Thank you for completely ignoring the question. Read it again.
I’ll answer it for you, you can’t. I don’t even think it’s an official feature as it isn’t listed anywhere as a control or feature. If you don’t want to use it, don’t do the things you need to do to activate it.

Here's my review after finishing most things offline. I haven't played much online yet given the glitches and I want to get more vehicles first, but I may do another video that specifically reviews online.

I have just analyzed the licenses gathered from the team credits and found these interesting licenses that could hint at more cars coming to Horizon 5 (not sure):
  • Brabham (BT62?)
  • Felino Inc. (Felino CB7)
  • NiO Performance (EP9)
  • Rivian Automotive LLC (R1T or R1S?)
  • SAIC Motor (MG Motor UK Limited License?; Remember, the MG 3 was leaked in Horizon 3)

Somehow, the credits also mentions an FCA Italy license, with Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Fiat and Lancia being used in the game, although it could be FH4 leftovers, along with other non-returning brands (Ascari, ATS, Peel, Guntherwerks, Emory Motorsports and Singer Vehicle Designs)

The Rivian would be cool, the Long Way Up series camera crews used Rivians to drive up South America, including Mexico, so that would be cool.

FCA license makes sense as Maserati are still there, but it's also obviously expected that the other manufacturers will feature eventually.

Is the daily challenge ‘crowd-pleaser’ also not updating for anyone else? I completed the showcase event vs the jet skis and also On a Wing and a Prayer. I won both (which isn’t even required) but no progress. :(
I did Wing and a Prayer and it didn't register as complete. I then did Catch Me If You Canyon and it registered after that.

Struggling to get the 2 Awesome Drifts with the GTR for the Forzathon Weekly though as I only end up with E-drifts.

I’m at work now so I can’t look it up, but I downloaded a tune I think called “AWD Drift” or something like that, it made it pretty easy with with the tune.

A lot of times they will have “drift tune seasonal” or something like to that effect, any of those tunes usually work well.

Someone gifted me a 370Z drifter, but I already have one,I'm going to fully tune it and gift it on.

Edit: I put a grip tune on it and sprayed it some kind of matte silverish colour,I specified to those helping the community and have hidden it where the Toyota baja truck was found and now I'm about to do the same to my own one.

Ok great, I will try the canyon showcase as well then!

I had no problem whatsoever doing the 2 awesome drifts with the GT-R, I don’t even remember how I did them. And my GT-R is barebone stock. Probably by far the easiest way is to get on top of a mountain (the one north of Mulegé for example), speed down and trigger drifts/slides that way. It should be easy to do long drifts without initiating them with the E-brake.

I just installed a random drift tune and did the race that goes all the way up the mountain on the paved side, took about 2 turns.

Will try the canyon showcase once I unlock it.

I had to try a couple of races - did a sprint style road race with long fast curves and just got up to well over 100 and then tapped the brake (not the e brake - a habit for me already) while turning in with stock tune. Kept getting Ultimate Drifts that way too so you get more than enough angle and speed to get Awesome Drifts. Good luck!

Check the normal Charger's skill tree for an extra surprise. ;)
Yup, I know about it already. ;)
I sort of looked at some of the collector's car unlocks. Part of me thought of waiting to find out how to unlock them as a surprise, but I lost patience and looked them up. It's how I already have the Diablo GTR.

It did indeed unlock it.

Also, Playground Games are bloody awful, they could be great if they actually put effort into making people play correctly (or just remove the whole team element and make it free for all). Zombie for some reason only lasted 30 seconds per round, king was ok and flag rush was just painful... than I got disconnected before the end so I have to do the whole thing over again.

it seems the headphones option for audio gives you a bit more bass on the car sounds. Anyone have a different set up they like?

I see the tradition of hiding bonus boards in completely rude places is still going strong.

Also, I have to wonder why the game doesn't bother to let you know that doing head to head races in solo mode gives you money. Winning a medium difficulty one will give you about 4,000 or so CR, and if you use a car with a perk that increases it they're a much faster way to earn credits than by doing proper races. I think I raked in about 150,000 or so just by testing out car setups for an hour and didn't even realize it.

Picked up this game yesterday. It’s ok. The world is pretty bare and lifeless though.
Barely any houses, no people outside of the races and festival. And I’ve not seen a Flamingo since the opening sequence. In fact I don’t think I’ve seen any wildlife at all.
When in Horizon life there’s very little traffic.
The lighting is nice and some areas are nicely done but the vast majority of the map is a barren wasteland.

Yeah kinda boring, see birds flying off when going through parts, barely anyone has cars, did notice plenty golf carts but no sign of a golf course :) prefer the UK map and missing vibration effects ain't making the game that enjoyable either.

Well I’m enjoying it. It’s a good game for sure. Just a bit lifeless outside of the events themselves. Still plenty to do and collect. Noticeable that not a lots going on in the world that’s all. But for the price of a couple of good takeaways it’s a good value on hours played and fun.

Oddly, I was just talking with my son about the various wildlife I have come across, and how varied the landscape is. "Don't hit the chickens", "watch out for thise rams", and then stopping for the dog in the middle of a random village in the jungle.

For all of that though, there seems to be a distinct lack of people around.

There is hardly any traffic cars, even less than FH4 I think...
