Don't worry guys, Hamilton will still be just as good without a dominant car! He'll finally get his eighth championship now that Masi is gone!
Mercedes has no sandbags, no sidepods, and no speed. Russell must be putting his garbage Williams experience to good use in that car.

Saying he had to be lifted rather than under his own power is worrying. I worry that Mick may have injury keeping him out a while. Glad he’s okay for the most part and talking.

I'm pretty sure there are G-Force sensors in the car and if it registers G over a certain point then they have to be extracted as a precaution, could be wrong there though. But I agree, it's not often that we hear of that happening and that makes it worrying for sure.

I don't think for extraction. They have a limit which requires a medical center visit though. Extraction will be done any time there is a possibility of certain injuries (especially back and neck), even if it is unlikely and the driver thinks he's fine.

Reddit commenter saying Steiner spoke to another network saying Mick spoke to his mom and has no visible injuries.

So it was probably the sensors in the car that determined the level the medical team had to use to remove him from the car. I guess.

Now also from Will Buxton: seems all ok, been taken to hospital for precautionary scans
