That this smoke bomb-throwing white trash-filled parking lot with a fake marina, warehouses and overpasses as scenery actually had a fairly enjoyable race was pretty surprising. That said, I can definitely do without all of the camera cuts to said smoke bomb-throwing white trash every couple laps, or cutting to David Beckham reacting to things.

Also, all of the photographs they use for the drivers (excepting Hamilton perhaps) are atrocious.

Redbull probably should think about replacing Perez. No one expected him to beat the Godlike Verstappen but how far he was back from the Ferraris was sad.

Lukewarm race on a lukewarm track, which met the expectations of the most lukewarmly anticipated GP, in recent times

I've definitely seen worse races. I actually think the DRS working against it a bit to be honest, it either needed to be that whole straight, or not there at all.

And maybe take the next grade up in tyres next year.

They should be ignored all together. There are enough people walking on the grid who actually have something useful to say.

I agree, nobody is interviewing celebs at any other sporting event.

I've said this previously, unless these celebs are about to give us 60 laps, there is no reason for them to be interviewed.

We saw this awkward ass **** with Meg Thee Stallion, interview drivers (retired or active) or bosses only

The pre race was something, the after race interview was something else....also, what is the deal with that Grand Prix? You'd think it's the first time ever that F1 was in the US.....that police escort to the podium is over the top...I don't even know what to say!!! I get that it's just for show but it just looks like a complete ****show to me from my point of view!

It's at least not as bad as the driver intros at COTA a few years ago

That police escort thing was just cringe, not fun at all.

I think the best phrase to describe this race is "Trying too hard".
Having Christian Horner and his girl group wife having to dive out of the way of the cops was fairly entertaining you gotta admit.

Just do what I do, tune in to the race 10 minutes before the start and turn off once all cars have crossed the line. I've never cared for pre-race at all and post-race stuff only if there was something really contentious during the race I want to see analysis of.

Who is the guy doing these interviews? He sounds a little drunk tbh.
First black (or African-American to use current parlance) to test an F1 car in the 80s.

I will always maintain, racing drivers are dull, with very few exceptions. Irvine was always good for a biting comment though. Ribbs did his best but sadly not a natural presenter.
Carlos with his shirt off bringing the heat
I thought drivers had to keep their overalls done up at all times?

The top three are now obliged to wear their racing suits in full after getting out of the car. During the ceremony and the interview immediately after the race, "the driver may only wear their racing suit, which is fastened to the neck and not on their waist."

At least it was just the intro....this GP has look like a farce from the start with the pre race show and even after the race they kept it going with a cringy post interview and even cringier escort to the podium

What's with these insulting moderators? No, I've been watching since Michael Schumacher was leading parades for like 6 years straight.
You clearly weren't watching today if you not only don't understand why Checo was off pace & "should be replaced", but why this wasn't the best GP of the season so far. A late SC is the only thing that really saved it.
