I used a stock Porsche 911 GT3 RS for road circuits/routes, so beating those times shouldn't be too hard with a tuned car. For dirt routes I mainly used Willys Jeep with Don Joewon Song's A800 tune. Absolutely hate how fast and easy to drive that car is, but it got the job done quickly :dopey:

I normally don't pay attention to rivals as I rather drive completely stock cars and those don't do too well on rivals leaderboards
Unless it's drifting :P. I remember going back and forth on one of the expansions with your scores.

After playing 23+ hours over the last week (which actually felt longer - in a good way), I'm still waiting for the restoration of one of my barn finds:
Ferrari 250 GTO

This was one of my first 5 barn finds, so I'm not sure what's taking so long. Yes, I did click on it and it's still 7,500,000 credits for an early completion (I think it's still being painted). Those who've already received this one, how long did it take?
Well in a way, it makes sense for the car to take so long to restore.

I do wonder if I discovered it too "early" or out of sequence and that's affected the wait time. It's been so long that I have to remind myself that it even exists since it's been a week or more since discovered.

Yeah, about that Jeep...may wanna take another shot with it.

Won the Deberti drift truck in a wheelspin and I cannot believe how good that thing is to drift. Just assumed it looked good but wasn’t like a Formula Drift car. But this thing is lit. I can hold such crazy angles that I had to go back and check if it was AWD and it’s not. Surprise of the car list so far.

Alright, I don't mean to bring some negativity here, but it's a talking point I want to discuss.

I hear some complaints about this game for being too similar to the last 2 Horizons, like this guy for instance:

However, my issue with this argument of "the game is a copycat of FH3 & 4, thus it sucks" is they don't seem to ever explain how they should change the next game to make it feel more like a new experience. Seriously, what can you do in the next Horizon to make it feel like a complete game? Without alienating some of the audience that likes how the series is now.

Looks like some people got a LOT of free time in their hands, don't they?

Prestige 10; Level 1265
I got gifted a Sesto Elemento FE, but since I already had one I put it on the auction house and it sold within seconds.
Can't blame them for desperately wanting a definition of insanity that is the Sesto FE. :P

On another note, i finally reached Prestige 1 after winning a 5-lap Goliath race against Pro Drivatars, then bought out most of the clothing with the 1,5m i had before going broke and proceeding to burn through all my 20 Super Wheelspins with WAY less chances of being awarded clothes.

With all the money earned from the Super Wheelspins, i bought out the few remaining expensive clothes i left behind, then blasted through all my 185 Wheelspins. I recorded a video to be uploaded on Youtube, but can't because of 15 video per day limit, so i'll host it tomorrow.

I'm pretty sure that level isn't even possible. Levels reset with Prestige at level 200, I thought. That's a modder.

There's actually 10 Prestige levels in the game, with each one requiring a higher level before proceeding to the next one.

It's from FH4, of course, but it also applies to FH5.

FH3 & FH4 don't even feel similar to me & as a result, FH5 does not feel like a copycat of FH4. To me, the map alone makes a massive difference b/c of the variety of environments (to no fault of FH4; I understand you can't just start introducing random biomes into England's environment) allow for different racing experiences, esp. with the off-road trails. The more I play it, the more I feel like this game takes what FH3 did and just improved on all of it. I've said before FH3 is my favorite & I think FH5 is definitely getting right up there with it.

That being said, it's probably still a modder, there's no way even someone using the current exploit methods leveled up THAT quickly. Either way, it will most likely be for nothing and either draw a ban or end up getting the account reset.

Don't really think there is a way to completely remake the game for the next one, just the map. So far this is atleast my favorite map out of 2-4. If they push it more sim they'll lose a huge chunk of their player base, if they push it more arcade, they'll be going further away of what the point of the game is.

Won the DeLorean thanks to the seasonal Festival Playlist and was let down to discover that none of the engine-swap options included choices for either the concept-stage Wankel rotary engine or the early-choice Ford Cologne V6 from the Ford Capri. So much for a theoretical shoulda-been DeLorean with Cosworth power, even if the other swaps elevate it past its real-world "sluggish Esprit" performance. Looks like you can give it the ridiculous super-limited gold-plated paint job it was briefly offered in, though, which is cool/stupid in a way that only the 1980s could permit.

Now let's get the other great car from Back to the Future in the game.

Right. If Prestige 10 is 2999, how can he be at 10 with 1283?

It shows your position on your own personal leaderboard, containing you and any friends who play the game. If you're the only person on that leaderboard, you are indeed the slowest person, as well as the fastest.
Thanks for the clarification - showing where you stand in the world would have made much more sense in my opinion.
