I keep meaning to turn mine into Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds but I never get around to it.
It’s a colour scheme that looks just right.

For this I only used the colour white and layer masks, the factory base paint looked so good I didn’t bother with a custom colour.

I did say I wasn't bothered about the HW cars but that changed tonight, I was just about to go off for the night when I thought I would search and see if any were on the auction house. To my surprise a Rip Rod appeared on my first search but I didn't notice straight away so I thought I lost it so I just searched again but the same one was there! I pressed buy out and got it.

I then sniped my the two remaining ones I needed Dually and Mustang within 5 minutes. Result! Best thing is it didn't even really cost me anything neither as I got a duplicate Metro and 2Jetz and sold them for 20M each since the update.

Does appear to be a lot bigger then FH3's Hot Wheels map.

More roads to drive on, that is.
my prediction for series 10 cars are Spark Odyssey 21 (confirmed)View attachment 1172935 Rivian R1T (present in the game credits)View attachment 1172936Audi E-Tron RS GT (confirmed for FM) View attachment 1172937and the Volkswagen ID.R (returning car from FH4)View attachment 1172938
There's a chance the Italdesign Da Vinci (mistakenly mentioned initially as part of the HW expansion, Was leaked earlier) shows up here too.

I have a feeling that the Italdesign Da Vinci's gonna be one of the playlist cars, considering that Playground's committed some accidental reveals before (Koenigsegg Jesko being accidentally tweeted way back in 2020 being the one that I remember the most) that ended up true. Maybe that sudden blurb about the Italdesign Da Vinci on the Hot Wheels expansion announcement page on Forza.net may be something similar to the Jesko tweet. Don't forget some EVs that were present in the past Forza games (that may not come to Series 10):

  • Chevrolet Volt
  • Nissan Leaf
  • 2014 Tesla Model S (light and badge textures were found)
  • 2015 Tesla Model S P85D (no trace in files)
  • 2016 Tesla Model S P90D with Ludicrous Mode (badge texture found, somehow named p85d)
  • 2011 Tesla Roadster (no trace in files)
First time the Cupra brand appears in a Forza game even if it's only in skin form (a new brand based on SEAT, in which last appeared in Forza Motosport 4)

Would be interesting to see if they add any Cupra cars such as the Cupra Formentor to FH5
Both SEAT and Cupra may have the possibility to come back if this is the case, although there's no "SEAT S.A." mentioned in the license credits. New Hummer logo in one of these Extreme E cars gives me hope for the GMC Hummer EV appearing within FH5's lifespan.

The 2010 BMW M3 E92 GTS is spotted in an Achievements screenshot of Forza Horizon 5's Hot Wheels Expansion.

This and the CCX appearing in the Hot Wheels Trailer... It seems that the M3 GTS and CCX may end up being Festival Playlist cars, or Wheelspin rewards.

I honestly look forward for the BT62, 962CR and Subaru WRX STI VT18X (the correct name instead of WRX STI ARX Supercar).

I dread the Baja Bone Shaker, as for sure, it will break the CC/Dirt Meta, much like its on-road mess of a counterpart.

The Trailer for FH4's Fortune Island DLC featured both a 2013 Shelby Raptor and Jeep Wagoneer. Neither of them ever made it into the Game. The iROC Camero was also used in some Promotional image several months before finally coming to the game. And some pre-release gameplay footage from the devs had a McLaren P1 GTR which was never added to the game.

Really excited for the expansion, but I'm particularly excited for the Impreza ARX Supercar. Proper Rallycross cars are a lot of fun to chuck around, I'll also finally be able to put out a couple Rallycross Blueprints that I've been sitting on for a while, because I wanted to make sure that the Impreza is included in what I want to do.

I seem to recall reading somewhere (maybe on here) that VW has zero interest in licensing SEAT or Škoda to anything other than dedicated rally games, so I wouldn't get my hopes up.

Speaking of VW and licensing, anyone else starting to think that Abarth, Alfa, Fiat and Lancia are gonna get the VW FH3 treatment and just never be added? The Beast of Turin was found in some file names months ago, but I haven't seen a report of any more movement on that front (i.e. more filenames, textures and the like being added on the game's backend via updates).

Honestly wouldn't be shocked to see the Stellantis brands not return - people just assume they'll come back like Mitsubishi & Toyota have done. That isn't always the case though - look at Rolls Royce or Tesla for example. Nothing is guaranteed, which pains me to say cause I really miss my 155 Q4.

If the rumors are true, they would be making a foolish choice.
Seat used to be a brand that appeared occasionally in racing games.
They were not famous brands like Ferrari, Nissan, or Ford, but many fans got to know and like their brand and production cars through these video games.
It is very sad that they are giving up the opportunity to increase these potential fans.

I’m going to be the odd one out and say I enjoyed the event lab race. I’ve done it a few times now. It’s challenging but fun.

I’m actually really sad the car pass ended, I loved it and it’s my second favourite car pass in a Horizon game after the second one.

If they released another one for the same amount of time I’d buy it in a heartbeat, but I’ll settle for the free Festival Playlist cars :)

And we still have the Hot Wheels expansion as well as the remaining expansion(s?) to go, so I’m sure we’ll get more great new to the franchise cars in those.

All I want is the RS Etron GT, RS6, RS7, RSQ8 and the R8 V10 Performance and I’ll be satisfied, maybe the Chiron SS and Huayra R for good measure too :)

One more day until Expansion release! I actually bought Hot Wheels Unleashed and the majority of it's DLC on sale yesterday and now I'm even more hyped for FH5's expansion.

For those of you that have thought about it, but haven't pulled the trigger. It's 60% off, I think

I downloaded Hot Wheels replica liveries for most of the cars in FH5 while waiting for the Hot Wheels Expansion.

I've been building a lot of cars in preparation for the Hot Wheels expension, and too have been downloading HW liveries to go along with them. In fact, building HW-like cars has become my biggest favorite in FH5 lately, especially since there is so much freedom in building cars the way YOU want and that's what I love about it. :D

As I'm polishing the TCRF Article for FH5, this time adding the leftover files from the wheel textures, I have apparently stumbled upon unused variants of existing cars, as well as more new-to-Forza cars. These include:
  • 2017 Aston Martin #98 Aston Martin Racing V8 Vantage GTE (AST_98_V8Vantage_17)
  • 2018 Audi #108 CadSpeed Racing RS3 LMS (AUD_108_RS3LMS_18; may not be confused with the RS3 LMS that was already in FM7)
  • 2018 BMW #24 Team RLL M8 GTE (BMW_24_M8_18; may not be confused with the #1 BMW M8 GTE)
  • 2013 Chevrolet #7 Robby Gordon Stadium Super Truck (CHE_7_SST_13; Last seen in FH2's Storm Island Expansion)

The 500TR and Tyrrell P34 mentioned in the suspension files apparently has wheel textures stored in libraryao/wheels.

I am currently checking the libraryao/wheels folder for more interesting cars/leftovers.

Thanks for the digging. This is THE car I've been patiently waiting for since its introduction about a decade ago...

I know that this is not a guarantee by far that it will appear in next year's Forza Motorsport, but fingers crossed..

  • CHE_7_SST_13 (that, I do not know of)
I do not know if Chevrolet has any machines involved, but I would guess that "SST" refers to Stadium Super Truck (= 2013 Chevrolet #7 Stadium Super Truck?).
The Silverado SST is another Chevrolet vehicle that includes an "SST", but since this concept car is a 2002 model, it would not be an authentic "SST".

PS: The #7 Stadium Super Truck in 2013 was Robby Gordon's truck that only appeared in FH2.
This car has a cowl that looks like the Traxxas RC and Chevrolet should have nothing to do with it...could "SST" possibly be referring to this car?

The closest "2013 Chevrolet #7 Super Stadium Truck" that appeared in Forza is a Robby Gordon SST in Forza Horizon 2's Storm Island expansion.
