I wonder what ever happened to the 64 Collector's Edition GT5s that weren't awarded after the miserable failure known as Round 2.

It was actually 16 collectors editions, and they've been sent out. I got mine...

I thought the top 16 from each region at the end of Round 2 were supposed to get a Collector's Edition? It was only 16 total? How did they determine which 16? Not that it matters to me, I wasn't in the top 16 in my region.

Edit: So it was the top 16 in each region. I think I was 17th, and I would have been 11th if my personal best 17.3xx (??? I think that is right) wouldn't have gone red despite, in my opinion, it being a clean lap. Oh well, guess I shouldn't have let my frustration get to me.

Yeah you're right, 16 for each region. So yes, those that got them should have received it by now.

I dont think false starts is such a good idea. I mean for the unfortunate person who does get the penalty everyone behind them has to go into avoidance maneuverer. ive run into the back of false starters. at places like the nurburgring

Did any of you guys get an e-mail today from Sony thanking you for competing in GT Academy? (This question is obviously directed at those who participated in GT Academy.)

I just got one and it came with codes for four "exclusive" GT Academy XMB themes and a GT Academy racing suit for Playstation Home (probably a digital replica of the suit Turbo is going to get at Silverstone ).

Read the first page thoroughly. All info you need including registration format is there. Also make sure your NC matches the GT specs exactly.

Does that mean I have to have the body color carboon hood, or is the regular carbon hood acceptable? Beyond that I'm an exact match. I've read the OP more thoroughly now, I'll send/post my registration in a moment.

I'm recommending the colored hood for two reasons:

1) It looks better

2) We're duplicating an exact real-life car, of which it's hood is an unknown material.

I just realised I have aero on my car. I wont be ready in time for this week but I'll prep a car for next week (or season, even).

Pretty much its based on four laps in race mode ansvlaps 2 and 3 count .

Yeah, you can let them know when you're ready and depending on who got into the room first, you'll go in the order you came.

First of all: don't ever convince yourself you're going to do badly.

Second: you don't have to qualify today, there's also tomorrow.
