st - please calm down.

2nd - I had NO idea, ZERO that anything was wrong. I did not watch qualifying so I did not know the grid order. Again, same issue as last week and I will bold it for everyone to see:

If you are not in the correct grid order when the race is starting, SAY SOMETHING. If you do not speak up, the race host may or may not know anything and nothing will be done.

^^ Please do that.

And I assume that if anyone backs out with clear cause for a race regrid/restart, that there will be absolutely no hesitation on behalf of the race stewards and all participants to exit the course immediately and prepare for proper re-grid based on qualifying time?

Thats what happened tonight to ZO6 he thought that he qualified in my 8th my position but it said on the qualified list that i was 8th

If one person is in the wrong place, then I'm sure there is multiple in the wrong places. Everyone needs to speak up, we can't just leave it to one person.

This also means that everyone is going to have to keep track of their qualifying positions, in case anything happens.

You knew this happened last week and did nothing to alter quali procedure to make sure this does not happen again.

What is there to alter? Since you are so smart, you tell me. And I thought you were gone?

THANK YOU!! And Im puzzled at why Qualifying wasnt watched .

Why would I need to? normally I'm not there, so it shouldn't have been up to me to say anything.

Since you are so smart, you tell me.
Read what I wrote last week on the topic. It's not all baseless complaining.
I'll be nice and quote it

There needs to be a bit more structure to qualifying. It's easy to say that grid is screwed up if you know you have the pole. For people in the middle there's no way to tell if standings during quali are off. So I suggest the room host calling everyone back to the pits once the time is up and then exiting to the lounge and checking everyone's time and announcing how the grid should look like.

I'd think that we're probably good enough in this series to know that if someone backs out of the race, saying that the grid order is incorrect, that we'd look at it and sort it out - so as Turbo says, you really need to speak up. 21 Laps later is not the time to complain about it really. Do it on Lap 1 and the host and rest of the room can sort it out. Worst comes to worst, you get it wrong and the room has to grid up again, 5mins lost but at least it doesn't mess up the grid order :)

Just looked at some of the stuff Biffy was complaining about from our Div1 room (cutting corners), and yeah, that's low 👎 - didn't look at the contact on the last lap, but around Lap 15-19 was some pretty low driving going on at the Bus Stop from a pretty quick driver. Would expect to see that in an open lobby but not here, we're above that surely.

^^^ You would have to re-set the track for your manual-grid to work correctly.

You are the founder of the series, and since you were there, you could be of help and keep track of things. I didn't quit, as I was afraid nobody would listen to me. I need to be ensured by the host(which tonight wasnt the right one) that when I quit due to an issue, the race will be restarted. And that room we were on was worse than the 1st. I'm not going to judge you over just 1 race, because the series in terms of competitivity is great. But tonight you get an F for organization :D.

I got disconnected by the way, so its not 21 laps later :D. Srry for double post.

Well I'm sorry you feel that way, but like I said it's not up to me to say anything. I was putting together stuff for the rest of the races. It all comes down to the competitors saying something, which you didn't, so there you have it..

You only need to reset if grid is screwed-up. Quitting into the lounge will not reset your qualifying time.

We're just going to go back to individual qualifying runs next season anyway. We'll deal with the last race or two by resetting rooms until it works properly.

blah blah blah blah blah.

Two things:

1. Shut up and race.

2. If you aren't racing in the series, then shut up.

No you wouldn't. I think what he means is you have everyone go to the pits after qualifying, then the host goes to the live timing monitor to see all their times. The leader board on the right side of the screen when you're on track doesn't accurately show the positions, only the live timing monitor does.

If it's possible, I'd like to receive no points for today's race Turbo.

It's completely unfair and sly what I did, and to be completely honest, since Biffy went into the sand on the last lap or whatever it was, I've felt real stingy since.

I could sit here for about 30 minutes and write excuses down to why I did that, but I wont, as there's no excuse.

Anyway, I hope that I can receive 0 points today, that nobody has any hard feelings, and that we can just move on from this.

Not nice :(. What if it happened to you? UH?

Its just too much whining. You can make your point and move on. Blaming RT for this issue is a bit ridiculous from my point of view.

Getting the wrong grid spot sucks. It also sucks to get the right grid position and get dive-bombed from someone who started 2 rows back in T1. One is a GT5 glitch, the other is dirty driving.

Did you ever see me calling out names here in the thread?

Please stop being so immature.

Thanks.
