I still remember Ford Racing 3. It itroduced me to the Ford Indigo which has been my most desired car in any racing game behind the Chaparral 2J.

NFS introduced me to this beast.

I remember all of the Ford Racing games, I wish I still had those, along with the Mustang and Corvette games.

*sigh* I wonder if I can dig them up from somewhere....

I also remembered that the Indigo was in Project Gotham Racing 3 alongside two other beautiful Ford concepts, both of which are considered to be among my most favorite concept cars ever.

Looks like Update 24 will be released on the normal schedule. They just set up the livestream for the 29th.
That is incredible! It blows my mind that, after that three delay with series 23 and fixing bugs, PG still managed to get series 24 done. Even though they are stuck working at home, this company deserves around of applause, because that is just incredible! 👍👍👍

I really wonder what our mystery Toyotas of update 24 would be, given that with every update, we always get new Toyotas besides the cryptic hints to other such cars.

In response to a series of problems currently occurring in the United States, they have revised their terms of service for livery.
Two new items are now subject to the ban. The Confederate flag and the Rising Sun.

I believe that the rights of all players should be respected. However, I think this revision of theirs is going to cause havoc in the community.

This is because these two items are items that have been used inappropriately, but at the same time, they are also one of the icons of peaceful pop culture that have no discriminatory meaning.
The former is General Lee from Dukes of Hazard.
And the latter was frequently used in JDM-style stickers, represented by Liberty Walk.
And these are naturally popular subjects in Forza, and there are probably thousands more livery and vinyl groups using them.

And this change in the terms and conditions means that a great many creators who were creating them are suddenly at risk of being banned.
The series of problems currently occurring in the US cannot be ignored. I suppose it's hard to say that games are irrelevant. But making these decisions out of the blue will only cause chaos in the community.

For example, I think they should have given creators of such content a certain grace period to "safely" remove these livery and vinyl groups, or they should have enforced these new guidelines after FM8.

I'm surprised they are including the Imperial Japanese Navy flag as well, with the 60 years that everyone outside of Asia has deliberately ignored the connotations that it held to everyone in Asia except Japan.

I really hate these knee-jerk reactions of censorship corporations do. In 6 months, things will simmer down and no one will care as much.

While it’ll almost certainly mean the end of replica General Lee’s, It does open up the market for a Confederate-less version of the General Lee.

Example, swap out the flag for the Mexican flag and you get this.

Still very General Lee like, but less racist. :P

The Confederate flag has been nothing more than a symbol of racism for the past 150+ years. This is a great decision in my eyes.
The BLM rioter who tried to burn the British flag at the Cenotaph (war dead memorial) in London recently no doubt thinks the British flag is a symbol of 'racism' as well, maybe we should ban that too. Where does it all end.

Someone on reddit has already said they've been punished for having a Scottish flag on a car. Even though those flags are not banned and are even hanging from the buildings in the game in Edinburgh, an over-zealous Microsoft employee has banned them anyway.

The banning of the Confederate flag is an example of how an entire class gets grounded for the actions of 1 or 2 idiots. Most modern southerners view the Confederate flag as a symbol of the southern values like family and hospitality, not the mentality of the civil war era. But, because some radicals decide to appropriate it, everyone pays the price.

Fortunately, I don't like flags on my cars. Unless it's a race car and I'd likely use modern flags anyway.

I doubt it.
