So after the last update both R8s received a new engine sound and holy moly, they are now one of the best sounding cars in the game.

If you have either of the R8s then try them out, it’s simply eargasmic and is what a V10 should sound like, I am in so much love.

All RUF uses from the Porsches are the chassis. Everything else is made by RUF.

They do convert Porsche cars to RUF cars, but those are usually customer requests.

I believe i read somewhere that one of the latest RUF models is completely built from the ground up by RUF. It still has the looks of a Porsche though.

So today I started up FH4 for the first time in a month to check out the October DLC cars. However, I cannot see them in the Autoshow despite having the Car Pass. Do I need to download something from the store? It worked fine during the first month of DLC without doing anything other than just starting the game.

You have a Car Pass (?) menu when in a House/Festival, that's where they are.
That's the bottom-right slot menu in the first tab.

Im sure he's aware of that. He's not new, but he's more likely experiencing some technical difficulties with the game.

@Nielsen you might have to reinstall the pass, if possible. There should be no extra outside of that needed in order to get the cars, if you already had the prior ones.

I spent a huge amount of time with FH4 and i'm still surprised by the UI paths.
The game displays DLC even to players having no car pass, since it's a way to tease them.

I agree. I haven't played in a month and jumping back on took some re-adjusting

Look under Hoonigan and not Ford.
Thank you, that is not what I am asking, my first question on this did ask about how many different ones, since then I have been wondering why my solid white 65 ford mustang with turbos disappeared and a solid white 65 ford mustang without turbos appeared on My Cars screen.

That actually did happen, I raced the one with turbos many times and remember because I always had to change the view to see out. But that car is now gone from my list.

I guess it did not happen to anyone else, but it did happen to me. Thanks for helping.

The 65 Ford Mustang with turbos I had was NOT one of the Hoonigans...I know what they look like.

Hoonigans is actually the only one in game that has the turbos protruding from the hood. There is no other car in game like that sold under anything else, it's only sold through the Hoonigan Vendor. The only one that isn't part of the Hoonigans is the unmodified, original version of the 1965 Ford Mustang.

I believe you, and yet I am telling you the truth. I am sending a note to Forza support, they are the ones who answered my wheel question about why it is sloppy ONLY with this game, well they didnt answer it to my satisfaction as the reason is there is no reason, but I will see what they tell me.

I do not own any Hoonigans, and yet I drove that Mustang many many times, I even commented here once about it being good with jumps because it was so fast but I always had to change the view to outside of the car to see over the turbos. I used it dozens of times.

Odd, I don't really know what to tell you. Regardless they'd all be under the Hoonigan tab in the car list, not under Ford. The only one that will be under the Ford selection is the absolutely stock version of the car. Those that look modified will not be found there. With that said, I don't think the support would be able to elaborate anymore than what we have done here.

I understand. But I need them to tell me I did not imagine the dozens of times and I have to laugh here, that I used the car and each time had to change view so I could see over the turbos....I do not play any other racing game right now, haven't since I bought this game.

Odd indeed.

I don't think you imagined using it. What I think is happening is that you might just be looking in the wrong spot, to be honest. I haven't heard of cases of one single car disappearing from people's car list as a glitch, so I really feel that you might be accidentally overlooking it.

Is there a chance that you're not actually at "My Cars" list and that you're looking in the Autoshow accidentally? Care to take a picture of the "Hoonigan" manufacturer section on your game, and uploading it like I showed you a couple of weeks ago?

No word of lie, this happened to me once (or maybe the other way round). Took me way too long to realise what was going on

You say you understand, but you certainly don't seem to understand what he is telling you. There is NO OTHER 65 Mustang with Turbos sticking out of the hood other than the Hoonigan models.

It would be far easier to believe you and understand if you do as Robot suggested and take a screenshot of both the Ford sections and the Hoonigan sections of your garage. Not the autoshow.

Somehow I don't believe you, how about you take a screenshot as Stang616 suggested to show the Mustang you're talking about? Just press the Xbox home button (it's in the middle of your controller, the Xbox icon. Just in case you didn't know.), then press the y button on your controller. The screenshot will save and you can download it off of a Xbox DVR site later. For reference, here is the website I use for my own screenshot downloads: https://xboxdvr.com/

It worked after having had the console shut down entirely post update. Thanks anyway.

I’m assuming this pertains to the Horizon Racing Cup?

There is actually a second Hoonigan, which is labeled as "V2" and currently in the Forzathon shop.

At first I thought it was the same Hoonigan you can buy for $500K in the car shop, but nope, this is version 2.
I'm assuming they added Forza Horizon 3 cars as the originals and for FH4, they made "V2" of all of them?

I'm aware of that. It would still be labeled under Hoonigan if he had the car.

Yeah true. I just didn't realize there was a "version 2" to begin with. Wish the news made it clearer, maybe some gamers skipped on it thinking it's the same car from the car shop.

Technically though, "V2" is the one that in the FH3 pack and the one that shipped in this game, the Forzathon one from this week just has a different paintscheme to reflect the one that will appear in his next Gymkhana video (and 5 PI difference for some reason.)

V2 with the twin turbo 14xxhp V8.

You don't think he has put the supercharger bonnet on, then for whatever reason its been unequipped and that's what this whole saga is about.
