Yep, it did, as far as I can remember that's been in there since FM4( or was it FH1?)

They also did the Mitsubishi Debonair AMG prior to that.

Wow never knew this. Why does Forza not include the complete kit for cars? It's baffling to me. We have the AMG front bumper, but not the rest? I was checking out the 2003 Audi S4 and hooking it up with the Oettinger kit....every part except the rear bumper. Why do they do this?

Galant AMG kit other than side panel and hood is available.
(Galant AMG had a trim level called "Type II" with the same side panels as the stock)

Front Bumper - Type 1
Side Skirt - Stock
Rear Bumper - Type 1
Rear Spoiler - Type 1

In FM4, many of the body kits were available in the complete kit.
But when they modified the model for the sake of FM5, they probably deleted many of these for schedule reasons.
For example, Mitsubishi Evo 6 and others originally had aftermarket rear bumpers and so on.

Hopefully they'll learn their mistake and just give it away like the Mosler.

I mean I’m sure if they did it get more praise vs complaints of those who really worked for it.

Put it this way, I would like it to happen haha

It seems the AI has not realised Mitsubishi's back... they're all driving Subarus still in modern rally.

I have seen two or three of them in a modern rally race. Not quite up there with Impreza count but it was something. Also had the pleasure of seeing the Galant driving around in free roam.

Did the taxi missions tonight, and boy, was that a thing. That offroad taxi is a pain in the neck to drive - it reminds me of when people make "jelly cars" in Forza. The standard taxi is a pain to drive for the reason most un-tuned, old cars are a pain. The limo was sliding all over the place.

And the dialogue during the missions was just bleh. They need to give you the option to skip the pre-mission chatter. It's fine if your driving game has crummy, unremarkable characters - but for the love of God, at least don't force me to listen to it then! Do they really think Isha is such an awesome new character that you just NEED to listen to her babble about being stressed and forgetful or whatever 10 times? And that dialogue during the last mission? Woof.

I can handle bland characters in Forza Horizon - I've been doing it for several years now. The racing is what matters, not whatever name plate occasionally pops up in the corner, denoting someone talking. Just give us the option to skip the unskippable babble please!

But hey, I finally got the taxi, so I can check that off the list at least.

There is nothing new, but it is a good change that they added a prize car to Forzathon Shop. Of course there is no limit. As long as we have FP, we get Limo.

But the Hot Wheels Rip Rod can be won in a seasonal event.
Here's a filtered list of allowed cars (100-600 IP R&C)
I just tried it: it's a PvP championship made of 4 drag races. I quickly load a setting C-600 for the Bel Air but it didn't go very well.
The first race is the Horizon Festival drag race, if you want to use it as a based for preparing before entering a champioship:

The races are longer and longer, until the last one starting from the North on the highway, requiring a good high speed too:

I tried it in the stock Hoonigan Bel Air. It went even worse for me. I'm afraid this is going to be a hard one to win if I have to beat all 11 of the other cars to get the Rip Rod.

What better way to welcome back Mitsubishi than to do the Weekly Forzathon in one :)

I only just noticed that the Rip Rod requires you to come 1st in a PVP drag racing championship. Really? Have they not learned from their previous mistakes?
I guess it could be worse... I can deal with Drag Racing as long as it's not X-Class.

I continued to tune it and test it:
i just shared a [RODS AND CUSTOMS] 1932 Ford DE LUXE FIVE-WINDOW COUPE settings, the only one under the creator name "Milouse" for that car, the one to win the Rip Rod.
It is important to turn TCS Off and play manual gear (that's a 200-300 ms gain on the first race finish line), and to shift to second gear very soon.
Be careful with the last race on the Highway, you can do it full trottle all the way to the finish line but only if you take good trajectory (as the car will drift, it's important to turn early in the last right turn)

Great tune! Won all 4 races on first attempt with it, thanks!

First Ranked Solo. Won championship! Despite not winning any of the 5 races.

In the end (and I don't say it because I won), I think these solo rankeds are better than the team ones. For multiple reasons, ranging from that if you win, it's your credit and not that (in some cases) your team carried you + if you lose, it's your own fault and not that some people just drove bad (like happened to me in the Ranked Team prior to that solo, where I had a teammate going afk and driving poorly); to the fact that there seems to be less "rammers" over there, as if you ram, you gonna lose time and places from gaining just the one you get from the ram itself, cleaner races so. Which overall it was the impression we got in the "what you would improve" thread.

Still no penalties for wallriders, but the Solo thing alone is already an improvement, I think.
Only thing I don't like atm of these Solo, and probably the reason why I won, is that you have to do a full 5 races championship. I think that for Solo a 3 races would fit better. But it's still ok.

Here a video of the Ranked Solo, if you're interested to.

Agreed, it's very good, but I haven't won with it yet. Tried it three times so far and my best series was a 5th, 1st, 2nd, and 1st and I came in second overall 66 points to 70. I'm not used to shifting manually so it's taking me some time to get used to it.

Thanks so much for the tune man!

Got my beloved Rip Rod in the first championship. :)

Even the guy trying to ram me off Greendale Air Strip couldn't stop me!

I can see them giving the Rip Rod away to everyone like they did with the Mosler. I first entered with a 600pp Hoonigan Bel-Air and got thrashed by all the 1932 Fords, so for my second attempt I made my own tune and won every race.

The reason they gave away the Mosler was the Trial reward glitch that hasn't really been fixed since launch.

So I don't see them giving the Rip Rod away as a gift message.

In other news, this week's Fortune Island championships also all come pre-completed and can't be repeated (if you've done them last month). Love this "new content every week" approach.

I'm thinking they never intended to have ongoing seasonal events on Fortune Island, beyond the first month. None of the promo material for this "season" seems to mention new seasonal events on FI, that I've seen.

Did they ever confirm FI was going to have seasonal events running alongside the main game the entire time?

Of course, downside of this (if true), is that it's one less reason to go back to the expansion island once you've completed everything. They really need to add a multiplayer hopper for Fortune Island events.
