Wow, so you understand that. 10 years is very long time! I think the game is still be the best you can buy and lower price tag doesn't make much sense. It could be possible but they hold price high because of Game pass. I don't like subscription model at all. Still the game deserves it. I don't see any point on waiting for lower price if you could like the game.
You like the game and you can afford it, so it’s good value to you. But you can’t make that judgment for anyone else. Other people have different financial situations, or simply have a different way of determining value.

It's not about me, it's about game comparison. You could buy Grid for the same price as UE with 80? cars and few tracks. Horizon 4 is completely different story. Sure, if you don't like racing games, it's better wait for a sale.

I just don't understand why many people here wants to find the best price for racing games. Doesn't make any sense. It's OK for children or people who don't care about the genre.

Its got a brand new release price tag, its only a new release on Steam.

Sticking to a high price tag may be FH4's way of balancing the expenses likely having gone into supporting the game with free monthly content for more than two years and counting.

Oh, but this definitely is all about you. Your opinion is right, and any other opinion is wrong. What’s a good value for you may be a difficult financial burden for someone else. Just stop with this argument already. You don’t get to make value judgments for other people.

Yeah Wow !! ... All this has been a bit strange though, it's like you have taken personal offense to my pricing concern ?

You know... they need to put the data in a container, then on a cargo ship, then onto a truck to deliver to your local internet provider.

You would think that's how it works with the way we get stung for pretty much everything here in NZ.

I’m not a big fan of having to play online, but the weekly Playground Games are as low key as possible. You don’t have to win. Just compete, stay to the end, and you get the credit. Do the games, do all the solo stuff, and that should be enough to get you 80% every week.

I was under the impression that the Playground Games were not available to people without XBL gold. Maybe that's just online adventure? I'll give it a shot!

I am not sure but I saw it again in very short time here. If I want good racing games, I need to pay at least full price for them. That's how it works.

No that's not how it works...Things get older you pay less for them.
You can pick up pretty much every old racing game on Steam for cheaper than original release... That's how it works.

Paying 'at least' full price for things helps the rich get richer.. that's all it does !!

I am skeptical that MS Studios would allocate development resources to a
Ahhh cheers ... I was close, that still means I'm paying an extra $20 to send the data down to NZ ??

Does that price include a VAT or GST? That might be where a lot of your $20 is going.

Oh, sorry. I don’t know if that’s available to players without Gold. Hopefully it is. Good luck.

If I take the $59 base cost (US) exchange to NZD and add GST I get to $95 .... Base game is selling for $109 NZD on Steam ... Either way I am still paying more than I should.

Blame Nintendo for that business model of stuff staying the same price forever, really. If it's good enough for them, it's good enough for everyone else.

The 2019 Porsche 911 GT3 RS gift car is live now. As long as you log in to FH4 before March 14th at 10am PDT, it will be automatically gifted to you. I just checked mine. There is no special livery. It’s the same GT3 RS we’ve always had, right down to the cut-line mistake in the right side door graphic. Still, if you don’t have it, then go get you some.

Sorry to perpetuate the price discussion but I just wanted to add that not only is FH4 refusing to get cheaper with age, it actually went up in price by 10% back in November! It does get regular 50% discounts and I'm sure Steam will too, but I don't think I've ever heard of a game going up in price after two years. It's pretty normal for a AAA release to not get a price cut until the sequel is out, though.

In other news... seems like all you need to do is pester people on Instagram to find out if stuff is coming to the game or not

It's still a value judgement for the customer. If you don't want to pay the sticker price, then the value you place on it is less than the value that the developer wants to get from sales of the game. Own that decision and move on. You can't just complain that the game's price is "wrong" or "unfair."

Aside from the international price difference. As a resident of the UK, I fully support that, since we get shafted continually. I'm particuarly enjoying the price rises on graphics cards that we can't buy being caused by import tariffs from a country in which we are not living. But hey-ho.

FH4 is excellent value though. It's a very fun game. I get it through XBox Game Pass, but if I'd paid $100 for it, I'd be well under 10c per hour of play by now.

Was there a game update file for this new season on Forza Horizon 4 as I don't seem to be able to play the new season?

If no then I guess I'm gonna have to restart my internet to play the new season...

Playing through the cross country series for the 207, I picked the Gymkhana 9 Focus and it seems like the wheels are bugged to be grey instead of the normal blue. Definitely not my most used car but just curious is this an issue for anyone else?

That is a glitch that has been identified for quite some time.
It probably occurred when the Welcome Pack was released and Hoonigan Focus WP was added to the game.
The Hoonigan Focus WP has gray wheels by default, perhaps to differentiate it from the regular model, and they probably accidentally made the same change to the regular Hoonigan Focus wheels when they added this model to the game.

The Forza Shop has the 1990 Camaro

That was a missing car for me. (but as often, i bought it today for 5 Millions at Auctions as i have more Cr than FP)

The 2017 Alpine A110 is also the prize for 80% completion at this whole Series.
Weird...

A110 available for 350fp.
They have been making these mistakes for a while now, but this will be a nice mistake for those who don't have XBL Gold.

People best get that A110 real quick. If history repeats itself, PG can end up changing it to another car if said car was mistakenly put in that car's place.

So hurry up folks.

Thanks the heads up people. Have jumped on and grabbed it quick in case it gets changed! 👍

I got a 1.55GB update on PC today (MS store).

@Racing_Miku there was also a 1.5gb update on Xbox. If you only suspended the game last time you played, and didnt quit it, then it might not be triggered?

Ahhhh man. You have no idea, how happy I am to finally see the 207 S2000 come back to Forza again. :embarrassed: It is a blast to drive in stock form, and with no turbocharger, it hits at 865PI in S-class nicely.

It feels so nostalgic because I remember driving this thing in FM3 on Fujimi Kaido and that rally track from Italy. Damn it T10, bring all of your fantasy tracks back! :D

Ugh. Just a warning. The last race in the Co-op Championship (eligible car any Lotus A800, reward car Lotus Eleven) is the full Goliath.

Any older game that holds its full price is usually a game worth picking up. I haven't been disappointed in that regard for quiet a while. Diablo 3 is still 59.99 with all it's DLC and has held that price for pretty much it's whole existence - I've been playing this game since 2012. I would gladly pay that full price tag for it, knowing how much I get/got out of it.
