Free cars in GTS (returning or new) - "PD is the best", "amazing update", "can't beat free"
Free cars in any Forza game (returning or new) - "weak", "boring", "why didn't PG add...[insert car].....?!"
I wouldn't say it's all like that in GT Sport, I've been to that part of the forums and people still complain about update cars.

Why did you quote me to post that? Anyway, are you trying to suggest everyone are happy with the free GT content updates? Then you’re wrong.

Personally I’m glad to see free content in any game, granted it’s content I can see myself enjoying. I suppose that’s how it works for most people in any fanbase.

Turns out using a Ferrari 599XX E to ramp off of hills at 250mph and breaking the photo mode height boundaries can result in some nice shots, lol.

Torn between spending the 2000 points for the Apollo (as I missed it the first time) or just grinding my ass off and just buying one outright in the AH. I don't want to spend my FP if it will screw me out of a car I'll really want in the next week or two.

I have about 2350 FP, and just over 12.5 mil. Cr.

Halp. :banghead:

I think they will bring the Forzathon shop back to boring lineup.
Yes, cars that can be purchased at auto shows, or wheelspin-exclusive cars that have many opportunities to be obtained at Festival Playlist and Forzathon shop, like a Hummer H1...

Since I disagree with Gran Turismo's "let's offer returning cars as 'free' DLC", I'll have to point out the Karmann Ghia and the Type 3 sedan aren't the hottest of additions. It feels as if Playground didn't have time to make these cars ready before release and is releasing them in steps... Provided you play the game of course, otherwise you'll just get shafted.

I seriously hope the Karmann-Ghia has either the 914/6 or the Carrera RS engines available as swaps! No GT3 RS nonsense, though you could still have it "for the lulz". :)

The Astons are solid additions, though. I really wanted to drive the new DBS and the Shooting Brake is a nice companion to the GTC4 Lusso.

Somehow I feel as if FH4 isn't the game for the Performante and the Pista. Both of them would start in S2 already. They'd be in a similar situation to the GT2 RS, which you can't race competitively without radically changing the car itself. Or even the Corvette ZR1, which was gimped when it comes to upgrades.

Still, Forza used to go out of its way to feature the latest and best. Remember we just had a VIP DLC filled with similar cars in FH3... Considering the Huracán Performante and the 488 Pista came out a while ago, I'd have expected to see them added to Forza at this point. The VWs feel like a token effort in comparison, all they did to them was add wider track and new engine swaps (possibly).

Free new cars as rewards for playing the game is...

*takes off sunglasses*

...so nasty, Playground.

I'm more hyped for the VWs than I am the Astons. They mentioned in the stream that the GT3 engine swap is an option for the Ghia, not that I will use it, but it is there if people desire.

The Astons are good additions too and I'm happy to see them, but neither of them is a shooting brake, the Zagato is a coupe.

In the end, licensing still plays a big part, especially when it comes to featuring the latest or hottest cars from a manufacturer.

It was just announced it’ll take a while to scan the car to put it in the game. Saw three prototypes this weekend in Detroit

'Twas just me dreaming out loud. Since the C8 that has been revealed is technically a preproduction version subject to change (presumably not much, but still...), I would think we wouldn't realistically see it in a game until closer to production being finalized. My guess is around November or December-ish, but I'm holding out hope (as unlikely as I know it is) that at least the preproduction version makes it to Forza 7 with their last update in August - I want to take it to the Ring! If we only get it in Horizon this fall I'll still be happy.
