I did my pit on the first lap and just had a lonely race for about 18 laps till I got out in between Egg and Brosif bumping me up to 8th.

From there I thought I could catch Egg but he really just took off nicely and caught up to the back of the first pack.

And I was smack dab in the middle of everything, I didn't have a single race. 25 lap time trial for me

But getting eighth was awesome enough considering the field.

Super congrats to Sam, he was the underdog but he really came up nicely and edged out RT by 0.009 thousandths of a second.

The four guys up front [Sam,RT,Welsh,pothead] seemed to've had an epic battle in the last 5 laps.

Awesome kick off for the season!

I'm glad this was a pre-season race. Someone was lagging really bad mid pack on the start in the B room and caused one heck of a cluster****, collected a bunch of cars before we got to the tunnel on lap 1.

Yea I went from first to fourth in the last lap. My only mistake in the race. LOL Great racing up front for sure. Turbo and I had a nice lead on everyone when we went into the pits but im not quite sure where that lead went after we came out. Pit crew FAIL.....

Absolutely. I did NOT take fuel, and even after my tires were changed and the car dropped to the ground, it just sat there. I was like, "Go!"

Also, would anyone be opposed to switching from Autumn Ring Mini to my Kart track, and just run a long race without a pit stop?

Yeah, it's not fair changing tracks after people decided to run NB partially because of the proposed track list.
So if there was a vote I'd vote to keep ARM for fairness sake, unless we allow people to change the car.
P.S. didn't try the NB on your kart track though, so might be a non-issue if NB would rule there.

Has a point but ARM is a bit of a boring track to race on in general. I would vote for the kart track made by RT. Close race with no pitting so tire management would need to be balanced with speed. I think I would enjoy it.

Also RT, can you send me a high resolution picture of the Flyin' Miata logo. Like a really high def one. About 700 pixels/inch?

I would just vote for a longer track.

I vote for one without much (bump) drafting. Sucks getting pushed off track and time trialling alone, making up 1s/lap on the back section, only to see them pull away every straight

Yeah, my strategy was to make the pass at the end of the lap. It would have worked had we not come across lap traffic that chose not to yield to the leading cars. He bumped me two or three times while I was trying to make my last ditch effort.

I think we're talking about two different drivers. One car was warping all over the track on the approach to the tunnel on lap 1, and caused a huge pileup at the back.

Other than that, I had a great race! Stayed out longer than most and made it to second place, until I eventually spun out after hitting the curb just following the tunnel. I let the front runners through and then pitted that lap, then had some really good racing and passing for the last third of the race.

I'll upload a replay later on tonight... for some reason it's taking ages to copy the file to my flash drive. I'll also post the final results of group B in a few minutes.

I just proposed changing the track because I saw a few complaints. I came up with another idea of splitting that race into two races. One 25 lapper forwards, then after a short brake doing another 25 lapper in the other direction.

Edit: Interesting fact I just realized, both races tonight were won by drivers using a controller.

If it was me, I'm sorry. No one has complained of me lagging before. I watched the replay....I seemed good, was clean going into turn two right behind Gravey,until someone shoved me out into the grass. There was only one car I saw jerking around, a black/dark grey with orange wheels behind me a couple of places.

Upset with myself for ending up 11th because of two offs all on my own. I was a little distracted by my kids running back and forth in front of me. I still had fun racing even if it was in the back of the pack.

Suzuka east practice race worked out well; I would vote for that. ARM is probably going to be a bump-fest.
