Forgive my rant.
I don't want to play the Class B Cross Country Championship with Modern Euro/JDM for tarmac anymore. This is the ****tiest combination in the game.
Because these cars are supposed to be tarmac and the stock PI is already close to the upper limit of B class. And this game is easy to raise PI in under B class.
In other words, there is not much I can do. I have no choice but to do what I think is the best upgrade among the limited options.
I calculated the PI and came up with what I thought was probably the best combination.
However, in a race, that machine would be beaten out of the field.
The AI was always +100 mph faster than my car on the straights and turned corners like a S2 class track toys on dry tarmac, even in the rain on gravel.
If they are the better driver and tuner and I lose as a result, I have no complaints.
But what they are doing is just cheating. Losing to something like that is unreasonable and no fun at all.
Still, if my cars were Pickups and 4x4s, Muscle Cars, or Rod and Customs, I could easily beat them.
These cars have relatively more room for upgrades, and I can easily build a "broken" build that can counter their cheats.
What I have to use, however, is a super hot hatch. A category that is balanced around 300 hp/1300 kg no matter how hard I try.
And since AI is not bound by such things, they drive hyper-cheat Hyundai with 10,000 horsepower nuclear engine with unlimited nitrous and 100 tons of downforce and leave me behind.
What is the point of going through dozens of minutes of resetting, restarting, and rewinding for a 3-minute race?
It is also their unreasonable cheat that is the cause of all the defeats. I am not convinced at all.
