Force India VJM07 launch

The 2012 car looks the best, in my opinion. The platypus nose kinda messed it up but still looks great. The 2013 car fixed the nose but the Sahara logo is too small and the rims look a little darker.

In my opinion, the new car look kind of ugly but that's me. Obviously, I can't make a final judgement until I see the full car.

Here it is being unloaded in Jerez for this week's test. Nose unaffixed:

Looks even better in the flesh.

Claro like Total usually don't allow a color change it seems, so sadly it will be the red the sponsor uses for their logos everywhere else. Sadly some choices aren't left up to FI, just be glad Telmex isn't slapped on there, that blue wouldn't go at all with the rest of the scheme.

Yeah its the same reason why the JPL Lotus livery never looked totally perfect because of sponsors refusing to change brand colours. For the sake of consistency in a design I wish they would see that is better to change the colour so it looks professional and neat. People are not going to care what colour is it as long as its readable (if they are reading it!).

Joanne in accounting is going to be be lonely tonight...

If their intention of painting it black was to hide it, they failed. If anything...

Looking past the Big Black Thing on the nose, the livery is better than what HRT had in 2012. 👍

F1 is going to have censored broadcasts this year, horrible thing to see first thing this morning.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, there's going to be some uncomfortable looking Russian politicians present at the inaugrial Russian GP in October with all this flagrant manhood hanging out everywhere, enticing the young people into having unnatural urges! ;)

Dammit. My hopes just got destroyed to bits.

You have to hand it to them - those first images of the car did a good job of hiding the extreme length of the nose.

Force India have announced a strategic alliance with GP2 team Hilmer Motorsport, with the car to run in the same livery as the VJM07. Daniel Abt and Facu Regalia will drive.
