Playing through the cross country series for the 207, I picked the Gymkhana 9 Focus and it seems like the wheels are bugged to be grey instead of the normal blue. Definitely not my most used car but just curious is this an issue for anyone else?

The Focus is a weird one and has been since it arrived, it should have grey/white wheels in its Gymkhana setup

Whereas, the regular racing wheels are blue

...and in-game the basic Gym9 car (not Welcome Pack version) intially had blue fifteen52s:

The default liveries for both now use the regular unpainted rims

Honestly don’t see FH5 coming out this year.

What’s going to be different besides the map ?

Also, if they’re making it for the Series X and X1X wouldn’t that just bring the same problems FH4 already has with car models and sounds ? It doesn’t make sense.

And they're still updating FH4 with what looks like plenty more to come. Doesn't make sense to bring out FH5 while FH4 just got released on steam and still has a strong playerbase + still is getting series updates.

I’m not surprised the number of players doubled during its second year of release, since that includes the first seven or eight months of the pandemic lockdown. Sales of consoles and games skyrocketed during that time as people settled in for the long haul.

@Racing_Miku there was also a 1.5gb update on Xbox. If you only suspended the game last time you played, and didnt quit it, then it might not be triggered?

Xbox was switched off, perhaps it did update and I missed it, I will be playing later so hopefully it'll update to the new season today.

Ugh. Just a warning. The last race in the Co-op Championship (eligible car any Lotus A800, reward car Lotus Eleven) is the full Goliath.

Yay! This game desperately needs longer races. Goliath in an 800pp car will be excellent

Eh, Maybe so, but not too much an issue. Most devs don't even focus on outright sales anymore, and more so game popularity through player count. GT is even doing the same, even though people have harped on about the only devs that do that are trying to hide sales figures for a dying/lacking game only for the game they're defending to end up doing the exact same thing.

It's about money from people. More release price people = more money. H4 is Game pass game and MS doesn't care about money here but still money are different from sub service. GT is PS flag ship and it's probably not in profit (my guess). Normal game publishers need to care about profit. Player count is fine for next game but mostly you need to pay the game investment first (ASAP).

I feel it reached that point much faster than it did for FM. It grew stale much more faster, for me.

Yeah I know. Better engine sounds, better models and possibly new physics won't cut it.

We should keep expanding on top of everything FH4 has done. One of them being the ever growing collection of cars!

Nailing down the car culture aspect from the earlier games will be key to getting the series back on track as some recent features like Super7 have seen FH4 get way too sidetracked into becoming a GTA Online clone.

An actual focus for single player including some sort of full story mode would be way better than just having events thrown at us left right and center.

I actually came across this post a week ago and remembered that I tried searching for the Capri FE for a number of times in the auction house, but no results appeared. Back then, I thought it's just extremely unlikely for people to auction the car, since as far as I knew the only way to obtain it normally would be via completing a certain Star Card (which would take too much time for me).

Seeing this post made me think that it's quite possible to catch one via the auction house, and inspired me to at least search for it once every time I decided to play.

The Tachyon is only available right now in the Rivals event. You need to wait until Winter to unlock it as a seasonal completion prize
