Oh god this game was so hard to put down, I only did it when going to have dinner and later my ice cream. I loved every bit of it so far, except for the connection issues. I've downloaded most of my paint schemes from FM7, so I can continue my livery creation.
The showcase events have been a blast, I loved being able to race against a hovercraft, but I sucked so much at this event. I kept hitting walls. :/
Like in FH3, the dirt trail races are still quite fun; especially with the new rally cars I get to drive. The Koenigsegg Agera RS is quite a handful, it got me a lot of style points though.
Before signing off, I was on the 3rd barn find and it's stumped me. Noone tell me where it is, I still want to find it myself.

Yeah, and I turned the radio off as well, but I also turned the music down so that I can listen to my own music uninterrupted, and that's what I mean, you can't disable music completely, you can only make it go down to 1, and you still hear it in loading screens and race over screens.

Before the first event in the Autumn season, I went to switch my car (I was gifted a few cars and the car selection menu wouldn't let me go up or down) to the Mustang. I quickly realized this was a rally and was unable to change my car. It proved to be a rather interesting race.

I was having the same engine sound issues yesterday as well, but I turned the radio off and it seems to improve the situation.

It isn't, you have to get it from Wheelspins. But if you want another good thing to shoot for: you can get the Windows XP shutdown noise as a horn.

I've admittedly binged this game for about 14 hours today (not all in one setting of course) and I have had absolutely zero issues with this game so far on PC. No crashes and no memory leak stuttering I still experience in Forza Motorsport 7 to this day. I'm quite shocked.

One crash so far, and it's one I should have seen coming, as it was present in FH3 as well.
Ran into the barn find location (I think number #3) too fast and through sheer luck hit the loading zone at like 150mph, which crashed the game after the cutscene started playing. Other than that, I'm enjoying it.

• Fanatec - Handbrake - ClubSport Handbrake V1.5 does not function.
• Fanatac CSL - Playing without a handbrake device will auto engage the E-brake in game and you will not be able to move.
• Fanatec Clubsport V2 - Wheel FFB is not initialized when wheel is in GIP mode.
• Fanatec Clubsport 2.5 (DrV 310, FwV 446) wheel settings don’t save on game restart.
• Mad Catz Pro - Force feedback and vibration are lost after after Alt+Tabbing or minimizing.

The peoples that have read other posts in different racegame topics sometimes 'acuse' me of being too optimistic. My glass is often 3/4 full.
In this case my glass is - almost- empty....
This is the most expensive game I ever bought and the first one that is not working right after the start. I have a CSL Elite and it does not work so the game is unplayable at the moment.
Enjoy to all of you who can already play the game! I'll have to wait patiently

I have spend three hours with the game yesterday, and i had a great time. Im playing on the X and i prefer the performance mode. Yes, image quality takes a hit in 1080p, but i have to get closer to the TV to really notice it. That being said, the game looks great in 1080p and 60 fps makes a huge difference here.
I also noticed some of the smaller changes. Having real players instead of drivatars out in the open is fantastic because actually, they cause less trouble then the mindless drivatars which always pop out of nowhere.
What i really dislike are the stupid comedy clothes and Fortnite dance emotes that show up all the time in prize wheels. Is the Horizon festival some kind of circus?

I have bind the handbrake to my clutch pedal now. That works LOL

Can we put barn finds in spoiler tags please? Most of us want to be surprised by what the cars are.
It's just a bit of fun, I quite enjoy the character customisation and the silly dance moves. They're entirely optional too, although I do understand that it must be frustrating to get items for customising your character in wheelspins if you don't care about that stuff.
