What is the strange advanced paint of X-BOW GT4?
I thought this was a thing of livery that was used in FM7, but it was a clearly different design compared to the actual one.

Any of the Formula Drift cars should help. The Viper is by far the most popular to use, but I like using the #777 240SX.

Trust me, I have tried. I am just that bad at it haha.

On another note. Going frim the Type C Jaguar to the new KTM feels like going from Ice to driving on Velcro

I suck at drifting too buy I have completed most by using the viper, manual gears set to 3rd or 4th and tc off. Not fun but jobs done :)

Wait, you've got the C Type already?
EDIT: Disregard. My brain was telling me today was Wednesday. I've got the C Type now.

2956 Great news. I use a wheel and often get invited by members to something, free zone, but the button I use for play or enter wont get me there, bummer.

2597 Does your picking expert vs highly skilled for solo race have any impact on who you are paired with when doing co-op races?

So far, I've not noticed points being added after the season transition.

They aren't, I had 200 last night and 200 tonight, after having completed the bonus. I noticed this a couple of weeks ago, not sure what that's about.

I really like the shifting animation on the new C-Type.

Your character's hand and the very visible gear lever are basically in separate postcodes:

It's weird seeing a car with a number plate that has no Brake Lights.

Imo race cars shouldn't be on Horizon keep it to road legal stuff, it looks stupid, I'll take their engines though lol.

But it has taillights at the bottom corners...

The taillights and exhaust are swapped places from the Ferrari Enzo.

Personally I like track cars being in Horizon, (Extreme) Track Toys being some of my favorite racing divisions.

Track cars have always been in Horizon though. The FXX was also in the first game.

Imo SUVs shouldn't be in Motorsport keep it to race stuff, it looks stupid.

See what I did there? (Not that I have a problem with SUVs, mind you)

That's what I mean. Like...I know that T10/PG aren't able to please everyone with the car lists in either series, but some people's desire to see basically any interesting and fun cars on either side of the fence gone is just so weird. Like...isn't that what we praised GT for so long ago, the variety of interesting vehicles? So why are track day cars in Horizon and SUV's/trucks in Motorsport so 'off limits' so to say?

I agree, but I couldn't care less about the motorsport series.

Plenty of variety without race cars, but that's just my opinion on it, I would prefer something more similar to TDU then another Forza Motorsport game, the Festival stuff isn't to my liking but they have slowly started to realise this as it's less about Festivals in each Horizon.

The thing is This car took a spot on the car pass that could of gone to another car, if it was already in the game I wouldn't have an issue with it, I Just wouldn't use it.

There still is plenty of variety, but people including myself would still be annoyed if we couldn't have fun driving such track cars in the game. Also, Test Drive Unlimited 1 & 2 both had track day cars. TDU1 had the Mclaren F1 GTR Shorttail and there was an Audi A4 DTM car added as a dlc car. TDU2 iirc had a Ferrari FXX and a 599 XX in it.

Yeah it sure did, Also had the Mustang GTR Concept race car, in TDU 1 but in both they actually had race tracks you could actually race on, this game doesn't.

Horizon on the other hand comes off as a confused game with little direction, but it's significantly better made.

I think "track" versions of road cars, like the Zonda R or the FXX, are perfectly suited for Horizon.

It's the straight up race cars like the GT4 X-Bow or the GT cars from FH3 that are complete wastes of space in Horizon.

Yeah, I wonder why people didn't take so well to the quirky DLC trucks and SUVs that were all banned from online use in FM7. Funny that.

Uh huh, I know that. However, the fact of the matter is that players were still able to drive those cars in free roam and in races throughout the game. Keeping certain cars confined to Motorsport imo is just plain stupid.

That's your opinion, and this is mine.

Honestly, car variety is kind of a moot point in Horizon where every car is just a platform for V12 AWD swaps.

Or the occasional V8 AWD swap for the drift community.
Or just modifying the original engine that is unique to that car since everything is possible.

That's 99% of my builds, yes.

It's too bad the game's balanced around engine swaps and AWD.
Which wouldn't be a bad problem if they had it like they had before where the engine swaps that are available come from the same family as the car you got, now every car gets offered a WRC Spec 1.6L Turbo a LS3 and a Aventador V12.

What would be the point in keeping them road legal? This is a game where you're encouraged to drive through speed cameras as fast as possible, jump off mountains into cities and you can rewind time. It's about having fun, not being realistic.

And it's now 100% complete :) (missing % are the 4 cars from Car Pass not unlocked yet)
I had to dig way more back in my post history than i believed...
As teased earlier in the thread, i just added a new section on K' FH4: Car Masteries and Perks.
The logic here is that we select a perk, then we have a list of all known Perks Grids grouped by the given perk rank, then we can list all known cars having that grid(s):
View attachment 778633
The K' database currently includes 77.2% of all car masteries grids. That's basically my garage, but the more i advance, the more difficult it is to complete the grids. If someone want to contribute, sharing a pic of the screen of any missing car Mastery grid by any way (but not in this thread), it would be welcome (by all, i guess).

Also,
1. In the main car list, cars with a known car mastery have a triangle after their name.
2. On a car page with a known car mastery, there's a button to see other cars with the exact same grid.
