I have an extra 944 that didn't sell at the minimum price, so with the drift challenge I decided to try setting up a drift tune. I don't know what I'm doing, but I added the drift suspension, added a lot of air pressure to the tires, and mostly made it look ridiculous. On the upside, it is much easier to drift. On the downside I'm still terrible at it. I think I barely managed to eke out two stars in this week's zone, so the challenge number seems well beyond my skills.

I used the '19 GT3 without too much trouble.
That's what I ended up using. At first, the LEGO Porsche was doing well at the Edinburgh race. But the Wind Farm race was a struggle, so I just went with a stock GT3 and won the remaining races.

The online trial with the Caterhams was a real challenge for me. I finally had to switch traction and stability control back on so I could have a smidgen of control over the car. Once I did that I entered it again. I finished first in the first race but the rest of my teammates scored nothing so we lost. Only one other driver stuck around for race two. My teammate won that race which was good since I was forced off-road by the drivatars and ended up last. We still won race 2 650-600. In the third race, I was forced off course again and came in last, but my teammate won so we won the third race 650-600 as well, and the overall championship 2-1.

The better news is I now have all three Porsches I wanted from Season 13. Everything after this is just gravy.

There's still the Macan for Winter.

Mentioned in the last Monthly stream, PG have said they'd like to keep adding atleast 4 new exclusive cars each series update for the "foreseeable future". These often include a mix of cars from FM7, 360 Gen Forza's and New to Forza vehicles. So, if you had the chance to choose between 4-7 cars to add for a series update, which ones would you choose and why?

Keeping in mind that I'm some kind of weirdo outlier when it comes to car enthusiasms:

-De Tomaso Pantera (1st gen/'70s): the semi-forgotten supercar, a beast in Group 3 racing back in the '70s
-Jensen Interceptor FF: all-wheel drive and ABS in the late '60s, I have to find out what that drives like
-Rover SD1: the car to beat in early '80s Group A
-Lister Storm GT: 7 liters of BPR/FIA GT-era hellaciousness
-Citroen DS: The only thing I can assume is keeping it out of Forza is that maybe they haven't figured out how to ideally simulate a self-levelling suspension?
-Alfa Romeo 164 ProCar: An F1 car semi-convincingly disguised as a sports sedan, maybe the most ridiculous thing ever constructed by a major Italian manufacturer

Wait, how do you already have the 906? I thought 50% wasn't possible till the final daily chore of the week?

I found the Caterham trial much easier than the S2 Porsches from last week. Just drove as gently as I could to keep grip, and won the trial second try (disconnected the first time). Though last week was my achilles heel: S2. I really struggle with S2, it's just too fast in this game.

- 1997 Mitsubishi Pajero Evolution [New] : It is a little surprising fact that there is not yet one “new” Japanese car among FH4 exclusive cars. All are imported from FM7. If I add a new car to the Forza franchise for FH4, I will choose this car. SUV Evo modified for homologation. It is one of the cars suitable for Horizon.

- 2001 Aston Martin Vanquish [Return from FM4] : A gem that was not included in the Best of Bond car pack. If this Aston returns, probably many players will look forward to winter.

- 2004 Peugeot 206 RC [Return from FH1] : The FH4 is located in the UK, but the carlist lacks the popular European hot hatch in the UK. So let ’s add a hot hatch. Peugeot 206 was one of the hot hatches popular with the community. This car will be worth adding to FH4.

- 1993 Porsche 928 GTS [FM7 cars] : This car has appeared many times in dev builds and will probably be added in the future. However, as a front engine Porsche enthusiast, I had to list this car.

- 1984 Rover SD1 [New] : One of the cars symbolizing British motor sports in the 1980s. This car should be added if they respect the British car culture.

- 1995 Mega Track [New] : There are various supercars and hypercars in FH4. However, almost all cars are not designed for off-road driving. But Mega Track is different. A very rare supercar for off-road use. More than this car, there will be no supercar suitable for the theme of Forza Horizon.

- 2008 Mazda Furai [Return from FM4] : One of the most requested 360 era cars in the community. Yes, this car was on lost. They can't get new data for this car. However, many of the FM4 cars they added with the FM7 and FH4 only brushed up the previous model. New data is probably not needed.

You only need to 100% complete two seasons for 50% overall. But you don't need that ether since the Rival and Ranked count towards every season.

Would like to see the FTO, I want a nice high reving small V6 plz.

Also wish Horizon had atleast one Australian Ford with the Barra engine(probably the best engine for modification ever made in this country).

Just a question about the Auction House. Sometimes I see rare cars for sale at ridiculously low prices. Like today I saw the Aston Martin DBS Supperlegera for 200K but it had already sold. A minute later the Z4 went for 48K. Is this likely a matter of friends selling to each other so they know when to go on there?
Only time I ever saw the Z4 at the AH. Luckily, purchased it in the Shop for 550fp. Boom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is this 2019 Porsche Taycon coming to Horizon 4:

I saw a 2019 Porsche Taycan in the search engine for the Auction House.

That's because non-painters get screwed in the auction house like you described. You can have a $500,000+ car and the max buyout you can set is like 200,000 or even lower. Painters can set the max much higher. Not sure how the algorithm works in the game, maybe it goes by what's actually rare vs. what gamers have in their garage.

They've completely redone the way the auction house works in a recent update, you can sell rare cars for much higher than you used to (see, actual million credits) even if you're not a legendary painter/tuner.

If I have a duplicate I'll often put it up for auction at or near minimum, just to let someone have it. Others want to get all they can, hence $20M+ '04 Civics (but it'll be a prize car next week). Since I'm not in need of game cash--living in a castle and all--I'm not seeing a need to be greedy.

I really couldn't care less about those cars which are in Forza 7 but can't be purchased in H4, like the Corsa VXR '09 etc. Only interested in obtaining those which are unique or haven't been seen since the days of the 360.
Ain't paying 10 million for a Levante or 20 for a crappy VXR. Wouldn't pay 2 million.

Here are my picks (as of this second, anyway):

- 1988 DAF 95 TurboTwin X1 #600 de Rooy Transport DAF Racing [New]
Quite possibly the maddest machine ever unleashed upon the Dakar Rally. A twin-engined, four-wheel-drive leviathan that would be the icing on the cake for the Trucks class. (IIRC there was talk of references to and/or files for a TurboTwin being found in FH4's code a while back so...fingers crossed.)

-1998 Mitsubishi FTO GP Version R [FM4]
A howling naturally-aspirated 2.0L V6 in a rad looking package? Yes please!

-1949 Oldsmobile Futuramic 88 Club Sedan [New]
There are multiple pre- and early-post-WW2 Fords (plus the '49 Mercury) in the Rods & Customs class, but no GM products! The original Olds 88 would be a nice start to fixing that imbalance, plus it would add another example of the marque AND it's historically significant (the first moderately-priced high-compression OHV V8, a popular and successful model in the formative years of NASCAR, and the subject of what many consider to be the first rock and roll song).

-1980 Subaru BRAT GL [FM7]
It would help fill out the Vans and Utilities class and...well...it's the BRAT, come on!

-1973 Triumph Dolomite Sprint [New]
British Leyland's answer to the BMW 2002, Alfa Giulia and Datsun 510, so it would make a dandy playmate to those cars in FH4. Oh, and it's British, so it'd be right at home on the map(s).

-1939 BMW 328 [FM7]
A new addition to the Forza universe in FM7 that's gone in the next game? I don't get it.

-1990 Audi V8 Quattro [New]
The E30 M3 and 190E 2.5-16 Evo 2 seem so lonely without their golden-era-of-DTM sparring partner, don't you think? I sure do.

7 would make sense as it was the amount of cars per month in car packs for the last games (FH3,FM7, maybe FM6 and FH2 too)
So here are my picks :

2009 HSV w427 (FM7): I love aussie cars but still can't understand why they deleted so much of them between FM7/Fh3 & FH4. This one may not be the best but could still be an interesting competitior against american muscles and european saloons; I have to admit, i was hesitating between this, FpV F6X and older falcons to represent the aussie part of these cars.

2010 Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale Zagato (FH1) : A gorgeous design paying hommage to older Alfa Romeos combined with a beautiful V10 engine. (not the only V10 I was thinking though : Chrysler Firepower, we need more concept)

2010 Porsche 911 Sport Classic (FM4) : I think we deserve more "basic", not only the top-tier models of the 911. And this one is a bit more special than a simple Carrera S

2008 Volkswagen Passat R36 (NEW) : My choice was hard between this and the older W8 version but as I really like sleepers, I had to include one. Looking really cool in blue and interesting enough with 300 hp from a V6 sent to the 4 wheels.

2020 Nissan Skyline 400R (NEW): Another sleeper, another V6 and a name from a famous Nismo Skyline

2013 Infiniti FX Sebastian Vettel Edition (NEW): We don't have that much Infiniti cars so this one may add a bit of variety for the brand and my be an outsideer amongst the super SUV

2012 Lotus Evora GTE (NEW) : The british part of my choice is the most powerful Evora (yet)

There's a lot more cars I'd like to see (of course) in game so you can see them in the "Create your own car pack thread" where devs should take a look at because there's a lot of interesting vehicles from everyone

Correct answer is correct.

I'm going with some older cars that haven't returned:
1966 Chevrolet Corvair
1988 Lamborghini Jalpa
1938 BMW 328
1932 Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 Spyder
1973 Ford Pinto
1968 Holden Monaro GTS 327
1968 Plymouth Barracuda Formula S
2010 Porsche 911 Sport Classic
1964 Porsche 904 Carrera GTS
These eight cars returning in Horizon 4 would make me very happy.

Correct answer is correct.
