I wasn't actually sitting on it, but rather didn't have a picture handy and expected someone to post it before I got around to it



I wouldn't take it too personally, it happens to me too. Sometimes I'll take a photo that I think is amazing and it instantly gets buried at 0, sometimes I'll take something I think is decent and it'll hit 200+ upvotes. The popular stuff at the minute appears to be one guy who overly edits their shots and posts them constantly (bad IMO), and another who posts old vs new pics (good IMO). There's no real rhyme or reason to what others like. Just take something you are happy with and share it, regardless of how it's received.

Thanks for the tips and suggestions! It does seem that the Forza Subreddit can be quite cruel at times.

I wouldn't say it's so much cruelty as it is people's tastes not lining up. Photography, and art in general, are ridiculously subjective - a shot you love might be a shot someone else hates. A quote I've always loved is "you could be the ripest, sweetest, juiciest peach in the world, but there will still be people who don't like peaches". There's not necessarily anything wrong with what you do, just sometimes people don't like it.

For any photographers, at times, the Forza Subreddit can be quite cruel to you. I got instantly downvoted straight after I posted a photo of the 2017 Ford GT. This happens nearly every single time I upload anything on that Subreddit.

You got downvoted because it's not a Skyline.

The newly announced season pass cars not currently being visible in-game combined with the small file size makes me think this was just the patch to address garage limit etc.

I just bought a La Ferrari with my limit at 550 cars so I think it was.

Ah that's right, I actually forgot about that. Not that it was hard to get money in any of these games, though. FM6 had me sitting on millions, and was gaining more than I was spending, I think FM7 was a lot more mellow in that regard, in a good way in my opinion.

True that FM6 prize spins were overly generous and not proportionate with the number of cars and the pricing of these. However, the idea of completely scrapping the jackpot chance for FM7 was too drastic in my opinion. The purple credit slots in Horizons Spins would actually balance perfectly into the FM7 economy with something like a 20% chance of getting them when levelling up.

A lot of those I forgot weren't included.

I think many people forget when saying that FH4 has the best car list so far. Fair enough if someone genuinely thinks so, but sacrifices were obviously made - for now.

It’s real but very old, as in from before the game was finalised. Don’t be surprised if most of those are FH3 leftovers that aren’t actually coming, but also don’t be surprised if there cars that come out that weren’t in that list.

@TokoTurismo The Forza Monthly stream starts in about 5 minutes.

@ShakesMcQueen All you have to do for the X and D class races is start a PvP Showdown Drag(that's a specific kind of race where slower cars get a head start) event that people can join. People generally join drag events. And you do one race using a D class car, and another using an X Class car. That's it.

Ahh okay, thanks. I was constantly driving up to people and trying to challenge them, and they'd decline 100% of the time. I eventually just gave up because I couldn't be bothered, but it's bugging me that it's the one achievement I have left.

One could assume this issue is related to the new garage limit update. Have you managed to obtain other cars from spins since the patch?

Yes. I got two other cars during that same wheelspin session and got both. My total cars is 530, so those three cars would have been under the old cap anyway.

Yeah, the fact that the Model S and the two Rolls-Royces are in there tell me that most of the entries on that list are gonna be no-shows (though the fact that the DAF TurboTwin has never been in any Forza – or any game at all to my knowledge – gives me hope it's coming).
