I haven't seen Forza Monthly so I don't know the truth, but if his post is correct, the body kit that will be added will probably be the Liberty Walk?

I don't recall the Liberty Walk body kit having any modeling errors that needed to be corrected.
By the way, this is the list of LB widebody kits that have not yet appeared in the game. (Except for the Ferrari)

The Extreme E race series that included the Las Dunas Croos Country race was just weird. I don’t know what was going on, but after the run down the west slope of the volcano, the car wouldn’t hit top speed any more. I could only get about 60 mph out of it for the rest of the race. I ended up last place by over a minute. I tried it a couple times with different Extreme E racers but always the same result. And if I finish last in that race, then there’s no way to win the championship.

So I tried something different. Instead of making it the last race, I restarted the championship and made it my first race. I still came in last place by more than a minute. But in the second race, I won, and the field basically inverted it’s finish order from the first race, so now I was second in the championship down by only two points. I won the third race and the championship.

It’s something I noticed before. If you do badly in the first race of a championship, the game switches up the finishing order of the second race to help you get back in the running. So the order in which you do your races matters. Have a bad last race and you lose the championship. Have a bad first race instead and you can still win overall.

I was thinking that I’d like a “surprise me” feature in the game while scrolling through the garage, like when you’re browsing all your games on your Xbox.

With so many cars and more coming, I sometimes struggle to decide what to drive and this would help a lot in that regard, and I don’t think it’d be hard to do.

For car enthusiasts who don't like AWD and Forza Aero Parts: Ferrari F8 Tributo 2020 S1 900 for The Trial.

Great to drive and fast too ^^

For those of you who don't know, Xpeng is quite a successful EV-dedicated brand here in China. We have NIO, Xpeng and Li (short for Leading Ideal) as the top 3 leading Chinese EV brands.
NIO has several mass production models, sedans (ET5, ET7) and SUVs (ES6, ES7, ES8) and a coupe-like SUV EC6. Xpeng has two sedans (P7 and a smaller P5, which is really bad-proportioned imo), and two SUVs (G3/G3i and G9). Li however, only has two large SUVs, called ONE and L9.
As a Chinese, I really love to see these Chinese brands being introduced to the game from time to time. We do have a large group of players playing Forza also (mainly on PC) but they don't often come here or the mainstream social Apps you guys use often to express their opinions for the reasons a) they really are more comfortable with Chinese language and b) the Apps are kinda blocked in China (including this website!)
The attached pic is a Xpeng P5 FYI.

I tried to scrub through Forza Monthly to find mention of the body kits being Liberty Walk but found nothing. Though the two Super Silhouette kits from LW do make a lot of sense - especially since the R34 has never had a kit in Forza and the S15 lost it's RB Kit.

Just happy to see them finally acknowledge the demand for more visual customization and hoping this is the start of something larger - but I won't get my hopes up

A good start would be re-introducing these kits from FM7;

2017 Acura NSX
1991 BMW M3 E30
1995 BMW 850CSI
2016 Cadillac ATS-V
2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1
2016 Ford Shelby GT350R
2016 Honda Civic Type-R
1997 Honda Civic Type-R (Ek9)
2010 Maserati Granturismo S
2016 Mazda MX-5
2016 Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupe S
1987 Pontiac Firebird Trans AM GTA

They already have done one with the ATS-V, why stop there? All these cars (aside from the 850CSi) are in the game too - and these are Forza kits so licensing shouldn't be an issue.

I've also thought it's silly why the 'rally parts' have been limited to rally themed cars as well - like plenty of people in the game build off-road versions of Skylines, Camaros, Chargers etc. There are performance parts that allow this, so why isn't there the visual parts to match? I want to build a cool looking off-road rally S13 god damn it. The rally parts are all in the game as well - mud flaps, lights, bars, roof scoop etc. Same with police lights, or building a track-oriented car - or if they wanted to expand drag racing - drag racing parts like wheelie bars, larger rear drag style tires etc.

They allow people to express themselves so much with the Livery Editor side of things, Events Lab and even the performance customization allows great build diversity - but the visual customization really lags behind which is a huge shame and a missed opportunity in my opinion.

My point is - the tools are all there to make the visual customization much better - PG just doesn't seem interested in doing so.

Why I bought the Fast and Furious pack of FH2.
This car was a movie car, but the KMC wheels and front and rear bumper bars made this car look like an off-road style car, which I loved.
There are already some off-road wheels available, so it would be nice if these generic bumper bars, light pods, and other relatively easy to add parts could be added to non-off-road vehicles to make them more "off-road-like" and customizable.

Vehicle licensing is a fickle thing too, some brands simply won't let you put custom cosmetic parts on specific cars for example, and their opinions/demands change from game to game. I wouldn't be so quick to play the "Playground don't care" card.

As for the speculation on bodykits, didn't somebody find Liberty Walk mentioned in the game's licensing credits?

Does anyone happen to know of the share code for the parking lot race from the play list?

I quite enjoyed it and want to exploit it for photomode shots. In the Playlist, I beat the 911 quite comfortably with the Megane R.26R, which is the type of match up I wish the plays lists would offer more regularly, instead of S1 or S2 classes with cars that are essentially way too similar.

Oh that's interesting.

I test out the EventLab races before they're active (just to get a feel; usually the parameters change for the Playlist event, with different cars or lap counts) and for this one I kept getting a rewind notification just inside the car park before the second hard left every lap but no "missed checkpoint" message. Haven't tried the Playlist event yet.

Also, how did an event with fewer than 30 plays and 20 likes get onto the Playlist?

I don't think anyone's going to have trouble with the Chest this week, but just in case:

They screwed up the 722 with a v12 audio file.

I checked the files on this one and no, it's actually a straight 8 as it should be. However listening to it it feels like all treble and almost no bass, giving it a bit of a buzzy quality. If I listen carefully I can kind of make out the 8 cylinder tone - that and the fact that it's listed as "SCV" (supercharged, vintage), suggest it's from something else (maybe an Alfa 8C) but with a bit of a tinny recording.
No sneaky new leaked cars in this update? I need the leaks!
Nothing I can say yet.
