I love the 2021 Mini John Cooper Works GP. It's now my favourite hot hatch in the game. It's one of the rarest cars I saw in real life so far (apart from the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ and the McLaren 765LT).

It is a great little car to drive in game. I tend to see a lot of various new Mini's, mostly on the back of car transporters. I live about 15 minutes away from the Mini factory in Cowley, Oxford.

So my guess is that either the F8 Tributo or the SF90 Stradale will be added as the prancing horse, which is great cause it’s about time since we get either of them though both would be ideal of course :D

As for ze German cars, I hope to god at least one of the leaked Audis will be added, but it could also be the M8 or the new 911 GT3 from the leaked list, but just like with the Ferraris, all of them would be best :D

Audi RS6 or RS5, BMW M8, 911 GT3 comes to mind for German cars, and i will be happy if someone of those are coming.
For "Cavallino Rampante" and the "L'Ingegnere" (Engineer in italian) i dunno. There is a plethora of Ferrari in this game, but the last ones are missing, F8 Tributo, Roma, SF90 Stradale comes to mind at 1st.
But if they put for Automotive Heritage (check the season six sneak peak in game) some cars from Carrera Panamericana? might the German and the Italian hint of Torben might refers to the 356 Speedster or the 550 RS and the 166 MM (o a new to series Ferrari, 340 Mexico for example, or the 375 Plus Escuadron 1-2-3 droved by Umberto Magioli)

L'ingegnere (the engineer) is the title of a book about Giulio Alfieri, an engineer at Maserati between the 50s and 70s (not to be confused with Alfieri Maserati, one of the Maserati brothers)

The cover of this book features a Maserati Bora:

I find it odd that the apparent German flag clue and the Cavallino Rampante, which is obviously pointing at a Ferrari, appear not to refer to a specific model.

Amazing find.
Giulio Alfieri was also the mastermind of the "Birdcage", the 250 F F1 and other amazing Maserati (3500 GT, A6G54...) plus the engine of the Citroen SM.

So the new Porsche 911 Speedster has a great detail where when you remove its roof, the windows go down as well, making it look so much better that way than with the windows up.

Unfortunately, out of all the convertible cars in the game, only the 911 Speedster and the Ferrari Portofino have their windows rolled down when you put the roof down.

It’s clearly not a modelling or a game engine issue, and I don’t wanna imply that it’s laziness from PG, but I still hope they patch the rest of the convertible cars in the game as well.

Could the inclusion of the torque equation reference a car which has a notable torque figure?

Perhaps the Fiat S76 Beast of Turin?

This is totally not me trying to shoehorn any clue PG give as confirmation of the Beast coming to FH5.. 😂

The gravity and torque equations probably have something to do with Rules of Play, as they're two of the current things you can currently set. The checkpoints (with LoC (?) pointing to G?) and distances (?) seem related, but you can already set torque and gravity when you go through a checkpoint, so that's not a tease of anything new. It could just be that they're there to tease something to do with the 4 red Fs?

Thursday clues to what I assume will be Series 7 content featuring hex color codes and... equations?

I'll base my guesses from the already leaked files.

Cavallino Rampante - Ferrari F8 Tributo (Badge was found in the files)
German Flag hex colors - Something German; If related with Cavallino Rampante, could it be a new Porsche (Boxster S/550 Spyder?)
2.076 - ???
l'ingegnere - Giulio Alfieri related clue. Maserati Alfieri? Or either of these cars that he designed (remember the GT70 Clue (Designed by Ercole) ):
  • Maserati 250F
  • Maserati Khamsin
  • Maserati Bora
  • Maserati 3500 GT
  • Citroen SM
  • Maserati Tipo 61 Bird Cage
"If T = rF sin x" is a torque formula

2.076 - Fiat S76 "Beast of Turin"? I feel that this has something to do with the torque of the S76 (2,000 lb-ft)

F = G(m1m2)/R2 = Newton's Gravitational Force Formula; So maybe an Eventlab mechanic (manipulate gravitational force)?

Remember that Series 7 would have an "Automotive Heritage Event" in it, so, we get at least one classic car (I'm looking at you, l'ingegnere), but I am absolutely not sure what the devs mean by "Automotive Heritage". Could it mean that it has something to do with:
  • Carrera Panamericana (This means that the possibility of a 550 Spyder or 356 Speedster may come)
  • "Cars throughout the decades"

Here are the parts that I still don't understand up till now (maybe you guys have some sort of explanation for these):

That was a good read. I've been a Hospital Records radio fan since FH2. It would have been nice if the interview had discussed why London Elektricity decided not to be a part of FH5, though.
Apparently, Tony "London Elektricity" Colman felt unwell at the time of recording (around 2019 or 2020) for Forza Horizon 5, so Andrew "Degs" Ndegwa filled in for the role of co-host of Hospital Records Radio. London Elektricity stepped down from managing the label last year to spend more time with his family, and currently, Degs is the current new host for the Hospital Records Podcast.

All good reasons for stepping back. I'm listening to Degs doing the latest podcast right now.

I hope their relationship with Forza will last forever.
I am someone who believes that faster music is essential to racing games. And not just Forza, today's racing games have become more "slow" songs due to open worlds and changing music trends.
If they are gone, I will only listen to Spotify.
I agree with you that I hope the relationship with Hospital continues as long as there are Horizon games. But if worse came to worst, I would listen to Bass Arena. The music slaps, and Scott Tyler is a great DJ with a really likable personality.

Wait a minute... The blue text above the third image on the lower right corner says "Ju(ne)ly", and the word next to it says "Landmark". So, could this mean that Expansion 1's gonna come in July???
