Nice to get two cars that are not available in the Autoshow in the shape of the 2019 Macan Turbo and Fairlady Z (300ZX type).

It made a pleasant change to get some easy event to participate in. The Extreme Off-road proved easy with the Regalia off-roader. Tuned to S1 801 with full front and rear downforce it was up against a complete field of A Class cars! The Porsche SUV was relatively easy as well. I used the “old” Macan Turbo, A708 from the Autoshow. I added full front and rear downforce, wider rear tyres and some heavier wheels to bring it back to A708. There were some A740 Cayennes but the Macan had the measure of them.

I now need to find a suitable sub 25K car for the last series.
If you have DLC: Can-Am Maverick is one of the best choices. Like at B class buggy events.

I don't know if it's just a coincidence but I found several Porsche Pre-order edition on the Auction House lately. Maybe its a good time to try your luck. They are also very cheap and usually go for less than 200k.

They all do, at least the ones that are available. The McLaren, Porsche, and Aston Martin preorder cars that I all got recently were all under 200K. The Camaro I already got from preordering the game, but I'm sure that should also be around the same price. The Nissan, Mercedes and Ford are unobtainable from what I heard.

Just made about 20 million off the auction house between just the AMG 4-Door, '14 Ghibli, and the McLaren 12C. Currently debating liquidating the VW Notch and the Karmann Ghia for almost $10m also.. They mean next to nothing to me, so I guess cash out and make someone else pleased.

The two tracks in the developper off-road championship are atrocious.

Just played them the other day and I agree. I always forward to the developer/community races since they are basically new types of routes. But then again, these two races were cross country events, which I hate. Pretty much just playing hop potato with your cars...

I was 3-1 against the Maverick in the championship. It's just too good on the Drag Strip.

I defeated the Maverick in a... Land Rover.

No Buggies restriction so I could dish the AI some of the punishment back. Maverick is fast but can be defeated by a proper offroader.

In the faster tracks you might want something with better top speed, though.

My guess:
  • Spider: New spider variant. And it will probably be a supercar or hypercar.
  • Warehouse: New barn finds. There are two unused barns on the main map. This may get rumors of this barn by achieving a seasonal challenge, like FH3.
  • Long-tailed fish: McLaren Speedtail
  • Sonic the hedgehog: Fiat 8V Supersonic
  • Sonic the hedgehog (guess 2): Ferrari 812 GTS. "Gotta Go Fast" and spider clue may be about this car.
  • A Series of tubes: Will Mudkickers danger sign be chosen for Seasonal PR Stunt.
  • Illustration of cars and money bags : Add the features to sell cars. Sale from wheel spin or garage.

My guess:
A new Horizon story. The warehouse look similar to the glitched one just north of the train junkyard with flags outside. Also the number 250/2750 could be linked to new achievements.
Also the idea of selling duplicates from wheelspins... yes please!
This will be a special update for sure. Many gifts for the first birthday.

I found it.
Certainly this warehouse looks different from the normal one. This may be used in the new Horizon Story.
And there are many toolboxes, jacks and engine crane in the warehouse.
It may be a motor sports style Horizon Story like Horizon Rally.

My idea on the Warehouse:

It will be a new Story where you complete challenges to receive clues about new barn finds. Inside the barns will be parts for a new car. Complete the entire Story and you'll have a new barn car assembled as your prize.

Gotta go edgy... Sonic the H Edge hog... Ford Edge? And at the top corner, a clear clue that we will be able to sell the duplicates.

Nah, pretty sure that's "gotta go fast!" now that I've seen the high-res.

On the left there's that 11/250 with 2750 underneath... something like the Lego challenges? 250 of them and 2750 points?

Not a clue on the '28' and '2' in the balloons, nor the circled '14'... but 2 * 14 = 28, lol. Around those, there's notes on searching for custom events (car theme, car class, length, start point) and I guess thoughts on how to tell someone else of an event (GUID? Shorter GUID? Shorter!! 9!).

Well, let me give the clue hunting a shot.

Let's start by the most obvious: the birthday cake. It's the game's 1st Anniversary update.

On the top-left corner of the board, we have a slot-machine drawing, with two cars pointing towards a bag of credits. This suggests that this update will introduce the ability to trade a duplicate wheelspin car for an equivalent credit reward.

Below that we have the numbers '11/250', and below the '250' we have '2750'. As it stands right now, you can earn a total of 2500 gamerscore from Horizon 4. But, if they introduced 11 new achievements, for a total of 250 more gamerscore, the total you could earn from the game would be 2750.

Then, there's the truck, with pipes. Note how they crossed out the front of the truck. Trucks are composed of two major parts: the cab and the trailer. Without the cab we are left with a trailer carrying a bunch of tubes on top. On the internet, video streaming sites are referred to as 'tubes'. Combine the two and you have a trailer that will be shared across their media, for this update.

As for the fish with the incredibly long tail, you would guess the Mclaren Speedtail. But that fish is fairly regular, nothing particularly fast about it. The term 'LongTail' is associated with at least two highly requested Mclaren models: the 600LT and the 675LT. I find those more likely.

As for the the spider dropping down, with the number 19 next to it, it's a car with either 'Spider' or 'Spyder' in its name, from 2019. The Porsche 718 Boxter Spyder comes to mind, especially considering the 718 Cayman arrived recently.

The spider could be an allusion to 1919 car, that is a barnfind... covered in spiders.

As for Sonic the Hedhehog, I'd say the 'Gotta Go Fast!' phrase is just there because it's Sonic's catchphrase. The actual car being teased is, as said already by another member, likely the 1953 Fiat 8V Supersonic. It's been in Horizon 3, FM7, but still isn't in Horizon 4.

Finally, last month we had toy Porsches on the desk, this time we have tissue paper. Which suggests this update will make fans cry, presumably of joy, hence the need to have tissues in hand.

The rest, I seriously have no idea.

All very logical, I like it! I was thinking the crossed out bit just meant we weren't getting a truck. The cobweb though, I think that could be significant, as in something is being brought back that we haven't seen for a while... perhaps from a previous FH?

I left a joke comment on Reddit about series of tubes being a reference to Tubular Bells by Mike Oldfield, he wrote the song for The Exorcist. One of the few cars that appears in the Exorcist is a 1972 Mercedes SEL. It isn't a 6.3 in the movie but with Mercedes having a good relationshipnwith Turn 10 it would be a fun car to have back.
