Ok, let's go back to reasonable mode then.
Another problem with the Apollo is that there's little incentive to buy multiple. It even comes only with two manufacturer colors. 2000 FP doesn't make any sense when the Hummer still costs 650 and is slightly less difficult to obtain.
I had a group of friends to do the Trial with when I won the Apollo and I remember people having difficulty with the event... Playground put themselves in a difficult position since, if the car cost too little, it'd have been a slap on the face of those who did the event a month or so ago, but the current price makes it stay too restricted when it isn't even that good of a car to begin with.
I was hoping they'd put the Pink Pig or some other 10 million car... Not a bad idea to bring back the Apollo, just the way in which it was done was terrible. One reason why they do this, I believe, is because the car itself has a high credits price, so they want to prevent people from buying lots of them and reselling them in the AH. Which is weird because they have cars in the game that let you trade skill points for credits very easily. Trading FP for CR is not an exploit, it's something that happens with currency in real life.
That may be also why the 812 Superfast was never featured in the Forzathon Shop past the first week.
