I'm fairly certain it only means things like the retractable bumpers and what not.

My point is that the cars in the 007 DLC seemingly aren't available with stock appearance, which is kind of disappointing for model purists like myself, but also weird because the BMW Z8 doesn't have a direct counterpart in the main game like the 007 Aston Martin DB5 has.

No reason why interior cant be modeled as it's not really doing any function.

The reason would be that some players care more about model authenticity than Bond modifications, function or not.

I will not deny the system where the car is unlocked according to the achievement of the game. Such a system gives motivation to play games to get a better car.
However, I think that vehicles that have already unlocked should be easily re-acquired. We don't have to wait to be added to Forzathon Shop or buy what we monopolized by "Legendary" at the auction house.

Classic Forza was doing well with this system. And in recent years Need For Speed Payback has adopted this system.

And although this is my personal opinion, even if there are one million cars not interested, will not substitute for my favorite car.
Even if it is said that there are Bugatti Chiron and McLaren Senna, nothing changes. It became very difficult to own multiple favorite cars.

I'm very dissatisfied with the fact that not all cars are in Autoshow. Not Forzathon shop and wheelspin.
These systems are useful for the purpose of giving a sense of accomplishment playing games, but should be added to Autoshow after unlocking.
They didn't learn anything from FM7 failure. It's a shame.

* I’m looking forward to FH4 very much. But at the same time I hate that many cars will be exclusive.

Don't you remember the barn finds in FH3? Not in the Autoshow and everyone loved unlocking those cars. The controversies surrounding car unlocks in FM7 were entirely different, as there was no way to obtain until Turn 10 felt like offering the chance through community events.

Ah, I didn't get that from what you wrote. I thought you were just wondering if the functionality was there as that's all it looked like. It's a bit unfortunate really, and you can't really use a licensing excuse to save money or anything as I'm sure there'll be some sort of duplicate vehicle in the game.

Midnight Battle / Barn Finds was very few. (but I hated that RX-7 was locked)
However, more cars are missing in the FH4 auto show.
I guess those cars are unlocked in one of barn finds / jobs / house.
I think that such exclusive vehicles should not be increased, and that these cars should be made available for purchase at the auto show after unlocking.
I will not deny the system to unlock the car as the game progresses.
However, I think that unnecessary efforts should not be required after unlocking.

Since you're talking about FM7, it is not being increased. In fact, it's being decreased rather significantly. However, I do get your point and wouldn't mind purchasing a few models after the initial unlock.

The amount of unlockable cars is not a big concern of my own because career progression in Forza Horizon is usually very fun. And the more things I can unlock while having fun, the more motivated I am to reach the end. I agree it would be nice to have all cars available from the Autoshow after unlocking them, but the annoyance is incomparable to the ******** FM7 pulled for almost a year. My response was only triggered by your remark that nothing has been learned since the initial locked car failure in FM7.

Is this a VIP car? It has a DLC symbol and is a Forza Edition car...
Pagani Zonda R Forza Edition? Think I saw it in one of the gameplays, with the gold and black wrap.

EDIT: Another one leaked...
He just can't help but to spoil it at 3:25 Ford Transit Forza Edition

How do people feel about the car selection screen? The new layout with smaller thumbnails layered in grid obviously makes it faster to select cars, which is welcome, but I miss having a large thumbnail image for the highlighted car. Hard to explain, but the large highlighted car images in FH3 made car scrolling a relaxing pastime in its own right. Although I collected several hundred cars in recent Forza games, I never got tired of scrolling through them all from beginning to end every now and then. This aspect has arguably been "nerfed" with the new garage layout. Less of a celebration for each car now.

Mind speaker volume if exaggerated YouTuber excitement is not your cup of tea.

I quite like it to be honest. I'm really starting to hate the FM7 Forzavista style. Also like the new livery display layout.

Yeah, the high-resolution models used in FM7's garage weren't the right way to go. FM6 and FH3 handled it better in my opinion.

I wonder how functionally different the VIP Zonda R will be to a normal Zonda R now that you can apply whatever bonuses to every car in the game.

Yikes, it's using the FM7 sound sample instead of the much better FH3 one.

Yeah while that sounds bad, but look at the comment section they're all complaining about it when at the end of the day, sound doesn't matter.
