Don't forget the Wuling Hongguang S, alot of people whined about it and saying they would take it to the volcano where there's lava and see it burned to the ground.

It's this that angers me that we will never see city cars ever again in Forza because of these whiny idiots.
I remember that. Actually, the Wuling Hongguang S is a hoot to drift around!

Completed the last of the 3 championships and finally got a Ford RS200.

Completing that also got my Shelby Cobra Daytona unlocked for the festival accolades. Yay!

This week's trial has made me a bit miserable. Tried winning it 4 times and I keep spinning out in the first race, somehow I do something like miss a checkpoint, hit one of those stupid railroad support beam things, or one of my idiot teammates punts me off the road. Oh and my favorite, an AI car wrecks in front of me and slows me down. I hate it, I hate it, and I HATE IT!

The slow but interesting ones are the only ones I care about any more. I know we all have some hypercars in our collections, but you can only do so much with those. You can really make the slow cars your own in terms of modifications. Plus they help teach you the basics of car control, which is obviously something a lot of players desperately need lol.

There is a place for super/hyper cars but hopefully the developers keep giving us fun little cars like this.🤞

While I enjoy the addition of varied and characterful cars instead of just another generic sleek shape with a turbo V8 or several electric motors, the map design really doesn't lend itself well to slower cars. It's all six-lane-wide roads with long straights and gentle, sweeping corners, with the dirt roads being just as bad.

I think Blizzard Mountain is the last time there were any narrow, twisty roads, and even they were quite limited. FH4's UK map had one or two narrower roads tucked away at best, then Mexico has nothing - even the tightly-packed city is at least 4 lanes at its narrowest. I'd love to take the 205 Rallye out for a spin and not be in 5th gear for most of it, but every road on the map is designed to do 150mph+ at all times. Driving the Caterham in last week's championship was mainly a lot of flat-out running, and a total waste of such a nimble car.

I do agree the roads are wide in game in FH5. However, with a little bit of looking on the map it is possible to create twisting turning homebrew maps even if they aren't narrow. These can be fun in slower cars. I love making these type of circuits. I did loads in FH4 and am starting to do so in FH5 now. I have listed some on the creations page here.

I found it even easier than last week's trial. I took a stock 488 Pista and breeze through the races.

Okay... Series 5's gonna be revealed tomorrow, and here's what's confirmed so far, car-wise by the Forza Horizon social media accounts' Wordle puzzles.

Car Pass:
- 2020 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro

Reward cars:
- 2020 Nissan GT-R Nismo

I wanna know what you guys think on which cars could be added in Series 5.

I can't predict the entire lineup, but I think the Series 5 will probably be associated with Japanese brands, especially Toyota.
I wouldn't be surprised if Tundra, 4Runner, and Tacoma were added all at once, as they have done such series based on Mini and Porsche in FH4.

And the Japanese cars like Del Sol, Civic, etc. leaked from the game files could possibly be expansion 1 content.
Probably a lot of it is just clickbait disinformation, but rumors have been whispering that expansion 1 will have maps based on fictional cities, and the codename Nightlights given to this expansion lends credence to that rumor.

In these location, most users are probably want for Japanese cars, and models based on the so-called tuner culture of the early 2000s.
Probably about 3 out of 7 cars will be such Japanese cars, two will be some kind of european car, another will be an American car, and the remaining one will be a barn finds.

Sadly this is why I’ve gotten a little bored of FH5. Aside from the road up the mountain every other paved route is just a nearly straight road through a desert. I still feel like they could’ve done so much more with this map than they did.

Or just pure love and passion for the classic engines. No modern hypercar beats the sound of the Lola T70 or Jaguar XJ13 (just to name a few).

Same here, and I have fun hotting those cars up to different performance-levels & share some tunes
