Nice write-up. I decided to add my own post-race quotes in the comments. I was trying to find a clever way to refer to the lag and all I could come up with is the track being hot.

Kinda bummed I didn't save the replay.....I was clawing for everyone's draft when they passed me but still couldn't get good lap times, I felt like I was trying to climb up a wall of ice If we (by some odd chance) get a dlc pack with tracks would you be up for changing the tracks for season 3?

Some good news for our connection issues. The GT5 prologue servers are going down forever after June 30th. Hopefully, that'll increase the number of servers for GT5

You should definitely check out Mule's Lotus series. The 111R RM, much to my surprise, is a blast to drive and I am super psyched (yes, super psyched) for the championship after my 15th to 1st to 3rd performance in yesterday's pre-season race.

Cool thanks. I watched the replay up until the pit stops on lap 24 or whatever it was. I was in 3rd running behind Egg and Turbo. Egg and I were helping each other most of the race to that point, so I planning on following him into the pits to continue our alliance, but went ahead and followed Turbo in anyways. I recall you guys saying not to haul ass into the pit because you'll get glitched, which I would have forgotten had Turbo not slowed down into the pit entry. BUT, hes the one who got shafted. Not sure what happend but you hit the outer pit wall and ghosted/reset, while I passed you. My pit crew did fine, but I noticed Turbos crew was considerably slower. Once the lollipop was raised on my car, I instantly took off. When Turbo's lollipop was raised, he sat there for a good 3 seconds until he left. Not sure what happened there. I didn't see everyone's pit, but I think Egg took the cake for fastest pit stop. He fish tailed into the pits losing little time, and before his lollipop man raised it, he was off like a bat out of hell.

I was diagnosed before I went to Europe, but I had a small fainting problem last night when I pushed on it, and it almost happened again this morning at work. Looks like it's time to take it out. 👎

Also, TnJF (Dr Watson) and RedReevos: We all straight on your little battle that happened about 8-10 laps in? Noticed a lot of dive bombs and contact, just want to make sure...

We might do some practice races here and there, just keep an eye on this thread.

Also, it may sound trivial but could people refrain from blaring their horn all the time? Watching the replay and because MULE is sitting on the side of the track I can get some cool camera views from it, but the fact that he's blaring the horn all the time is ruining the shot.

I always get a chuckle watching the replay and myself and someone else are just blaring our horns at each other. I'm a chronic user of it as well as my headlights because they are just super easily accessible for me on my controller. Egg and I have always had horn battles, usually when one of us is being bump drafted by the other. Stig too! Sorry, just a habit

Dang it! I knew I told everyone about slowing down at pit entry and the inside corner but then forgot to mention that in order to avoid the wall, they should go all the way to the outside and crank the wheel before the AI takes over.

Wow! I only saw a glimpse of that when I was in the rear.

At least when I honk, I try to be creative. I've already done jingle bells, spanish flea, and la cucaracha.

I remember flashing someone during the race who was a lap down and they gave me room to pass. 👍

I was fully expecting you to come past me when you caught up. If we had a few more laps it could have turned into a more Spec Miata-like 3-way photo finish at the line

Thanks again for the push, a win is always nice, but as far as my championship was concerned it didn't matter if I finished 1st, 2nd, or 3rd.

I just watched the replay through and shot some good footage that I will be posting shortly. I also took the time to update the results sheet from Laguna with everyone's fastest lap times. 👍

Edit: Just uploaded quite a few new videos. I have a couple more just need to snap some screen shots to use for the video thumbnail. Sorry for the quality on some of them, my camera has auto focus and I can't shut if off. 👎
