Formula 1 2016 Grand Prix Of Europe

So we've got one driver who claims that it's not worth much more than a video game, and eleven teams who see fit to keep investing in it. If it really was worth so little, why do they keep doing it?

Most people like pizza but some don't. Does that make those that don't wrong? No, because it's an opinion.

Same thing here. Gather some wood, build a bridge, and get over it.

And yet, teams have sent entire crews out to scan the circuit. It was noted that McLaren needed to re-scan parts of it because they didn't always get the width right. In particular, they seem to have been very good at getting the undulations and bumps right.

That's McLAren...and even they had trouble. The article shows both drivers found strange things with the track on the simulation.

Two driver said the simulation wasn't much more useful than what me and others quoted the article for, one of them claimed he could learn the stuff on a comp sim. Which isn't that strange, cause it makes sense. Also it's a bit of a rhetorical question if you ask why they keep doing it, if you don't know then it becomes an asinine one.

They do it because unlimited testing has been banned, and regular season testing gets decreased all the time, not only that CFD data collection has been nerfed, and so has wind tunnel hour times. These are all real world engineering testing, I would know this cause I'm an aero student that has to utilize similar stuff for projects. They invest cause the one factor that isn't limited is simulators, and thus if they keep doing it hopefully at some point it will be on par with real life.

I could say exactly the same thing about your post - that you should get over the fact that I don't like Hamilton and that I'm not going to shut up simply because you're not interested in hearing it.

I don't have a problem with you not liking Hamilton. I have a problem with how you react whenever someone challenges your views.

Or you could just no take any notice of someone you don't like. Constantly posting about what he says online multi media wise is you activity looking for ways to post what you post.

If you were expecting me to roll over and simply acknowledged that you have made the superior argument, then I sincerely hope that you are sorely disappointed.

Why are you purposely ignoring that he said it felt pointless for him personally, and that he acknowledged the team benefited more?

I forgot you have to start the race on these q2 tyres... going to be a lumpy start for "Fan Favourite" Hammo

The race is gonna be on tomorrow. Hamilton with the pace, Rosberg with the better tires. Finally the Hamilton v Rosberg Battle we've been waiting for!

EDIT: TO LMS: OK. I wasn't sure about that. Will the FIA allow it though?

It's up to Pirelli more than anyone else, they're the ones that would judge it and then the FIA would say "yeah we knew that..."

Again, that isn't what he claimed. He noted that the engineers learn from it. He said that as a driver trying to learn a track the simulator gives him very little.
