and after I said that, I decided to try one more time and I actually managed to win the Hoonigan RS200. Now I just have to do online adventure to get 100%.

I've been pretty lucky so far this week with teammates, but I do get the feeling my luck's about to run out... I blitzed through both the Playground Games and Trial in one attempt.

Speaking of new cars, what's the story with the Raptor Ranger? I thought I saw one on the road yesterday, may have been an aftermarket grille to be honest. Usually when Forza adds cars you hear about it the day/day before release, or now a week in advance with Forza Monthly. The Ranger was announced at Gamescom, you could have made an educated guess in July with the Xbox ranger at Goodwood, yet we haven't herd a peep since Gamescom. Its odd when new unreleased cars like the Z4 turn up out of the blue, yet the pre game launch specially announced Ranger is nowhere to be seen 7/8 months on.

What if you own all the cars already? The only thing that would keep me playing at this point is new cars to win.

If they put something like the Golf R we have now in the Forzathon Shop I bet there would be people who'd rather farm wheelspins to try and win the car instead.

100% for everything (dailies, Online Adventure, etc.) needs something equally special. The team does have some special cars they could bring over from FM7, though.

Finished my ranked placements last night (solo rather than team adventure) and was sitting on 99% season completion, 49% monthly completion.

Man, adventures are savage. Just now in my 9th qualifying adventure I saw a number of red on blue incidents where people were desperately trying to take each other out constantly, I've seen fights before but not literally every player (except those in the lead who escape it all) at every turn on every race. In the Bowler - bold choice for class A winter road racing - I was the biggest car there so I helped put an end to a few incidents (and blue team players' races, but they shouldn't be so aggressive in the first place when they're surrounded by cars from the opposing team), fortunately we managed to overcome their dirty tactics to take the win in the end after being 2-0 down in the first two rounds - it helped that one of our players quit in round 3 to even out the teams (they were down to 5 before the first race started) because being 6v5 isn't the advantage you'd assume it to be.

Edit: Just done my 10th round, I'm in league 14 but the rewards screen still says I'm not ranked. Is this one of those things that just takes time to update?

And I got the 914/6, immediately turned it into yet another drift car.

You guys are still trying to play Team Adventure as if it was Free-For-All. In Team Adventure you're actually encouraged to disrupt your opponent's race, so your team wins more easily.

It sucks, of course, but this is Horizon after all. I only realized this when I saw the AI ramming me off the road in The Trial.

If everyone already has the Hudson, don't bother trying to obtain it and only focus on the Mustang next season. This is what I also plan to do too, since I already have it.

Also, just the 914/6 as well. So happy right now. Luckily for next season I won't have to do the Trial. :)
Congratulations to those who managed to get the 914! You guys have way more willpower than me.
To be honest with you. You have to be REALLY lucky to plow through the events available. For example, in Playground Games, some teammates on both sides were driving RWD cars on dirt. It was also very little of people as well.

And in the Trial I was blocking the Drivatars to let my team catch up. It was crazy haha! :P

Not sure why but I keep getting disconnected from my online adventures lately. Super frustrating when you worked hard to get the win but get disconnected right before the rewards screen lol

Going to try and get to 50% at least tonight before Autumn comes tomorrow, I'm at 34% and I have tried doing some of the online stuff for the first time in this game, I'm nearly up to level three in the online adventures stuff, haven't done the Playground stuff nor the PR stunts.

@MUSC4EVER ignore the rivals and adventure stuff for now if you haven't finished summer yet, you've got three weeks to do those so you might as well concentrate on the summer stuff. I don't know if you need to win the multiplayer stuff or not but you should be able to do the other stuff in an evening.

So the 914, nothing extraordinary in terms of visual upgrades, tyres can be spaced out and it’s got the usual Porsche/Subaru Flat engine swaps including a new addition in form of the 3.3 Turbo F6 from the Whaletail 911 turbo. 👍

And like that 911, it’s also got the 300k perk in the same place. :P

I gotta admit. Even though I voiced my opinion about the playlist, getting the 914/6 was such a joy after being lucky throughout the summer season. 👍 I at least for next season I can take it easy by getting just the mustang, than next will focus on getting both cars.

Cheers friends. See you next season.

Getting a Ranked Adventure qualification is the only thing that separates me and the lil' old boxy Porsche, but alas, I seem to always get disconnected upon finishing the fifth event of any Adventure. Anyone has any idea what's going on here? :boggled:

@A_Spud seems to be happening to a lot of people, I was lucky in that it only happened to me once in the first four adventures I did. It seems like once you reach level 3 and start on your ten ranked adventures (that's how you actually qualify, so you need to do at least 13-14 adventures) the problem goes away, I didn't get disconnected once in those ten rounds and someone else said something similar in this thread.

It took me 45 minutes to get into a team games adventure today. Either not enough people joined the games, or once I selected my car I would get dropped out of online. Over and over again. How can PG make this a requirement when it works so poorly?

The option to skip a few of the daily challenges is to me the best news. Having to do 7 gave me this fear of missing one of them, so I played more frequently than I wanted just to be sure.
