It's the mother of all front bumpers though 😂😂
Face it, unless you were driving a Panzer tank you'd be sweating buckets if you saw that coming up in the rear view mirror on the inside of turn 1. :nervous::eek:

Now that I got the Manx EV, I'm going spend the rest of the day on a virtual trip to the West Balkans in Euro Truck Simulator 2, as the expansion will release around 7:15 pm Central European Time (I am on the US meaning eastern time is 1:15 pm).

So I'm doing this week's Trial... we're tied 1 to 1 against drivatars. Last race, we need to win.

I'm ahead of the entire team in 4th, in a Delorean, on dirt road (I didn't check the race conditions). Everyone else is in AWD Lancias and Opels... I hold back 5th and 6th AI to give everyone else a chance to catch up. I succeed. Everyone on the team is now ahead of those two, leaving the last 3 AI in the back.

The score is now 1850 them, 1800 us.

Because I did the work to enable team mates gain on the two AI, I brought our score up from 900 to 1800, and now I'm at the back of the pack. I can't catch up to 3rd place AI at this point. It's up to them to gain on just one of them for us to take the W.

As I'm multitasking between making sure I don't lose a position and watching to see if our 4th place player can overtake the AI, I'm focusing on playing as usual, and eventually that 3rd position is gained. That's it. It's 1750 them, 1900 us. That's all we need.

I wrap around the final corner and now we're on the final stretch. One of the weaker players, in a Quattro, a car practically made for the dirt, makes a sloppy turn and I'm catching up down the straight. As I'm moving around to pass, he knocks into me, and I get sent off the bridge...after all that work.

I shouldn't have left the game just so he could take the L.

The Meyers Manx 2.0 EV is the perfect car for me to make fools out of others in a head-to-head, and would be the ideal companion to my Barbie Corvette.

Managed to get on the Cloud yesterday while you lot were all working! Finished the Apex part of Rally and only have the Dirt part left to do. Hoping to get that done next week in my Lancias 😎

Sorry if this has been answered before but I thought I'd ask. If I own FH5 on Steam, Can I play FM on Gamepass on the PC Xbox app and still get the E-Ray? Its pretty much the only reason I picked up a months gamepass but I forgot to make sure that it would work from Gamepass FM to Steam FH5. I am signed into both games using the same Xbox account so I thought theres no reason why it shouldnt work. I've completed the builders cup intro, I believe thats as far as needed to unlock the E-Ray?

I can't see myself continuing with FM and getting my moneys worth. I'm not very impressed to say the least. Especially when it comes to performance issues. Still, The FH5 E-Ray and a go at Starfield will do for me.

Edit - After further researching it seems I should indeed receive the E-Ray. Anyone know roughly how long it normally takes to come through on FH5?

It took about 24 hours for mine to show up. It doesn't go into your gift messages, just straight to your garage.

Forgive my rant.

I don't want to play the Class B Cross Country Championship with Modern Euro/JDM for tarmac anymore. This is the ****tiest combination in the game.

Because these cars are supposed to be tarmac and the stock PI is already close to the upper limit of B class. And this game is easy to raise PI in under B class.
In other words, there is not much I can do. I have no choice but to do what I think is the best upgrade among the limited options.

I calculated the PI and came up with what I thought was probably the best combination.
However, in a race, that machine would be beaten out of the field.
The AI was always +100 mph faster than my car on the straights and turned corners like a S2 class track toys on dry tarmac, even in the rain on gravel.

If they are the better driver and tuner and I lose as a result, I have no complaints.
But what they are doing is just cheating. Losing to something like that is unreasonable and no fun at all.

Still, if my cars were Pickups and 4x4s, Muscle Cars, or Rod and Customs, I could easily beat them.
These cars have relatively more room for upgrades, and I can easily build a "broken" build that can counter their cheats.

What I have to use, however, is a super hot hatch. A category that is balanced around 300 hp/1300 kg no matter how hard I try.
And since AI is not bound by such things, they drive hyper-cheat Hyundai with 10,000 horsepower nuclear engine with unlimited nitrous and 100 tons of downforce and leave me behind.

What is the point of going through dozens of minutes of resetting, restarting, and rewinding for a 3-minute race?
It is also their unreasonable cheat that is the cause of all the defeats. I am not convinced at all.

I don't know exactly what they did to the Drivatar's cars in this week's Trial but it seemed to be the equivalent of strapping rockets to them. It took the most amount of attempts for me this time, with four. The suspiciously fast AI coupled with people joining in an unsuitable car who also don't know how to slow down for corners / need to win at all costs meant this took some doing.

After that post I was worried, but my trial just now was easier than expected....

I took an '83 Golf GTI with a good offroad B700 tune and won races 1 and 2 comfortably at my first attempt.
My group had another fast guy who finished 2nd each time, and the others were all mid pack so we won the series with ease.

Noticed there's been a sneaky "patch" on :gtpflag: and Forza Horizon forum is now below Forza Motorsport.
When you go around the forum on auto using "muscle memory" like me, this causes some confusion

It took some doing to beat the Super Hot Hatch cross country. I tweaked up a 2021 Golf R creatively and finally had a car that could keep up. Offroad tires, and put on the aero for the pi nerf
was the keys.

Thanks for the heads up.

My muscle memory takes me straight to the Forums link at the top left of every page. It displays all the threads I follow including any I've replied to.

The new supervan it self does not make much sense in forza horizon but the new Supervan 3 Pikes peak make a lot of more sense because its a Racing Supervan and, the new files "hillclimb", the most famous hillclimb it was american the pikes peak.

Managed to get on yesterday while everyone was working, and completed the Rally DLC in my Lancias (apart from a few accolades I can't be bothered with - such as do all jumps within 10 minutes yawn), so I've now opened up the Seasonal events for future weeks 👍

This week's "Neon City" Eventlab race was really interesting. It's set in the city, and is basically multiple choice with completely different routes. You can follow the minimap or just turn in completely different directions and use other streets.

Very impressively done.

If you just want to "Hoon" around in the new Bronco Raptor try this tune. It's not really suited to racing in my opinion but it's great fun to throw around on the map for skill points.

I just ran an Eventlab blueprint for today's Forzathon and got an identical time to the winner. I know the opposition is computer controlled but I can't remember having a dead heat before with another racer. Congratulations Skyler is 9 👍

Managed to complete 40 points on Saturday night, after everyone went to bed... I'm now back down to about 20 cars missing, of which 2 are in next week's 20 and 40 point slots. Most of the others were either from early on when the new cars needed 40 points, or from the "doldrums period" (Donut part 1 and around then).

Now I've got the Rally DLC events open in the weekly playlist, I can be a bit more choosy and avoid the stuff I detest (seasonal playground and off-road championships for two!).
