I just can't believe what a baffling decision PG made when they decided to scrap monthly DLC in favour of this playlist thing. They must think that everyone has all day, every day to grind for these exclusive prizes. They must also assume that everyone has Gold. So, no Apollo or Mini JCW 2012 for me as they're locked behind co-op events.
I agree with you on cars being locked behind co-op events (online only) but I do disagree on the grinding part. I got to 80% in just two hours of playtime.

I was just reading how the Isle of Man track would be bigger than Goliath, I'm trying not to have high hopes but I'm gunning for Isle of Man yet.

It would be almost like a whole new game...

All I can say is that you must be one hell of a driver if you can get 80% in two hours. I spent over 6 hours obtaining 38% last week trying to get the Austin Traveller.

Sending out a request here: if any of you guys are great drivers and have been able to acquire these exclusive cars and have some to spare, I will happily send across an Amazon gift card in exchange. Otherwise, not sure if I'll ever be able to get them unless PG decide to eventually make them available to everyone via the dealership.

Perhaps your plan will fail, so I recommend that you wait for the opportunity to get those cars back.
It might be a good idea to save the FP, as those cars may be sold like Levante at the Forzathon Shop.

The auction system of FH4 is garbage. And demand is always above supply.
Even if the seller responds to your request, it will probably be stolen by someone else.
This system is not at all suitable for exclusive car trading.

The Mustang vs Camaro Playlist race proved rather easy. I used a 65 Mustang (I uploaded my set up). Worst of the three races was a win by 4 seconds. Best a win by 20 seconds!

The 79 Camaro is the only one that can get rally tires and stay in B-Class, fyi. It's the slowest thing in a straight line, but you have all the grip in the world!

I was brave and took my Mk 1 Transit for the Ute championship (It's only restricted to Vans/Utility and not just Utes like the article said).

It was a challenge, but it was fun :)

So after a few days I'm finally back under 1,000 skill points. I do NOT want to do that again.

The other problem now though is that I have over 900 wheelspins and only 1 or 2 slots free in my garage. I've also reached my sell limit for today which really sucks.

My hope is that, based on the timing and when the expansions for FH3 were unveiled and released, Playground both unveil and release the second expansion on the same day during the Microsoft E3 conference. It's a 99% bet that we, at minimum, get a trailer or gameplay demo.

As for the setting, if that rumour is true, I might say Minecraft - but I don't know what they'd do with that setting, that wouldn't require an almost ridiculous amount of new asset work for a mere expansion.

Microsoft's E3 conference is probably gonna be bananas this year. New console(s), new next-gen Halo gameplay (probably), possible new Fable unveil, Horizon expansion, news on whatever some of their new studios are making, Project xCloud, and who knows what else. Plus they are the only game in town this year for third party reveals, so they'll have buckets of those probably too.

And new Battletoads!

Unless they are rare or expensive, I just bin all of my duplicates. I highly recommend it.

Whatever the expansion ends up being, it will have to be compatible with the existing cars, so I highly doubt it will be Minecraft or Lego. I'm hoping for Dakar.

Whoever decided the Mustang vs Camaro championship should be dirt has a decent sense of humor.

I liked it. It brought back memories of learning to drive on dirt roads and in a couple old 70s RWD cars (not a Mustang or Camaro, though). As for the FH4 version I used the stock '69 Camaro as it was my best handling eligible car.

Random aside. I'm not the only one who bought the haunted house and then used photo mode to look in the windows for a ghost, am I? I can't be.

Maybe if my character stays there a while his hair will turn white.

Grand Tour Maybe or Top Gear?

This was my thought too, Top Gear would work especially well given the UK setting. If they recreated loads of old challenges and races it would certainly feel like a whole new game but would also work well as an expansion.

Either that or a Tesco expansion. You can sit in a car park and rev your engines but the only car you're allowed to use for the DLC is a Corsa.

Top Gear actually makes quite a bit of sense when you think about it. They've done car packs for like every Forza game since FM4. It's set in the UK and there's already a relationship there like there was with Hot Wheels (est in FM6)

Sure, it's not the same since the big 3 left, but it's still a big brand (globally-known IP for sure), and if they can leverage that IP then it's a win win for both sides.

Doing crazy, longer form challenges in crazy cars like the leaked DAF Dakar Truck sounds plausible. Not sure what the location would be though.

Didn't Ralph Fulton also hint at working with a "magazine which shall not be named" or words to that effect?

Either way, I think Top Gear makes a lot more sense than something like Minecraft, Lego or Hot Wheels 2: Electric Boogaloo

Maybe there will be a new Story where you take photo ops of cars. You drive to the location without taking major damage and, depending on the condition/time to get to the location, you will get ranked.

Just thinking off the top of my head, Top Gear obviously goes to locations all over the world, so a dedicated expansion would give legit reason to introduce a whole new map (or maps) of locations not necessarily connected to the UK region in any other way. It could certainly feel like a whole new game with a Dakar rally, Amazon jungles, or frozen tundras to explore for example. I'm not getting my hopes up, but it all kind of makes sense in my shoddy mind. :D

Maybe its James Bond expansion that plays in london where you do crazy car chasing in the city and on the roofs. They also say its the biggest expansion yet so the can make a mini london. I remember they said in a interview that london was too big to make it a part of the base map because it wouldn't do it justice.
