I've only just unlocked the 2nd showcase in Winter and not yet found the 2 barn finds that have appeared in that season so far so they may have to wait til it comes back round. But I'm loving it so far.
Got 44 cars including the DLC packs and over 1 mil in credits so far. Im using my Dad's old original Xbox 1 but it really is a stunning game.

After buying the Fairlawn Manor that enables fast travel,
I spent a good portion my play time hunting down every fast travel board and managed to get them all. Glad that’s out of the way.
Speaking of which, just a tip. If anyone is wondering how to get the fast travel sign that’s on top of a building in Broadway (very south of the map), just keep doing Danger Sign jumps. Eventually, one will spawn next to the sign so you can easily reach it.

I noticed they have added a tab to the garage that only shows tour favorite cars. It's a small thing but I like it so much more than just putting favorites at the beginning of your garage like in previous games.
I unfortunately have to work today, but I'm only working until noon so I will have plenty of time to play. My priority for tonight is to get the stupid tutorial crap (
) out of the way so I can try Forzathon Live. After that I'll be doing my usual Horizon launch tradition and exploring all the roads and collecting as many signs as I can.

The intro/tutorial stuff goes on waaay too long IMO. It's one of main complaints about this game, that and the constant non-skippable voice lines surrounding events and season changes. Just let me race, dammit!

I just love the game. The road layout is just perfect, the map feel so complete and full of stuff to do, the seasons really make the difference to any other game, than there is forzathon live, and I have this feeling the physics are much better than FH3. I really like the snow, the mud, hill climbing than jumping of the mountain, Edinburgh feel like a real city... the game is just gorgeous. Oh, and one more thing. Being able to switch between cars in any moment +++.
But I do have some complains too. First the sound bug. I can't drive the Jag CX75 any more. The sound just brake every 2 minutes of driving. I really hope they will fix the sound bug in the next patch. I also got the game crash 2 times and 3 times the game just froze during an event (XBOX OneS).... and there is another thing that bothers me.. it's the Motocross Showcase Event. Why did they put the full event in the intro of the game? I haven't tough about it until I entered the Showcase... a little bit disappointed there.

Made it through to Spring in the prologue last night and have been really enjoying it. Loved seeing Edinburgh in game and the sheer vastness of the Highlands.

Watching Jimmy Broadbent's stream on it makes me wish I had an Xbox. This game looks like it's a lot of fun.
My missus was watching it with me so I dropped a few subtle hints like 'it looks good doesn't it?' and 'shame it isn't on the PS4'. A couple of minutes watching later, she said *'Sod off. You're not having one so don't ask.'
*She said exactly that about my PS4...
Time to go and buy a book on foot massages and erogenous zones.💡

There are some things I cannot figure out. It should be simple, but it's quite confusing to be honest.
It has always been said that seasons will change every week affecting all players at the same time. However, it's currently winter in my game and seasons seemingly change at certain influence milestones. What is this all about?
I'm also confused about that "Update One Welcome To Horizon" monthly schedule shown in this article: https://www.forzamotorsport.net/en-us/news/wir_9_28_18
In the article it refers to summer season as week one, but is it supposed to be now or after the official launch? Both the early access date and launch date are mentioned, so it's not really clear.

Indeed. I have no idea why PG decided to go with this approach. The four seasonal glimpes at the very beginning were in my opinion an adequate appetizer. I'd say the weekly season should have started after selecting the first car at the Autoshow, but much of the stuff that follows immediately after is too linear and too comprehensive for a mere introduction.

I finally located that blasted 3rd barn find, I had to use the drone to locate it.

I deleted my local save files because I wanted a clean start after spending too much time on nothing during the prologue. However, the new game session then automatically synced my online save. There was no prompt to sync with the online save or start clean.
Will cancelling the online save sync give me a new game once the local save has been deleted? I was afraid to cancel the sync after reading some horror stories about doing that.
Update: I went ahead and cancelled the online sync and I got a new game to start. I'll give the game a proper go now.

I finally unlocked Blueprint and one of the first things I noticed is that the AI will now use cars with a slightly higher PI than you. This was something that annoyed me in FH3 so I'm very happy to see it's been changed this time around!
