No, and why would that even be a problem, considering the only time OP cars is an issue is in Rivals? Will the bronco be OP'ed because it's on the cover?
I pre-ordered the controller. What can I say? I’m an easy mark for Horizon.
Unless it's WCW-era "rebellious spoiled rich kid" Raven.@Silver Arrows You're not supposed to quote Raven, dude.
love to get my hands on the demo tooSo we basically saw the demo.
When can we expect it on the marketplace?
The starter car is pretty much irrelevant when you consider how the game economy works. I was a millionaire and loaded with cars only a couple hours into the game with FH4.Also, in case anyone missed it, when you choose your starter car in FH5 (those being the Corvette C8 with the Streetfighter bodykit, the Bronco Badlands, and the GR Supra), you still get the other 2 cars in your garage and can switch to them later on.
Honestly, I'm not sure I like this change. If I do have any problems with the Horizon series, is that it doesn't have a great sense of progression. Just by starting the game, you get a (I imagine) high-performance track car, a solid off-roader, and a balanced all-rounder. I'd personally rather start up in a lower-mid tier car like we have for the last few games, and gradually build my collection to have a more diverse arsenal. I know you can still do that, but this new system kinda takes away some of the early-game fun imo.
i hope it comes sooner but ur prob right.Well, the FH4 demo was released almost 3 weeks before the release of the game (Sept 12 for demo, October 2 for the game.) If they choose to release a demo, maybe about the 2nd week of october? (FH5 release date: November 9.)
i know its tough but u can use this site to help notify u when it becomes available thats how i got mine https://www.nowinstock.net/The only issue with all we've been shown today is that there's still basically no way to buy the new gen consoles, just about 2 months before the game actually releases...
I mean, there's not really much that can be done by this point, is there? Really, it's just an issue of following trusted accounts who post stock updates, and being ready when the time comes. The only issue with all we've been shown today is that there's still basically no way to buy the new gen consoles, just about 2 months before the game actually releases...
Now I'm REALLY looking forward to PAX in a couple weeks. Just before release of FH4 a few years ago, the demo featured heavily at PAX. In fact, there was a demo and a race. Win a race and you won a Horizon shirt. So we basically saw the demo.

Yeah but let's be honest, this game will be a console seller, but there's no consoles available anywhere... I've been on the waiting list at my local Ebgam... I mean Gamestop, for nearly 3 months and they can't get an ETA from Microsoft as to when they'll receive any Series Xs. It's a bit ridiculous.I mean, there's not really much that can be done by this point, is there? It's the same version on one, pc, and series x. Just more beefed up on the newer gen console. Read that xbox one will run the game like it's a lower end pc. So def better once u get the Series X. Ps can confirm u don't need to worry about ur save or having to buy a separate game for all systems. Unless on steam. Like fh4 it got cross saves and has smart delivery. Bought it on series x and showed up on Microsoft store inventory on pc.I’m a bit concerned because I’ve preordered the Series X version of the game, but still can’t get my hands on a Series X console.
And to be clear, Series S is still 60 FPS, correct?Forza Horizon 5 Dev Says The Game Looks Great On Every Platform, Discusses Impact Of COVID
Playground Games boss Mike Brown discusses the differences between the various versions of Forza Horizon 5 and how the pandemic impacted development.www.gamespot.com
"
The main difference between the Series X and Series S editions of Forza Horizon 5 will be its capability to output in 4K on the higher-end model and 1080p for the Series S.
"Other than that, it should be more or less the same. The visual fidelity should be the same. You'll still get ray-tracing in Forzavista. Everything else should look as detailed and as glossy as it does on the Series X," Brown said."
Good news for Series S owners like myself.
We might be getting a small info dump on new cars soon.
I know that the FH5 cheat sheet that was posted after the game was announced had wording that made it seem like the Series S would be 1080/30, but that seems to be cleared up now.Why it wouldn't be? FH4 has a Series X/S upgrade and it only runs at 60 fps.
Unfortunately it's not there, and neither are the AMG GT S and the SL 65 AMG Black Series. This means the Mercedes-AMG One is the only new Mercedes in the game. Why it wouldn't be? FH4 has a Series X/S upgrade and it only runs at 60 fps.
They dumped all the M-B available at launch. I honestly want the SLR back...
Remember that in Forza, AMG and Mercedes are different brands, these are just the AMG brand cars so as for more new Mercedes we won't know until they show us the Mercedes list.Unfortunately it's not there, and neither are the AMG GT S and the SL 65 AMG Black Series. Regarding the SLR, it seems as there is still a confusion as to who owns the rights to the car: Mercedes or McLaren. However it's strange that other games (GT Sport, The Crew 2 and Asphalt 9) have it while Forza hasn't had it since Horizon 3.
Unusually, NFS Hot Pursuit Remastered doesn't have the SLR either (even the Stirling Moss, as compared to its original version which has both).
