It only worked if the unbuyable car was first on its manufacturer's list in the car collection screen, but yeah you could get some wheelspin-only cars that way provided you had the credits to buy them. Most of them are absurdly expensive though, so that was a bit of a limiting factor which likely kept it in check among those who did know about it.

So, like the DMC-DeLorean!
 
Fixed Ultra, go ingame and my gpu is constantly at 99% usuage even in menu, never went that high in extreme mode sigh, having to go down too 1920x1080 , still looks as good, was only getting 52fps on 4k yet was locked at 60 before patch. no big deal

Among some others, yeah. I doubt you'll see them flooding the auction house anytime soon though.

I didn't think they would change the car mastery as it wasn't an exploit, you used it normally and got the reward. What they mean is they messed up on balancing the game.

Well yeah, putting an easily obtained super wheelspin on one of the cheapest cars in the game was something of a head scratcher.

In other news, look what else is working now!

Is anybody else's game stats showing 16/14 Barnfinds? I noticed it last night and after the update today.

Also I have just 2 roads to find and struggling to find any tiny hints of grey anywhere. Also says I still need to discover 2 landmarks.

I'll check mine tonight, but maybe this means the 2 expansions will have one barn find each.

Have you received any gifts from players? Wondering if that ties into the barn finds for some odd reason, since they get collected from an actual barn?

Started up Horizon Arcade and...absolutely nothing changed. Cool. Well worth the wait!

Yeah, they still haven't figured out the underlying problem of lobbies being emptied as soon as the event starts. I had six people all piled up in the circle for my first attempt, and sure enough as soon as the timer hit zero, they all got Thanos-snapped and I was basically in a solo instance. And even though I stuck it out and managed to finish round one by myself (go go Drift-lorean), I never saw another player for the rest of the time I was driving around.

Oh well. Back to solo mode then, since the arcade is really the only reason to bother with online.

I have found all 14 barnfinds and had more than 2 gift drops.

On a side note, I really have played a few of those Game of the Year nominated games, Resident Evil Village was great. It Takes Two is one of the funnest games I’ve ever played, if anyone here has younger siblings or children (think about age 9 or so and up) it’s a really awesome game. I played with my GF’s daughter who is 10 and we had an absolute blast. You can play online or local co-op, it is co-op only though. You don’t have to play with children, it’s fun with other adults as well.

That was my immediate (read: typical) experience after the patch as well. Now, other people are actually visible. It's crazy that something that should work is exciting. :grumpy:

Hmm. Maybe it's just a case of other people being unpatched, then. Guess I'll give it a day or two for everyone else to get updated and try it again, that'll give me time to keep blasting away at the mountain of Rivals leaderboards. Only.... 73 to go, I think!

Or if you have 388,000 Cr and don't want to wait, hover your cursor over the S7 in the Car Collection screen in the pause menu, then exit and then re-enter. It'll then give you the option to purchase it using the Y button or equivalent.

It's probably cheaper to buy them out at the default price of 273,000 Cr but this tip can still help with some of the harder to find cars. Note that this only works with wheelspin exclusives which are the first car in their manufacturer category as the cursor jumps back to the first position when re-entering Car Collection.

I wouldn't say they were absurdly expensive, far less than a million credits in most cases I tried.

I found a couple that were 15 million, so there were definitely some bank breakers in there. I think they might have been future seasonal prizes though. Ah well, moot point now I suppose.
 
Mines crashed doing a fast travel , on restarting says an update but does nothing on clicking it in xbox app. I have already done the update unless there is another lol

They still haven't run the server fix yet until tomorrow morning so there may still be a few glitches.
