Apparently, Playground Games has created a new Wordle, teasing a Series 5 Car Pass car, which is that of the Toyota Tundra TRD Pro that was leaked weeks ago. Here's the exact Wordle:

This gives me a small feeling that the leaked cars Admeister has posted here very recently (The 3 Toyota TRD Pros, M8 and the latest Audi RS models) can be the Series 5 cars + the Nissan GT-R Nismo, based on the current Wordles given, but let's find out soon. @TheAdmeister, can you clarify if the GT-R Nismo's wheel textures have been added along with the TRD Pros, or if it existed since Day 1?

I'm out of luck. Not enough money for an XBox. I'm going to miss out on this week's Playlist. I'm not so concerned about the cars because they'll be available in the Auction House. It's the shirt in the Forzathon Shop. I like that shirt. I want that shirt for my avatar. And the way PG are with items like this, this might be the only time it's ever available.

Sadly, my home computing is an iPad and that's it. My only family is my sister and she's so computer-adverse, she doesn't even own a cell phone. The only thing I can think is if someone loads my profile on their XBox or PC, they could log in as me, buy the stuff in the shop I don't have and then log out again. I did that for @RazorSharkz a few years ago when he had to be away from his XBox for a week and was going to miss out on the Hot Wheels Twin Mill. With his permission, I put his profile on my XBox, logged in as him, won the race that got him the car, and then deleted the profile. When he got back to his XBox, a shiny new Twin Mill was waiting for him.

Not sure if you have GamePass Ultimate, but if you do, you can launch xCloud on any device (where it's available) and "stream" the game. Might be worth a try as a backup method.

Had no dramas with the playlist this week. Jumped into a Ferrari and each part triggered without issue. I never got it to work last week, even trying a few times each day with a multitude of German and American cars.


That treasure chest is a bugger to hit this week. I ended up brute forcing it with the Tankpool.

I'm sure you've checked, but are you positive you've solved the clue correctly?

If you have hit the required number of targets, the Festival Playlist tile for the Treasure Hunt changes from the car jumping through bullseyes into an image of the chest itself near the south entrance of the stadium.

That should also then trigger the red-zone "clue", which turns into the purpleyblue chest icon when you get close enough.

I routinely hide on top of trucks next to ramps during Playground Games events, so it wasn't that much of a pest for me You can also ramp onto the truck in front of the ramp truck, then reverse back fast with a little bit of right lock.

I really wish PG found a way to incorporate the Mod Cards from FM7 (not the cheaty ones from FM6, though) into the Horizon series... For those who didn't play it or are not familiar with it, you can "buy" packs of cards with in game currency that would give you different cards with various options that could stack on top of each others with finite uses, giving you bonus XP and credits by having you turn down certain driving aids or AI settings, but the ones I would really be interested in are the grid position modifiers. It's frankly one of the most annoying thing in this game (and FH in general) being stuck starting a race in 8th place with no way to change it, especially with cross-country races and the godlike AI that just blasts through every and any obstacle without ever slowing down.

FH3 used to give out packs of 1st place campaign race starts as reusable car mastery rewards.

Yes I've hit close to 50 Bullseyes. Also with the glitch, After you have done the first 5 the game takes you to the map as if you have done it but the red circle doesn't appear and the Chest doesn't spawn. (I've gone to the exact spot multiple times just incase)

Like I say this is first event I've experienced since launch that has been bugged so I guess I cant complain, As a lot of people have suffered a lot more from bugs, Especially treasure hunts.

Haven't been getting wheelspin rewards for the challenges and crashing anytime I try too paint the Volkswagen Golf R 2021, seems crashing down too latest nvidia drivers, have too turn off Ray Tracing.

I tried the reversing back thing a few times, but couldnt get it right. The tankpool ended up being big enough to clip the chest as it fell off the side of the ramp. lol. My precision jumping skills are clearly lacking.

I used the Alumi (or whatever it's called) buggy - drove up the ramp, 3 point turn, then slammed it forwards to hop over onto it.

After I couldn’t get the chest with my TT, I realised that going bigger would help, so I brought out the 6x6 and after some careful turning around, smashed the chest with ease

I guess this is one of the few situations where size, particularly length, does indeed matter

I'm having trouble with the treasure hunt. I tried different blueprint events to do the first part and I got a notification that I unlocked the treasure chest at one point, but the screen still acts like I never did it. I exited my game and replayed multiple times and it still hasn't showed up.

I tried doing some of those events again and still don't have it.

EDIT: Yup, I'm apparently one of the unlucky few that has another treasure event bug, oh 🤬 this game

That's weird. It worked for me when I did the Horizon Arcade Air challenges that features the bullseye. It'd never cross my mind to do a blueprint to complete said clue.

I actually tried that last night after making that post, but it still didn't work. THough yes, the blueprints supposably work, I've seen videos where players did indeed get the treasure after using a blueprint.

Ahhh okay. It really is a shame FH5 has so many bugs effecting it right now. I know it isn't much, but I recommend you keep trying until it eventually triggers the treasure hunt circle. Thankfully GT7 is just around the corner so PG can fix whatever it is messing up FH5.

Thanks for you input Toko, but I can already tell it's not going to work. I've tried at least 6-9 times now and didn't get another trigger, I think the bug is there until PG actually gets around to fixing it. Which could be forever as this bug apparently has been going on for a while.

Don't want to sound smart and I know this is ridiculous, but if I were you I would install the game on the last gen too. There are many cases when something broken on Series or PC works fine on One consoles. Hoping they would fix it before the Spring start is not realistic. It didn't happen with Series 2 and this bug is not so common either.

To add further to Strela’s post, I had an issue with FH not so long ago where the game simply refused to get past the loading screen on my Xbox Series X. I did manage to fix that by switching to Windows PC and use the nifty Play Anywhere feature to load my game there. Then changed back to Series X and it worked again. Later in patch notes I saw that PGG fixed an issue with the game sometimes not loading on Series X.

It’s indeed a good suggestion to always try out a different platform (if available) when you run into issues.

Thanks, but I'm not going to do that. I don't see a point in wasting an extra hour to install the same game just to earn 50,000 credits. and yes I agree that hoping it gets fixed before Spring is unrealistic, but I never said I was going to do that. I said I was going to wait until they fix it in general. I figured it was uncommon, most people have no problem with getting it.

It is a good suggestion, but I just don't feel it's worth doing over 50,000 ingame credits. I was hoping to use it as a means of getting 40 points, but the game of course decided otherwise. So, I did the trial instead.

Not sure if they tweaked the handling physics in this game compared to previous entries, but something feels different and for the better. Hard to explain and maybe I needed to mess with settings, but FH4, while still very good, felt weird to me in terms of the car's steering (in any car, with controller, not a wheel) and FH5 feels more responsive.

Having a blast just free-roaming. Got my GT3 RS 4.0 ripping up the mountain road.
