Had a rather interesting glitch in this race. I had a very good run in my CTS-V rally car, nailed every jump/landing/turn, and I guess the AI went Full Warp to keep up with me, and they kept missing a checkpoint at the 95% mark. I finally advanced the screen after around 20 minutes of idle time (I went off and cooked some dinner). View attachment 829984

This is at Unbeatable difficulty, mind you.
Throwing oddball cars into rally courses always makes for undesirable Ai lol. They can't cope with the offroad physics, especially if the car just wasn't built for that sort of thing.

Something sort of similar happens when you put older muscle cars into a race in a higher class like A - S. They'll have great speed, but super soft suspension causing them to break traction constantly. It looks absolutely ridiculous because the amount of body roll is so over the top.

There's something weird going on with the danger sign... I've got a PB of over 800ft in the Agera RS, but I can't get anywhere near 700ft using the same car for this seasonal. It's like it doesn't get any hang time, it just drops like a brick.

I have noticed a 20 mph sudden drop that occurs at the edge of the danger sign. By my estimate I need to hit it at 150 mph to compensate, and at angle, to booth. I may need to build an AWD, 1000 hp alll terrain abomination!

I noticed that too. Problem is there's absolutely no way to control a car or truck going 150+ down that path...

And yet, I've somehow done it before.

This time, I used the Funco F9 for the danger sign. The first time, I found the danger sign by complete accident, bounding some 200 mph across the countryside in one of the FE Lambos.

Getting close to the Finale, just have to get the harder Skills challenges out of the way now.

Just curious, who has the Finale unlocked yet? No spoilers, I want it to feel more rewarding when I unlock it :)

I just won the Trial using a Fulvia, against a full field of various Deltas...

Edit: a FWD Fulvia, I should add.

 Well played, old chap.

I was pleased that I managed to handily win one of the races. We obliterated the AI teams.

Recently rewatched the Fortune Island expansion trailer and found these : the Shelby F-150 Raptor and the Jeep Grand Wagoneer, two cars that never appeared in the game!

Crazy tractor. But I like this.
I will use this tractor for off road racing.
I know the feelings of those who dislike this car, but I've been looking forward to Top Gear's crazy custom cars since I decided that the FH4 location was in the UK.
For me this tractor is a good surprise than the 488 Pista or Huracan Performante.

Wait... is that thing coming to Horizon 4 or Motorsport 7?
It's probably the new exclusive car of July in FH4.
As this Trac-Tor is a tractor produced by Top Gear challenge, I think all of July's new exclusive cars are cars related to Top Gear.
For example, like collaboration with Mini.

That's interesting... I imagine it's not going to handle very well...
