Hey you copy cat, I have all those. lol!
Oh I have other consoles too

And about the restoration, you could do two ways:

- Do particular races to unlock the parts needed, maybe scrounge wreckage too.

- If impatient you could pay (in game credits) a fair whack of cash to skip it.

However for searching for parts you'd earn more 'rep' or whatever. Sort of like how you can restore a car IRL lol

That's actually exactly what I started thinking about is some races to win parts. Maybe you find the car find a part race for a part then pay to finish the process or something like that.

Once again they're not capitalizing on Forzavista for whatever reason. It can be so much more than it is now, something akin to an actual showroom would be fantastic a game like Horizon, and yet it's just there to be left stagnant.

I'll never understand some of the odd choices made concerning both games.

If T10 and PG were to stick with what they have an improve on it, they'd have so many awesome features and maybe more cars in their games.

Especially with the car meet thing they have going on.
People could be showing off their supercharged engines and massive turbochargers. The possibilities are endless.

Ah thank you I forgot they are leaving that out such a shame I really liked it in FM4.

Agree'd. Just like the showrooms in tdu2. Walk around, open the car up, sit in it, rev engine, see the colour options etc. With Forzavista detail that would of been awesome.

when you add those to cars in FM5 you can no longer open the engine bays in Forzavista. The amount of turbo, supercharger and engine combos to render would eat up time and space better used else where.

As awesome as it would be to see (& even up to TDU2's levels which were perfect), I can understand it. T10 themselves need to continue polishing it up for the Motorsport series before I think PG should go in and get it setup to suit their game (as they have to do with other little details).

I hope they haven't forgotten about Darius. Maybe a short cinematic near the beginning of the game in which he's been busted down to a parking valet begging for tips.

Actually the street racing guy was just about the only story character who wasn't a complete douchebag in the last game but of course the racing interests me more than the story. I also hope they don't Burnout Paradise things this time and have a return to start option on all races.

That's just it - polish it how? As much as I love the feature it's only ever going to be an accessory in the main series; a proverbial saturation point. In Horizon it could actually be built into an integral part of the game experience, largely because the game itself can beckon (and benefit from) such a feature.

If the main series wants to keep the technical nuances, then that's fine, but to not use the feature in an environment where it could clearly benefit is a setback the more it's not used.

I know, but imagine what forzavista could become one day. Now that materials can be applied to anything, we could make polished engine blocks, exhaust headers and what not. It would fit Horizon, maybe one day. lol

There's still some qualms people have such as not every car having the same fully functioning parts or the repetitiveness of the voice dialogue each manufacturer gets. Some wish you could move the car around more in the garage.

It's minor details, but it's also minor details Playground is already having to implement into the cars to get them looking right for their world. If this means them having to also tweak Forzavista in addition to suit what they want out of it, I don't fault Playground for holding off on it. I agree though that it would perfectly set here, esp. when the game is already citing PGR vibes from previewers.

I might pick this up, I'm curious to see how much better the XBox One version looks compared to the 360 version.

It's going to be tough to go back to playing with a controller instead of a wheel. My wheel isn't compatible with the 360. :(

I usually never buy in-game credits but race for them, and especially parts. :D

get

Please don't take this too seriously

They're has been speculation that the Xbox one version may have limitations because of it's big brother Xbox 360, will they're be open wheel in this game ? As far as Ariel Atom, KTM, or Caterham ?

The 360 version will be limited in terms of no drivatars, noweather and running of the horizon 1 engine while the X1 version runs off the Forza 5 engine, as those cars are in Forza 5 I don't see why not
