Last turn Jeddah where Lewis pushed Max off track. After Max have him the spot back.
And yes, Lewis hit Max at the back in Jeddah, no one could have missed that.

It is clear that Brits see all fault at Max, but Lewis supposed to be a saint.
I am not buying that.
Max is aggressive, but as one, and in my personal opinion one of the two best drivers ever said: If you no longer go for a gap, you aren’t a racing driver.

I don’t believe Lewis is much slower then George. They both could be 0.2 0.3 faster or slower then the other.
Lewis pulled a trick on his team, or he doesn’t get his car to operate in a window (kind of what Max has with the tires).

Thanks for not debating but trying to belittle.
It seems you haven’t matured since I got to know you in 2001…

Ah yes, and "all people from this country do this" is in fact the height of respectful maturity.

It is, of course, projection. You don't have to expend any energy whatsoever to find me criticising Lewis Hamilton for all sorts of things - I've even been labelled a Hamilton hater on this site - but you're fully on the "Brits worship Lewis" nonsense...

... while not being even slightly open to any error on behalf of your own countryman who pulled a 2.4G brake check on another driver, which even Helmut Marko admitted to.

Love it that Lewis didn’t pass Q1. Altough I hope he doesn’t push other people of track or hits them from behind, when he will race into the points tomorrow.
I think only Albon needs to be on alert 😂
Hamilton doesn't have a history of punting people to the shadow realm. He races fair enough.

Please point me into the direction where you ask me such a question. That would be simply lovely Famine.

That wasn’t a brake check, that was Lewis refusing to overtake and regaining his position. But it is clear that you and I have a different view on the race of last year.
I still stand with the belittling quote, it is quite present in you last responses… the “but you”
frame doesn’t rise maturity one bit.

I hope you can enjoy this years race (given the circumstances).
And wish you a lot of fun and enjoyment.

What question are you referring to?

Even. Helmut. Marko.

What "but you" frame? What even is a "but you" frame?

Quite why you're waving around "maturity" and "belittling" when you've dumped in an idiotic (and, as we've seen, projected) stereotype escapes me. Weird you think you're on the high ground when you're the person behaving insultingly...

They’re making the other permanent circuit and plan to be ready next year.
Building one yes but a 3 year run was planned at Jeddah Corniche Circuit until 2023 and this is already extended to 5 years. So we will probably see the move to the to be built permanent circuit in Qiddiya earliest in 2026. Track should be ready earlier and maybe even ready to the planned date in 2024 but since it will be part of an amusement park (Six Flags Quiddiya) and mall + restaurants and so on, surrounded by other buildings like hotels, etc. they will give these surroundings two more years to get built.

And yes, the rock formation in the background is there where it will be built and they're planning to run the track under a very huge waterfall: https://goo.gl/maps/64wFiBTpnSoiWHMa9

That's sportswashing for you - massive spectacle to distract from dreadful human rights record and appalling, discriminatory laws for women, homosexuals, and apostates. Hopefully F1 takes the threat of being held hostage seriously.

In other news, Verstappen apparently crossed the solid white line at pitlane entry in Q1 but did not pit - which is against the rules. This was "noted" by Race Control, but no-one seems sure what's going on with it...

That looks cool and all. But, can we please get the track done & ready for racing before they start adding all those theatrics?

I mean, seeing all that stuff gives me The World Islands vibes where the track will get done, and then just be bare bones & uninteresting as all the surrounding projects run into funding issues.

Probably unsure what the rule book says. I mean, why would anyone read it?

Update from Mick.

Guenther confirming to no surprise he will not be racing tomorrow. There is an image of Mick being pulled out of the car available now. Nothing awful, just wearing a neck brace & being lifted out by a team of medics, I assume as more precaution than letting him out on his own.

I mean it's not South Korea. Six Flags is building an amusement park and they will include a F1 race track. Building is already underway. Motorways are completed so trucks can reach the building site. I mean we know the circumstances why they will be quick...

That's fine, it's just the gist I got from your information was that the track could be done and race ready by 2024, but they'll wait 2 more years to actually go racing when all the parks & tourist attractions are built.

I would just like to see them leave behind this street circuit for the new venue as soon as they can is all, really.

Honestly, this track just doesn’t sit well with me. There are way too many high speed sections with walls close to track and blind corners, someone will die at this circuit sooner than later imo. I hope they never come back here.

Indeed, F1 tracks shouldn't have blind corners like this especially in the high speed sections. And then there's the missiles. How is this an F1 grade circuit, other than $$$.

In the modern world, $$$ is the essence of everything good. GP racing was invented in the early 20th Century by the manufacturers and national automobile clubs to sell cars to an increasingly mobile public. But GP racing was shut down during WWI and WWII. The success of GP racing today is a signal that commercial times are good. But to continue with GP racing when the fires of war are within sight of the circuit is a sign of mental illness and emotional distress that is unsustainable.

Of course it does. As well as sportswashing, it's marketing. There's no catch fences spoiling the view, the footbridge over the track only has a waist high wall... The images completely ignore the practicalities of holding an F1 event.

Though I do quite like that even in the official artist's impressions the stands aren't full and most of the people depicted aren't paying any attention to the race.

I was thinking the exact same thing when i saw those renders. My favourite section is the overhanging pool bit. What happens if a car is vaulted into that thing?

People have an exaggerated opposition to the acres of runoffs that most tracks need to have these days, all up to the points where a track like this proved why it is necessary.

In more ways than one, I have a lot of concern for the drivers this weekend.

Is that a 1992 Ferrari and a 1999 Stewart about to into the world's bendiest DRS zone? You've even got the guy at the bottom pointing out the anachronistic Ferrari.

Saudi Arabia has a history of being behind the times, and not just in the human rights department either.
