Forza Horizon 4 - Master Car List

I think a few new cars were confirmed in that IGN Gameplay uploaded a few hours ago.

I'm going to take quick stab at a car list, I think a lot of road going stuff from FH3/FM7 won't make the cut in FH4. Just like a lot of FH2/FM6 road going stuff didn't make it in to FH3. Especially when you account for VW returning.

2010 Abarth 500 esseesse (probably a traffic car again)
2012 BMW M5 F10
2011 BMW X5 M
2016 Nissan Titan XD Warrior Concept
1971 Plymouth GTX 426 Hemi

Especially when you account for VW returning.
Is it confirmed that VW is returning? I know we've seen the GRC Beetle, that Desert Bug from FH2, and some sort of Baja Bug. But we haven't seen any production VWs yet. I'm just worried we might have another Toyota situation here.

Not confirmed that production vehicles are returning, but you'd think that if they couldn't get those for FH3 but now can for FH4, that production based vehicles would be in the game.

I'm going to guess VW is in since the cars we've seen were absent in FH3, so it doesn't appear that they are available via backdoor methods like Toyota is.

Hmmm. The more I try cut stuff, the more and more obvious it becomes that I think another manufacturer is going to axed. A big one too.

Some potential candidates; (Manufacturers that haven't been spotted yet)

Chevrolet
Mazda
Alfa Romeo
Holden / HDT / HSV
Maserati
Renault

If not, there's going to be major cuts to a lot of the manufacturers line-ups. We'll see though.

I'll definitely get to updating the OP at some point in the coming days. Real life (and trying to stay on top of the E3 news cycle) has occupied most of this week, so as soon as things calm down I'll start combing through the thread. Thanks for hunting down the cars guys — keep the posts coming! 👍

I am gonna be so bummed to lose 100 cars(apparently)(from the 550ish in the final FH3). Besides the Hot Wheels and Forza Editions, I really don't want to lose any. I actually like the Hot Wheels, but I could stand to lose them honestly.

Fh4 is stating with more cars than fh3 started with(450) if you consider they will add at least 200 cars; were in good shape

I can’t wait to cruise around in the old British Sports Cars!

You are the hero we deserve sir. I can only hope you have a wheel to truly experience it.

And as far as Toyota's go, I'd rather have Porsches ftw

I can’t really moan about the quantity of cars, it is good, I think it’s just a bit of a shame that horizon misses out on some motorsport road cars, especially considering 1. How well these games do and 2. The fact that this is a game for road cars

How crazy would it be if GM grew a set and told Microsoft, "Clearly the whole 'SS' thing bothers you, so we decided to do you a favor: No more licenses for any of our brands. Have fun with the PR fallout."

It would be a very bad thing for GM, MS/T10/PG and the fans, so it would be a very crazy thing indeed.

Heh. The PR fallout would be significantly worse for GM which, y'know, would have to justify their insistence about the "SS" branding, amongst other things.

Looking at the trailer i found some more cars... looks like a Morgan Aero SuperSports and a Subaru Legacy

Good spot on the Morgan (which was part of the thumbnail leaks IIRC), but the other car doesn't look terribly like a Subary Legacy to me... And it has plastic bumpers. Possible traffic car?

Afaik, there should be 100 manufacturers in FH4. There are 94 manufacturer in FM7. Auto Union, Brabham, Chaparral, Eagle-Westlake, Formula E will be cut(89). We getting Austin, Ascari, Morgan, Eagle, Morris, Peel(95). So, at least 5 new manufacturers will be included on top of already leaked.

I dont think they will cut manufacturers, but more likely some vehicles with more powerful version(Viper, AMG GT, Vantage, etc).

You're not accounting for a number of manufacturers in FH3 that are likely to return; Reliant, Baldwin Motorsports, Tesla, Talbolt, Terradyne, Sunbeam.

I'm still trying to finish it up, but it's not the no. of manufacturers that is the issue, but that 450 number. I can make that number quite easily if something like Chevrolet was cut completely. If not, then a lot of manufacturers need to have there line-ups thinned out. Especially from FH3.

What they could also be doing is taking these cars out for Forzathon rewards in the forzathon shop, and not advertising them in the car count like FM7 did. At least that's what I'm hoping but who knows at this point. 450 is still a great number regardless.

So how exactly do the weekly car list reveals work? How many cars are usually revealed in a week, and will they start earlier than FH3, due to having more cars?

They show up as articles on the Forza site and usually highlight a few followed by a list of others. I wouldn't expect anything until the last couple weeks of July though as that's when the reveals for the past couple games have began.

do you really think that any of these manufacterers are going to be cut, sans Holden since we aren't in Australia anymore? Come on. Just give it time.

I'm not seeing any major manufacturers getting completely cut. I could certainly see some of the smaller manufacturers with only 1-2 cars getting the axe though. Eagle (U.S.), Hummer, GMC, Hennessey, Meyers, Tamo, Spania, SRT, W Motors and Zenvo are probably the most likely with Lola and Radical being possible cuts. I wouldn't be surprised to see the U.S. muscle car selection get cut down a little as well.

The cars missing from FH3 were too random, so therefore my guesses for the FH4 car list are equally wild. I mean, FH3 doesn't even have the Nissan 300ZX.

The car list reveals cannot come soon enough.
