TWO THOUSAND POINTS hahaha, I wonder what people are gonna come up with to support this pricing.

The only people who might be able to afford it are those who already have one... Like me. :)

It doesn't solve the Gold issue either since you need about 8-10 weeks to amass enough FP without Forzathon Live.

It doesn't take that long to amass that many points. 2000 points is doable with 5-6 weeks of completing daily and weekly challenges if you have Lake Lodge. I haven't done a Forzathon Live in months and have close to enough points for the Apollo.

For people that don't buy much in the shop, it takes even less time.

Is it an issue for new players or people that do not play that often? Sure, but for the average person that completes the playlist every week, it really isn't that bad, since they more than likely have Forzathon points saved up.

That's the irony of the increasingly substantial prices... Those who can afford to spend 2k in a single week most likely own the car in question already. It's nice for those who want a spare Apollo or sell in the auction house, but it is a really steep barrier for many first-time owners.

It doesn't look like anyone was coming up with anything to support the pricing until you made it a point of discussion. Anything to be edgy I guess though ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. The funny thing is, from what I recall, the vast majority of people actually have voiced a negative opinion about this aspect in general, so I'm not sure where you were going with that.

How was this supposed to solve any issue?

So nasty, Playground.

I sure don't see anybody supporting it here or on the greater Forza community, but whatever, anything to make you feel like you're being attacked by the fans here.

Plus, lets be honest here...if you're not playing with Gold on this game, then you're handicapping yourself out of the vast majority of features this game has with regards to Forzathon and general online features. Does it suck? Absolutely - but it's a small problem that ultimately, can be fixed by the user.

I had plenty enough points for it because there hasn't been anything in the Shop that I haven't already owned in a very long time. and I really only hop on once or twice a week to complete the seasonal events.

Ok, let's go back to reasonable mode then.

Another problem with the Apollo is that there's little incentive to buy multiple. It even comes only with two manufacturer colors. 2000 FP doesn't make any sense when the Hummer still costs 650 and is slightly less difficult to obtain.

I had a group of friends to do the Trial with when I won the Apollo and I remember people having difficulty with the event... Playground put themselves in a difficult position since, if the car cost too little, it'd have been a slap on the face of those who did the event a month or so ago, but the current price makes it stay too restricted when it isn't even that good of a car to begin with.

I was hoping they'd put the Pink Pig or some other 10 million car... Not a bad idea to bring back the Apollo, just the way in which it was done was terrible. One reason why they do this, I believe, is because the car itself has a high credits price, so they want to prevent people from buying lots of them and reselling them in the AH. Which is weird because they have cars in the game that let you trade skill points for credits very easily. Trading FP for CR is not an exploit, it's something that happens with currency in real life.

That may be also why the 812 Superfast was never featured in the Forzathon Shop past the first week.

I'm afraid I haven't used Gold since 27/01/2017. God bless Play Anywhere.

You can get a few hundred thousands CR via those "talents". Cars on the auction house could net you tens of millions, with the knock on effect of making rare or "exclusive" cars no longer rare or exclusive.

Not saying whether I think it's a good strategy or not, but it's more complicated than FP for CR.

For the coop race to win the Jeep Wrangler Deberti, i really struggled to beat AI midfield with the recently added 6 wheel Mercedes car. We got the prize thanks to a single player who won all races with a 2011 Ford Raptor. I would start with that if i were you (PI max for this Offroad race is B700).

I tried that Raptor three times with three different builds: handling, power, and a mix. None worked. So I switched to the Ranger Raptor and that did the trick for me. It starts with a low enough PI that I was able to add handling and power and it turned out to be a great race truck.

After reading Freds post "things unnoticed" I found some skills I didn't noticed before.
Fruit Salad! (hitting the vendor stand) does seem familiar. Almost sure it was always there.
Creamed (hitting the ice-cream cone) looked new.. not sure.
Try! (hitting the Rugby Goal) sure is new... also GOOAALL!! (hitting the Soccer Goal).

Looks like the Festival Playlist is taking a week off.

Why would they do things differently?

Because Playground streams their own show from the UK and Turn 10 streams Forza Monthly from Seattle. I know there's usually a member of Playground staff making guest appearance on Forza Monthly, but other than that I see no connection.

They're usually on the same day, and have been since the game's release... I don't see why it's strange to assume it'll be the same thing for August.

There have been plenty of times where they where not on the same day.

Are we still doing this asinine points inflation nonsense? I really, honestly, do not understand the mentality of coercing people to spend points for a problem they created by not putting anything worthwhile on the storefronts for weeks at a time.

I'm still sitting on my 3000-whatever points and I haven't really played in a while. This is most unfortunate narrative on economy I've ever experienced,. and the funny thing is it doesn't appear to have had the intended effect, otherwise prices wouldn't be this high.

PG have already said in the Discord that their monthly stream will happen on Monday, July 29th, so it's very safe to assume the playlist is arriving right on schedule.

Seeing how I have absolutely no clue what a Discord is (you damned kids and your newfangled sayings  ) I'm going to take your word for it.

That's the Fortune Island ship... I'm gonna leave before my expectations shoot up to the heavens.

It's like a mix of mIRC and Skype.

He's a character from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. He's voiced by John de Lancie (Q in Star Trek: The Next Generation and its spinoffs.) I'm not sure why everyone goes to him to talk on the internet, and I'm frankly surprised de Lancie has the time, what with him being a working actor and all.

New features that would be introduced in the next streaming:
  • 1974 Lego Speed Champions Porsche 911 Turbo 3.0 (Lego expansion barn finds)
  • New Lego Speed Champions car (They announced that four cars were available at the "launch" of the Lego expansion. Meaning that more cars may be added to the Lego expansion)
  • New body kit update (they announced that it will come soon)
And in August, Gamescom will be held in Germany. Mercedes-AMG Project One was present in the FH4 preload data, I guess that they may announce the addition of this car at Gamescom.

First car to launch straight in X class.
