I just hope the long intro period doesn't turn people away as I can certainly see some people not wanting to put in 4+ hours just to get to the part where you can do Forzathon.
You can reach Autumn very fast by doing Stunt missions only. Once you reach Autumn (the second season in prologue) you can Blueprint events. Just set 20 laps on the first circuit event and you will need only 3 races to complete the prologue/tutorial part. I heard someone finished the Prologue in 1,5h.

What the? How the heck is the Lola T70 only 850,000cr with every other car in its class around 10 million?

Note: I've done a bunch of races and now I'm just doing summer season. I completed the 4th showcase event and now off to catch up on my barn finds. I haven't found the 4th car and the 5th barn find rumor just opened. More car collecting! :D

Seriously though, I've gotten some cars I wanted out of just pure, dumb luck.

Ain't this a sight to see...

It's OK, only 3.....more.....days...........*dies*

Finally made it to the Roster!

A little issue though. Might be my PC, but I get audio lag sometimes. Video isn't too bad though, although I have the graphics on Low.

Yeah, I get audio stuttering quite often on my PC too. They did mention they are looking into it, hopefully it improves.

VXR
Shark wellies! I did not know of their existence and now I must win them!

:lol::lol::lol:

I honestly didn't even notice them before, I completely ignore everything except cars now.

The Aston Martin DB11 drives completely different than I remembered. It's the car equivalent of the stereotypical rich kid that got sick of the boring life his parents put him through and longing to have some fun. So, the kid proceeds to go to wild parties with some friends. The DB11 is exactly that, it just wants to spin its wheels and slide around.

I don't have the game yet. But am I right?:

- We don't have a single new rim
- No new photo mode features like hiding driver, ability to turn off lights and even that panning feature from FM7 is missing?
- No new livery / painting features (metallic layers, new materials and ability to paint black plastic and chrome parts for example)
- No new car features (ability to open roofs, working HUD gauges, turning off engine or ability to use lights for example)
- No OEM customization like different interior colours or different OEM wheels
- Car list does have more deleted than new cars compared to previous games
- Many car sounds are just wrong

Almost everything is just 100% copy-paste from FH3 execpt map and graphics. I mean, is this wrong if I'm dissappointed?

Or is is just that I've played Forza series for too long (since FM1) and it starts to feel rinse and repeat..

Well just had my first hard crash on PC, I wasn't doing much had just started the game a few mins before and was going full speed in my truck across afield looking for the influence and fast travel boards. then then screen went blank, rumble motors kicked on full in controller and nothing. the radio was still going in the background but had to restart the PC. I'm not to bothered its a new game (and probably hugely complex) so its bound to have some teething troubles early on

Yes, because you're boiling everything down to a list of things that were removed or not present, and not the major gameplay features that are present and have been added in. Plus, you're forgetting that ultimately, even with stuff that hasn't been put in, the game's still fun.

You can be disappointed in the game sure, but this feels like boiling down the game to the point where you're focused more on what's missing then what's added in.

We don't have a single new rim
But we have around 30 new widebody kits and new suspension options.

No new photo mode features
replays for races

Yeap, carlist isnt that great, so much disappointment. On the other hand, they will return/add, at least, 20+ cars for free in weekly Forzathons. Most likely, there will be around 40-50 free cars.

Almost everything is just 100% copy-paste from FH3 execpt map and graphics.
Actually, you could say that about FH2 and FH3. All new progression system, huge multiplayer rework, route creator tool and two completely different seasons(summer and winter) with different gameplay.

This game is too good
The attention to detail is second to none for a racing game. I think Playground Games has joined the champions league of studios among Naughty Dog, CD Projekt and Rockstar Games. This genre has now a king. There is the GTA-like genre, now there is the Horizon-like genre. Good luck to all the studios if they developp a arcade-sim racing game and I include Gran Turismo, Need For Speed, The Crew and even Forza Motorsport.

All the steep hills in this game make a lot of cars feel slower than they were in Australia.

You have a point, but you're also forgetting that the game is all about feeling alive with new stuff to do every seasonal week. No previous Horizon game had so much community stuff planned for it.

I think Playground Games has joined the champions league of studios among Naughty Dog, CD Projekt and Rockstar Games.

The bar will probably be raised once RDR2 comes out in a month or so. Then everyone wants to make open worlds like Rockstar again.

I can't download my pictures from xbox dvr, they're refusing to show up. The pictures I share on the Forza website oddly enough do show up in comparison. It's usually the opposite whenever I start playing a new Forza game.

I'm at 7 barnfinds now, and I haven't done a cross country race yet. I guess it's a good time to upgrade one of the trucks or 4x4s I recently acquired.

Same here, but I've discovered Forza Horizon 4 captures show up on the Xbox App for Windows 10, so I download them from there.

It’s a fun game, for sure. Really like it. I can see myself enjoying this for a long time. Something I could never do with the regular Forza games. I just hope they keep the content coming.

After never having been able to import my paints from FH3 into FM7, it seems I wont be importing anything into FH4... every time I try it gets stuck at 0% data synced. Anyone else having problems importing their stuff on PC?

Foot massages and increased attention to Mrs. @kilesa4568 erogenous zones isn't doing something nice for her?

After nearly 25 years of marriage, we both need jump leads but a quick service might get her purring again.:sly:

She's got a fixation with the Fifty Shades of Grey films that's got me a little worried though. I'm not sure how far I'll go for an Xbox 1 but if there's a 4k TV thrown in, I may broaden my horizons for Horizon. I'll just sit on a cushion.
