Ooh I'm excited about the Alpine being available. Though I'm not sure its possible for me to hit 80% series completion without XBL Gold...maybe they'll be some on the auction house.
That's easy. Some people "have to" have all cars and brand new ones. It was hard...

No, you can never hit 80% on the weekly or monthly without doing online stuff. I have the same issue...
Really irritates me that so many games try to "force" you to play online now by locking you out of stuff.

Online adventures are also a good idea.
Yes, this mode is full of stress. But with just three races you can get the achievement without doing anything for the rest of the month, and once you've done that, you can get to 80% of the season just by completing the single player challenge every week.
What if I draw 5 races? Cancel it immediately.
There is no need to play extra FRRs.

Regardless, multiplayer is a subscription-based extra expense. Maybe not a big deal for people who play numerous games, but otherwise barely worth the money. On the brighter side, it has been a while since a new exclusive car was attached to a multiplayer mode.

If it keeps up, no doubt Forza Motorsport Rebooted/8 and Forza Horizon 5 will get added on there. I really like the fact that Forza is spending out more and more for people to reach and play, because it really is a spectacular franchise!
Cheers to PG for putting FH4 on Steam. Best decision they've ever made.

The ItalDesign car is likely going to be the GTR-50 since it's their main show piece right now, or one of their many concepts they've drawn up in the last decade. Hoping for the Cala is likely out of their hands; Lamborghini has had full control of that car for the last 25 years.

No doubt the release of the Steam version has put a strain on the servers of this game, but today's online adventure was a nightmare.
I was frequently disconnected from races and I had to re-access my online adventure five times before I could complete all the races.
And in that last session, many players other than myself were disconnected from each race, and in the end there were only three of us left, including myself and one other player.
I hope this mess will be settled soon.

I was going to get this with it being released on Steam ... Never played a FH game before so was looking forward to it ... But it's $109 NZD !!! For a 2 year old game ??? I hope it comes up on special at some point soon, no way am I paying $109.
From memory I got ACC and F1 and PC2 for less than the price of FH4.

A 2 year old game and just the base game too (no DLC or extras) costing $109 ?? .... I would've hit the button on it instantly if it was $60 or something.
It works out to about $80USD, I'm pretty sure its on the US Steam store for about $50 ... Apparently it costs an extra $20-30 to send data down to NZ ??

Well obviously I care. That argument doesn't even make sense .... GTS has hundreds of cars too and you can pick that up for about 1/4 of the cost.... It's not iRacing we are not paying cars individually.

I just like racing games and it's good to support talented people like T10 or PG. I saw AMS2 for few hours and spent more on it than on Horizon 4. Good games need our support.

I do actually agree with you in a way... I mean I've been a subscriber to iRacing for over 10 years now.... But it does kinda feel like they taking the piss with the pricing... I guess i just didn't expect it to come out with a brand new release price tag.

It's the same extortionate price on the MS store - I presume they didn't want to undercut the store where they keep 100% of the money instead of paying Valve a share. I picked it up last year for something like a 50% discount, which gives me hope it'll go on sale on Steam eventually, however that MS store deal was exclusive to XBL Gold which cost me a few quid more for a discounted very short subscription and muddies the waters a bit.

Yeah I remember checking it out on the MS store a year or so ago and saw it for the same kinda money.
I guess that's the thing, I'm so used to picking up games for cheap on Steam it makes you feel like a sucker paying full price again.
I still really want to play it as I have never played a FH game before and do want something a bit more casual on my PC, but yeah I'm going to have to wait for a sale.
Wow, so you understand that. 10 years is very long time! I think the game is still be the best you can buy and lower price tag doesn't make much sense. It could be possible but they hold price high because of Game pass. I don't like subscription model at all. Still the game deserves it. I don't see any point on waiting for lower price if you could like the game.
