Dude, if they let you build your own house, you better believe I'll end up spending like six hours on it, haha.

I must say I already like it better than Hot Wheels. Except for the house bit, because collecting all those pieces will take too long. I'm more interested in completion really, unless you can actually build a custom house.

They are locking the car back behind the challenge.
Yeah, the same as Fortune Island ...

To get fired up for the LEGO expansion, I reinstalled Brick Rigs on Steam and downloaded a bunch of custom cars to play around in :)

The community for that game is extremely talented, you should check them out.

It looks like PG is continuing to expand on the idea of long-term progression, much like the Star Cards. Now I wonder if we will only have the three LEGO cars, or will there be more?

Do the Star Cards actually do anything useful? I saw the reward for doing them and immediately ignored them.

I don't get the Star Cards at all. One of them says I've only discovered 63 of 531 roads. Except I've long since found all 531 roads.
From Patch Notes 1.308.829.2
If players have discovered all roads on both the main land, and Fortune Island, the road stat will show an incorrect total number of roads driven. This will be addressed in a new update shortly.

Now, making a little house out of Lego parts? How old does Playground think we are? :D

It would have been neat if you could build it yourself to be honest, but it’s just preset progression, kinda like how upgrading your festival in FH3, just in a couple more stages.

About the release date, I assume that’s the 13th at midnight? I might stay up late to give it a try, really excited about giving it a try.

I finally won a Trial proper, 3-0 and with a rental Civic! :gtpflag:
I managed to come I first all three rounds, with about one other player coming in third and 2nd in each other round and won it on my first try. I used my A800 Mugen Crx and the other had an NSX in A800 as well, but literally the whole rest of the class had stock Civics, which all came in last place practically. If it wasn’t for the other guy with an A800 car we would have definitely lost, the guys in the stock cars didn’t do much, making it a bit frustrating even if we did win.

It's funny how it worked for our team. Yes, a couple of drivers had A800 NSXs and they attacked and dispersed the Drivatars (like sharks), and us little fishes took advantage of that. Our NSXs won, we all placed mid pack (we had the usual quitter) but ahead of 2-3 red team drivatars, and I did my best to cover any teammate ahead and be a mobile chicane.

The stock cars didn’t lose outright, but each race was definitely closer than it should have been  We wouldn’t have been able to even help the slower cars because the first AI was just too fast for the stock vehicles since it was an A800 AI as well, so I just had to let it ride out and believe in them.
