So the 65 Ford Mustang with scoops that is now gone, replaced by one without scoops, did I miss why that happened? If it was explained I missed it, sorry.

I dont know if is the same car otherwise.

Cant be the only player this happened to.

Really? This was explained to you several pages back. There are 3 different 65 Mustangs. 65 Mustang GT, Hoonicorn 65 Mustang, Hoonicorn 65 Mustang Gymkhana 10.

The last two will have turbochargers sticking out of the hood. The first one is a stock 65 Mustang GT.

I really love these new paint additions

Seems pretty solid. Have to check into this as soon as I pry my girl away from Fallout 4.

I just want to paint the tail section on my Daytona!

Unfortunately, though, nothing seems to have changed on the multiplayer side. Still seeing low player counts in PvP events in Horizon Life, and I'm still jumping to another HL session after finishing an event. =/

Wonder how much longer it's gonna be until they improve it...?

I am seeing massive improvements myself. Most lobbies I have checked have been 50+ at minimum.

I meant when you start a PvP event on the map and it tries to notify the players, only to result in like 2-3 people joining. It's been this way since launch.

They seriously need to redesign that notification in the corner there.

Offtopic, but I want to talk about Mitsubishi again. Are there loopholes Turn 10 and PG can use to get around this licensing issue? Like perhaps license re-badges from Chrysler and Proton?

Or an Eagle Talon?
I would think so, unless Mitsu owns said company.

I wonder if the HKS CT230R could return? Kind of like how the Toyotas in FH4 and FM7 are those modified or raced by a third party.

The wheel painting feature is really nice, this has been a great update all round - I especially like that you can skip automatic spins now, so you can rush straight to the disappointing result. I forgot to even try to skip the post-race screens in the events I did...

The only thing I'm not such a huge fan of: I kind of wish civilian traffic could be turned off or turned down, I apparently got really used to having the roads to myself! I guess I'll have to go back to the airstrip to grind skill points instead of just drifting everywhere I go.

@SuperKlonoaGT I totally agree, the way those notifications work is the worst. The whole thing is bad, actually. I keep an eye on that anyway because I like to join whatever I can (for the most part), but given the limited time you have to decide whether you want to do something or not, the information is really poorly presented in terms of helping you make a quick decision. It doesn't even say if the event is co-op or PvP, either.

Then there's the fact that it then shows you your garage sorted differently to how you normally see it, making it difficult to navigate again - it should default to sorted by manufacturer, it confuses me as it is and I almost always pick a bad car. I've started going straight to 'borrow host's car' recently because it's too difficult to pick my own quickly. My favourites list is being used as a bookmarking thing rather than a shortlist of actual cars I'd use, but even if it wasn't there will always be occasions where the pool of cars is big and I don't know what I want to use. The garage UI is pretty bad as it is too, not something you want to navigate and make a quick decision with.

Then there's the fact that you can't tune the car between choosing it and starting the race. Would it be so hard to give us 20 seconds to use the setup manager to either download one or load a saved one?

That Eagle company was part of Chrysler when it was Chrysler-Jeep-Eagle.
I know, I should have specified Proton because I have no idea what that is.

But any Fiat/Chrysler shouldn't be an issue.

And I had one of them with turbo sticking out of the hood, and it has disappeared and one without turbo is in my cars now. I dont know why that is the case though.

I raced the one with turbos many many times, then the day I first mentioned it here, it was gone from my cars.

I know I had the car because I always had to change the view, couldnt see over the turbos. I didnt auction it and if I deleted it I sure as hell dont know how.

The one I had was a solid white, 65 Ford Mustang which appeared entirely stock other than the turbos in the hood. I dont have it now. I have what appears to be the same care without turbos. Doesnt make sense to me and this has been my question from day one.

Why? Did I remove the one and maybe had the other one and didnt know it? I cant make sense of it, I have never removed one by mistake.

So I will now forget about it. I was asking if anyone else had a similar experience or maybe the car I had, that the game makers lost the rights to and it was removed, just trying to figure it out is all.

Yup, I was referring to Chrysler as a whole since Mitsubishis have been rebadged across multiple Chrysler brands during the 80s and 90s. The Chrysler Conquest (Starion), Eagle Talon you mentioned (Eclipse), the Dodge Colt (self-explanatory), Dodge Stealth (3000GT/GTO). Between them and Proton for having rebadged Lancers/Mirages (including rebadged Lancer Evo Rally Cars), I think Turn 10 and PG can recover a good chunk of significant Mitsubishi models without violating the license. That's however if I turn out to be correct.

Here's a Proton Rally Car for reference (I forgot the rebadge's name).

I don't think that can be the case unless they're considered a car brand and I just don't know about it. The issue with Mitsubishi is similar to Porsche, so I assumed that modded Mitsubishis are off the table as well. Just like how modded Porsches were off the table during EA's exclusive reign with Ruf being the only saving grace since they're a car manufacture.

Look under Hoonigan and not Ford.

RUF's aren't rebadged Porsche's?
A good decade back a family member dated someone that worked at a RUF dealer, and all they did was bring Porsche's in and modify them, rebaged as a RUF.

As for the HKS car, I'm not sure, it's hard to believe Toyota just licensed a couple a race cars and refused everything else but I don't know.

All RUF uses from the Porsches are the chassis. Everything else is made by RUF.

They do convert Porsche cars to RUF cars, but those are usually customer requests.

They were modding Porsches at first for a short period of time (IIRC). Now as Stang616 said, they take Porsche chassis and put their own parts on them. Everything from the interior to the mechanical parts is all Ruf, thus why they've been considered a car manufacture for a while now.

In which as I said previously is how Polyphony Digital and other developers were able to license Ruf cars as a substitute for Porsche models.

I can't remember the exact specifics, but the German government classifies Ruf as a manufacturer since something like 51% or more of the car's components are not from the original manufacturer. It's also why Alpina and Brabus are considered standalone brands.

That Proton rally car was just a rebadged Evolution, I think. The first proper Proton rally car was the Satria Neo S2000 (the one in Top Gear).

Would be interesting to see a Proton Satria GTi or a Putra in the game, since those were basically a Mirage and a 2 door Lancer in disguise.

The Weld Alumaster Beadlock looks to have quite a number of beadlocks missing.

As in every single one of them (there's also a gaping hole where the center cap should be):

This is what it's meant to look like:
