I'm pretty sure this is your own car in these screenshots. I'm talking about other players' cars that are quite low poly in some cases.

Could this have anything to do with NFS unbound not having any Audis? I though it was a baffling omission, considering how they are pretty much in every single racing game out there.

I don't know.

There's lots of reasons a car brand is or isn't in a game these days. It's not my direct area of expertise or authority.

GRID Legends had a few Audis though. Side-note, some of the Nissan race cars in that game only have licensed liveries, probably for the same historic protection reason as the Quattro in DiRT Rally 2.0

Or alternatively what I've seen might just be to do with the next series, not the next expansion. Could go either way.

If the expansion is Baja themed, if would be a great opportunity for PG to expand on it's off-road customization. Would love to see the option of lift-kits for a number of road cars that make sense, like the Miata. Doesn't have to be on 100's of cars - but like 20 or so would be nice and bolster customization outside of Rocket Bunny/Liberty Walk.

Even if we got more of the generic rally parts on more road cars, that would be awesome. Everyone already builds wacky rally verisons of cars that don't make sense, so give us the appropriate customization to make that look more grounded in the world.

Interesting how the "New Expansion" was put for this specific Torben Tuesday, and the lion (aka Leon that is being hinted at) is the same name of a city. It's almost like all of it is coming together when you think about it. What I mean, the next expansion being city themed. I'm gonna go on a whim and say that's gotta be it!

I would put money on the 700 Raptor never showing up, I think if they could make it work it'd be in by now. I wouldn't be surprised if its engine gets used for something else though.

Good point, but where else are PG going to reveal it? AFAIK, there isn't any big gaming events coming up where a reveal would make sense (unless I'm missing something).

Acquisition is a major goal of any big game expansion, and you don’t acquire new players by talking solely to your current players.

Plop a new expansion reveal on a Forza Monthly and even the majority of Forza players won’t know it exists until they get a pop-up in-game.

The problem is that for every one of those YouTubers, there's another 2 or 3 who spread false info or rumors as fact. I really prefer info from the source and I prefer JakeXvX over AR12, I can't stand AR12.

That's a valid point, but that also doesn't advertise/inform non forza players about the expansion. Most people who follow Nick already know/play forza.
The whole point of unveiling it at an event is to advertise and entice players who also don't own the game or haven't played it.
